  It seems that you cannot raise an event from a portlet that is in the header, because support portlet context is null. I see no way for you to raise an event directly from the portlet header, if you could have a different portlet (not inside the header or footer) send the event on behalf of the portlet in the header.

  Not sure if it's something with Firefox 30, but this problem appears again.

  In fact, first when I was close the browser with multiple tabs open, it warned me with the little popup, but it wasn't the "do you want Firefox to save your tabs for the next time it starts? It was just the warning of closure which said "you are about x tabs. Are you sure that you want to continue? »

  So, who was recently #1 problem. I want the option to save and exit. But only in the last few days, it seems, is not even show this close attention now. With several tabs open, it closes just to the bottom of the browser. When opening Firefox again, tabs have been restored, at least it's a good thing, although weird.

  I wonder how come back asking to "Save and exit" or "Quit" or "Cancel" as before.

  In response to some requests for information as possible, here is some information that you may be asking, which I already checked:
  -as appropriate on: configuration settings are all set to true already, such as browser.tabs.warnOnClose and browser.showQuitWarning
  -in tools > Options, "warn me when closing multiple tabs" is checked, and "show my windows and tabs from last time" is selected for the start of Firefox. Nothing has changed!
  -safe mode does not solve the problem; Firefox closes always just if I quit or press the red X.
  -"Always use the private browsing mode" is unchecked.
  -I didn't run a program like CCleaner between sessions

  I have not changed anything, but this problem happening! I hope someone can help me to solve this problem and go back to the way it was, where accidentally close Firefox could be avoided and restore the previous session was possible.

  Well well, with more tests and the help of my boyfriend, what I've learned, it's that tabs "Save and exit" dialogue prevails over the caveat to the closure of several tabs.

  With browser.showQuitWarning set to true, it will ask me to save and exit - but not if "show my windows and tabs from last time" is selected to start Firefox, who dismisses the prompt to save and leave (and close several tabs warning). It will save just for you to quit smoking.
  And had I disabled this browser.showQuitWarning manually or by selecting "do not ask next time" on the Sava and dialogue to quit smoking, then the warning for closing multiple tabs seems to try to close multiple tabs, since I warn the option in my settings of the tabs.

  It is one or the other, save and exit or warning to the closure of several tabs.
  It would be nice but if it was not a conflict between the fence several warning tabs and Firefox abandoning dialogue.

  So, I hope this can help someone else who may be confused or accidentally to change options and potentially be screwed on. After all, I can an injury self-inflicted in the settings.

  Do not use 'Clear history of Firefox closing' to clear the 'browsing history '.

  Use a dedicated thread for logging and a queue to source it. See the "queue implementations of the trails in the Java tutorials for the use of queues and the code example that works.

  Java has several classes of queue synchronized you can use if those in this tutorial are not suitable for your use case. Here's just one:

  Unlimited thread-safe queue based on linked nodes. This queue orders elements FIFO (first-in-first-out). The head of the queue is this element which remained the longest the queue. At ConcurrentLinkedQueue is a good choice when the number of threads will share access to a common collection.   Using a queue your current code can add recording which is FAST because it is add an instance of the class to a collection rather interact with the file system. And your current code requires NO knowledge of the functioning of the system of newspaper, that it connects or when and where it connects.

  For your use case use you a synchronized queue and edit each of your worker threads to add their log data to the master queue used by the newspaper for the logging thread.

  You shouldn't have multiple threads trying to write directly in the same file.

  The entire point of the modular and multi-processing programming is to BREAK dependencies between modules of code.

  The logging system must be INDEPENDENT of the other code and your current code must NOT have ANY need or knowledge of the file system or OF the specificity of the way where, or when the data is actually stored.

  Your code must run simple and minimal logging by adding its data to a queud. Once the log data was added to the queue and then, as far as your code is concerned, that data has been noted. It should be ONLY module log to determine the LOCATION to save the data, HOW to record data and even WHAT information to log.

  You can add the larger newspapers in the future: newspapers, paper 1) different levels of 2) to a remote server or the database 3 send some events in the log.

  I suggest you create a SIMPLE D.O. (data object) to maintain the log info (attributes like gravity, time/date, type of exception stack, error, etc.). Then create a class of SIMPLE log with several overloaded methods: a method that takes a single parameter, with two, etc. Javas is owner of exception classes have some simple examples of both simple and complex, nested exception handling.

  You can, but in this case, it might be easier to build your report tables that are joined Oracle views and then build your report out of the newly built sight...

  Or wrap a selection around your selection with joins, and then make the where clause on the external selection...

  I was wondering if there is a way to remove an object from the tab completely order.  Thus, when the user reaches the end of my set tab order they failed to hit 74 times tab to go beyond the computed text fields to return to the top of the order.

  I have a custom login form, and I would like to create an event that is raised when the authentication returns true from the server. Right now I have a result event in the component to handle the Boolean condition of webservice. I tried simply instantiating a new event (public var auth:Event = new Event () ;) inside the element and the distribution of this event of the logic of the Manager resultEvent. But, outside the element, not no symbol bit next to the auth event lightning bolt as appropriate to call an event from the mxml.
  
  I want to be able to instantiate this event since the mxml listener and manage the event from outside the custom component. Should which model I use to encapsulate the event?
