Range of the signal DAQmx outdated?
It could be me not quite understand the works of ADC express signal range.
I use a chassis SCXI-1001, SCXI-1600 USB DAQ and a table of 1520 SCXI and 1314 for measures of constraints. Within daqmx I have my range néc - 500 to 3500 uStrain with an excitement of the factor of 10V and pledge of 2.2. After a recent test, I measured more than 4000 uStrain. Real or not (we think maybe it's a sign of bad) I feel like the ADC must be on track to 3500. What I'm missing here? If the range does not reflect the real max and min then what it means.
The range you define just tells DAQmx range values to cover. With your configuration, you might be able to read much read more than 4000 depending on the configuration. The given info, I just couldn't understand that the device is set on currently, but I'm sure you could dig a little in the specifications with your configuration to find out what Beach is using the card in your computer.
If you feel that the material can act weird, there's a great KB help with measures of constraint in case of problems with your specific hardware.

I have a big house, with my router (BT home hub) in a wiring closet in a laundry room. The House is wired for ethernet and my current Wi - Fi, a Netgear WPN802, is placed at the best discreet place in the House. It is quite visible from everywhere in the House, the signal is quite low in some places.
If I replace it with a common Netgear router, switched to AP mode, I see a significant improvement in the strength of signal and the beach? Smartphones, tablets and streaming music boxes (Sonos) are the usual wifi customers.
In general, with one exception, hand-off is controlled by the device. On devices where the roaming aggressiveness can be adjusted, usually of the laptops and PC with Wi - Fi cards, it is sometimes possible to do hand-off low impact, but it is often neither transparent nor without interruption. I walk often so, personally, that this is not a matter of my house with my laptop streaming.
However, smartphones often do not have adjustable settings of roaming aggressiveness, but it is precisely the devices with which we want to transfer transparent. My old iPhone 5 was terrible to homelessness at home and at work.
If you install a second WAP in your House, don't expect transparent transfers. But, as I said, it's usually to the device.
I talked to an exception almost, and perhaps two. One is that there is a connection Wi - Fi standard 802.11r called which rudder hand fast shipment. I don't think that any consumer connection Wi - Fi gear to implement. Two is that Ubiquiti Networks offers an exclusive feature called discount zero where several Ubiquiti APs can work together in the hand-off a device between them. It is not so good, if you have many Wi - Fi devices and need a lot of bandwidth. It is a compromise between speed and reliability.
I would recommend that you try one of the higher end Netgears with external antennas. If you are happy with your current router and only need an AP, consider the EX7000. It is marketed as a wireless extension, but it is also usable as a wired access point. It'll be cheaper than the R7000. But if you want to improve your router, then the R7000 is an excellent choice. I have one and it covers almost my entire House, 2 storeys.
This should be a pretty simple question, but I can't seem to find the answer online and currently do not have the functionality to test this:
I'm using LabVIEW 8.5 and have a VI that imports data from sensor through the DAQ Assistant. In the configuration tab, there is a range of signal input. What happens if my sensor exceeds this range? I get a warning? The default value is the maximum (or minimum)? I was interested in writing a code to display an error that I approach the limits of this range, but did not know if I also need to include code to display an error if the scope is exceeded as well.

The behavior depends on the selected range and the device you are using.
If you are using a device with a single input range is valid, we will use this range, even if you set a smaller minimum and maximum in the DAQ Assistant. So, if your device only supports ±10V and you set the range to ±8V, you will still continue to get valid data after your top sensor 8V until what you approach 10V. When you reach the limit of the extent of your device, the output will be 'rail', and simply return the maximum value until the signal is less than the maximum value again.
Note: A device that is nominally ±10V usually has a go-around (such as ±10.2V) which are usually specced in the manual.
However, if you use a device with several ranges of entry then things become more complex.
NOR-DAQmx player will choose the smallest range that entirely covers the interval you choose. For example, suppose that your device supports the following input range: ±0.2V, ±1, ±5V, ±10V and you choose 0V - 3V as the range in the DAQ assistant. The NOR-DAQmx driver will focus on the input range and the list of the entry lines that your hardware supports and choose the smallest encompassing the entire range that you set. This would be the ±5V, because this is the only beach that contains up to 3V. Thus, all between ±5V input signal is returned and none outside this range will be 'rail' to the maximum or minimum value.
We do this because using small beaches make more efficient use of the resolution of the ADC. So, we try to use the most effective range based on what you ask without picking up a range that will make you miss data.

Values returned signal strength by WSN nodes seem to range from 0 to 100. How are these calculated values signal strength? My name is Luke Ho. I am trying to acquire the signal with Labview (Sthelescope). The signal comes from sensor acoustics, then filters and amplifiers to adapt to ADC rank (0 - 5V). Thus, the maximum frequency of the signal is 40 kHz.
According to the Nyquist theorem, I sampled at least 80 Khz signal.
Is there a sampling frequency devices like that? or y at - it another way of better? I used the Arduino before, but it was about 10 kHz.

This is the cheapest option to NEITHER. I tried to look for options to other companies, but more I found in the same price range, or not answering is not your condition of sample rate.
I posted this question once again, but I still have problems with the acquisition of data. I'm acquiring a voltage signal by using an accelerometer module and single voltage NI6361. I would like to set up the accelerometer to measure a range of signal between + / 5000g.
The accelerometer sensitivity = 0,516 mV/g where

This is because the sliders are locked to the plot. So they can only go to the values where there is a data point. I am trying to operate a PZT with a given signal (of a formula) and to save the output of the sensors. I use a PXI of NI 5421 to generate the signal and an NI PXI 5105 to record signals. I made the attached code that works well, however, I'd like to be able to the frequency and the number of samples (the number of samples is function of frequency) in the VI of signal to create loop so that I can scan a range of frequencies. Could you please help me. I can't find a way to control the frequency outside the edit in the Properties window.
I just thought of it. I Redid the vi and when I ran an error that said come the input signal must be an integer value to a multiple of 4. I made a few simple changes to make and after that everything worked as expected. I guess that the entrance of waveform looked ok but not get operated by material, unless it is a multiple of 4.

I have available two routers wireless broadband Linksys G (WRT54G2), given to me by a family member. We use one of the routers by itself for some time, but have no adequate signal throughout our House. I decided it would be easier to design the floor plan of the House for you to see his situation compared with the rest of the House on the walls that do not. We have the HughesNet satellite internet which is on the roof just about the location of the modem and router at the bottom right of the image.
What do you think would be the best location of the main router? I read it would be more centrally located, because the signal travels horizontally and vertically. I just bought a 100' Ethernet cable being the only one that we had what the HughesNet Installer provided us with which is about 4'. I initially thought I would be the cable from main router to the basement where the second router is placed since the signal there is about 1 in 3 bars on my iPhone. The signal on the floor in the ranges of the main room (room at the top in the middle of the image) of 3-5 off 5 bars on my laptop.
I wanted to just put a post sooner rather than later to see what your views were on the location of the main router and I have to increase the signal.

If you want to configure the router as an access point 2 then the connection will be LAN to LAN which means the LAN port of the router port main o the 2nd router's LAN... But before you connect to the main router.
You should first connect the 2nd router to your laptop, go to the configuration page. Configure wireless settings it is firstly, ethier you set up another name and password is all up to you. Then change the IP address to a number of 192.168.1.x(any fera l'affaire) and disable DHCP... then after that connect to the main router.
I have 1 Airport Extreme Base Station (5th generation) in my house.

However, I can recommend the app Netspot (PC/Mac friendly) to measure the signal wireless throughout your home.

When I play a HD-DVD on my G30-220 LCD_panel, it works like a charm (with the Toshiba HD - DVD player software).
When I switch to dualview to export the signal through HDMI to my LCD TV (HDCP), I get an error message:
' Cannot implement the signal. Please switch to the internal display "(this is not the exact English message. I get the error message in Dutch and I've translated).
As much as I know the dual display is not possible. Either watch you on LCD display or on the TV. The two of them at the same time will not work. Reason because it's the protection against copying, and also because of very high data transfer.
