  I have radio buttons that each have a numerical value. For example = 1 A = 2 C = 0. In the example below, the total is equal to 5.
  

  The sum is displayed at the bottom of the document and is passed to another text box:

  

  Instead of '5' displayed in the text box on the right, it should display a "Control" Word like this:
  

  The displayed word is based on the totals through this range:

  1-2 = 'absorbing '.

  3-4 = 'practitioner '.

  5 to 6 = "control".

  The script I used to pass the value from the left to the right text box in the chart above is:

  name of the field to text box;

  var cTextBox = 'Cabinet Talent strategy knowledge - total';

  get the value of the field with the name in cTextBox;

  var sTextBox = this.getField ("cTextBox") .value;

  Set the value of this field;

  Event.Value = sTextBox;

  That I need to add to this script to show one of the words, such as "control" above?

  I am a complete novice to scripting. I found the above script online and somehow got it to work.

  I have a JTextArea in a get.
  
  I add to the text box and scrolls information off the visible portion of the screen.

• Text typed with 'Add or edit text Box' (typewriter) display disappears/do

  It is a PDF file static, flat I simply want to add a few lines of text (type the information on the image of the flat 'form').  I use the tool typewriter text box and displays the typed text.  When I click on the text box, it disappears as if the text color is white.  The text is red.  When I click where it should appear, the outline of the text box appears and double-clicking it allows me to get into the mode where I can see what has been typed edition.  But when I click out of it, it is still hidden.

  Forgive my ignorance, but nobody knows how to bind a radio button to a text field in an Acrobat pdf form?

  I have a series of 4 radio buttons. If you click on one of them, I want to activate a text field then you will need to fill out. In addition, it would be good to have if you do not click on the radio button you are able to fill the text box.

  You might want to look at hiding and showing form fields by Thom Parker. You can also clear the text field when the radio button is changed.

• Why my text boxes act as the railways?

  I use AI CS6, it opens today, and all the text boxes are behaving like paths.

  I can only resize by using the direct Selection tool. I don't know what happened, I checked text preferences, nothing seems to be odd.

  I would like to attach a screenshot, but the button "Insert an Image" brings up a white box that tells me the 'Operation timed out'.  Not my day for the software.

  Basically, once I have create a text box, I lose the ability to resize unless I handled a corner both with the direct Selection tool.

  Questions like this and similar are usually caused and resolved, by enabling / disabling view > show/hide the bounding box or view > show/hide edges.

  I mentioned both because they are easy keyboard mishits (Ctrl / Cmd + Shift + B and Ctrl / Cmd + H keys, just look at the entourage).

  So I'm still new to do with LiveCycle Forms. I managed to get about 95 percent of the done form. What I can't understand is how to get a subform with two expandable to be returned on the second page text boxes. Any ideas? I read that "technically" it isn't a second page that it was all based on the hierarchy but, I have a second page "(sans titre Subform) (page2.") I want the subform with expandable text boxes ended on the second page and push the content down. So far, all I got is for information to cut at the bottom of page 1.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  given that your text box is inside a subform that is on a Page, you must ensure that each of the elements who are the parents of the textbox are all resolved Flowed content

  Also, make sure that each parents are allow to jump to Page content

  You can find these options in the object palette > subform

  

  Also, make sure that your text box has Page breaks allow within the content option 'checked '.

  I think that the problem causes initialization of a register shift to void / vi. If you initialize a shift register, each time sub vi is called, he will replace value in the registry to offset with initialized value. Uninitialize a registry change to resolve a problem.   In the selectonechoice when hovering over the values in the drop-down list, it displays the same value in the ToolTip too. I want to see the value of another attribute in the ToolTip.

  Thank you Adam, it's originally in a while loop, I placed it in a loop for example, wired County in the for loop and presto, this son of a digital indicator. It works very well. Thanks for the help folks.
