ranking in firefox 4, this was a bad idea, my suport usually sistem there is 10.4.11
I was running on 3.6, but I tried to upgrade because when I want to open a mail from yahoo. He won't, and he says it's a bad request. S0, I tried to upgrade to a newer version of firefox and he won run in my system, because my computer version 10.4.11
For older Macs are not supported in Firefox 4.0 & 5.0, try TenFourFox for the PowerPC running Mac 10.4.11 and 10.5.8.

Or stick with Firefox 3.6.19.

Persistent Store - is this good or bad idea?
Currently, I have setup an application with a vector of objects that I store, works great! For my next request, I want to save more information and thought of different ways to do this. This first one saves a whole bunch of a single type of object...
I want to create 3 vectors over other types of objects I created... I thought I could store each vector with id different, maybe I could make a vector of vectors, or maybe make another object that has inside and just vectors that store... examples below:
the idea of vectors vector
Vector vectorOfAObjects;
Vector vectorOfBObjects;
Vector vectorOfCObjects;
Vector vectorOfDObjects;
Vector storeMyVectors;
storeMyVectors.insertElementAt (vectorOfAObjects, 0);
storeMyVectors.insertElementAt (vectorOfBObjects, 0);
storeMyVectors.insertElementAt (vectorOfCObjects, 0);
storeMyVectors.insertElementAt (vectorOfDObjects, 0);
and then to get my stuff back, I would use storeMyVectors.elementAt (0) to return vectorOfAobjects...
I thought I could do as an object that contained the four vectors as fields... like
class relatedVectors implements {persistable
Vector vectorOfAObjects;
Vector vectorOfBObjects;
Vector vectorOfCObjects;
Vector vectorOfDObjects;
relatedVectors (vector a, vector b, vector c, vector d) {}
vectorOfAObjects = a;
vectorOfBObjects = b;
vectorOfCObjects = c;
vectorOfDObjects = d;
}
}
Finally, could I simply store different types of objects in the same vector, keeping the tack of indexing point? For some reason any I have in my head a vector must be of the same type of object, but I don't think it's true... In this case, I could do a vector and the index 1, 5, 9, etc... Once object type and 2, 6, 10 other etc...
What idea is the best?
Thank you!
Vector objects are not the same. Mix them as you like.
Re have one or several store ID persisting, I actually don't think it's important. I have found that if you update some of the vector, then commit, it does not take too long - I think that only the modified part commits again. Replacement of the entire vehicle with a completely new would have more load.
The design basically your data store around the needs of your application, rather than worrying about the consequences this will have on the device.
BUT, a big concern.
Remember that the objects that you save in the persistent store must remain the same to be accessible, if persist you an object with 2 integer values, then change this class so that there are three integer values, then your persistent object becomes illegible. So try to future proof your persistent objects or design a path for them.

Why firefox free version 29.0.1. It's terrible! I had to find a plugin to change the back legs. Bad decision. Why this was done?
Not happy with the version 29.0.1 - are there plans for this move?Hi RickAce
Could you please start a new thread for your question?
You can provide more information such as your operating system and installed extensions and plugins installed.
In case of accidents also please add a few recent crash ID that you can find on the subject: page hangs and which begin with a prefix 'bp '.
You can check for problems with the files that store the preferences.
Delete a possible user.js file and files numbered prefs-# .js and rename (or delete) the file prefs.js to reset all the prefs by default, including the prefs set via user.js and pref which is no longer supported in the current version of Firefox.

I had installed a plugin to add the tab "duplicate" to right-click menu for tabs. This was lost when I stupidly updated FF4 (my bad). I don't remember how I added this feature, which is STANDARD with IE8, FF3.6! Tab Manager disobeys. WHY IS - IT NOT A STANDARD CONTAINED IN FF4?
Could this be the add-on you think:

I was on my yahoo email account. Yahoo has proposed an update of Firefox 33. I opted to use and to install. If I remember correctly, when I clicked on it, the screen went black, it said something about encryption (I think), but none of the options that were offered worked (cancel/continue etc...). I tried to forcequit firefox, but it wouldn't let me. I tried to retsart but it wouldn't let me. I finally unplugged the computer and things are back to "normal".
Question: is it a bad idea to update Firefox of Yahoo? Can I have a 'clean' of Firefox version or it's going to hurt later? do I have to restore the old version? I'm not really savvy computer.Yes, it was a mistake to accept the offer from Yahoo to update Firefox. You have probably received their own version of 3rd party. From what I've seen posted here contains the potentially unwanted options.
The only place to get is Firefox Mozilla.

I clicked by mistake on the choice of "don't show this again option" in the "Firefox prevented this page open in a new window or tab", and now I can't understand how "uncheck" the box and back again once the window options.
My bad - it was the pop up Adblock Plus 0.7 Addon.
"I went just the Firefox button orange > Modules > Adblock Plus pop-up Addon 0.7 - > Options > my site rules > the site right click > edit > checked 'Block all pop-up windows' and unchecked" this rule applies to: 'New Windows' and 'new tab '.
Presto! Firefox works as before.
I didn't know I had controls within the addon that would affect the Firefox popup blocks the action.
Please call the attention on the "details of the system more.»

I rebooted the free version of the Firefox browser, about two months ago. Since then, whenever I navigate, with few exceptions, Firefox displays a message bar at the top of the screen saying "Firefox prevented this site" with the message, there is a checkbox asking ' ALLOW? When I check ALLOW it most of the time, I get a web page, BUT on some occasions, Firefox keeps just block the page.
Sites and pages that I refer here are for the most part, places of TRUST.
This happened since I rebooted. It was NOT a problem before that.
It is VERY annoying and I have since passed to Google Chrome.
If you can offer any reasoning or explain why this is happening, I will be grateful.
Thank you. mLowe51Finally looks like a response to the blocking of the Government and other trusted sites

V33.0 how can I disable "firefox prevented this page automatically reloading"?
Loading my home page I get the following message "firefox prevented this page automatically reload. Until I upgraded to V33.0 I was able to solve this problem. The response was to uncheck the "notify me when pages try to redirect", but I do not see this option in V33.0.
This should be in the same place:
"3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > advanced > general mini-onglet > uncheck the box "warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page.

I use firefox on a MacBook pro. Mac OS X version 10.7.5. There was an update of firefox on a day or 2 ago. Since this was done, I was getting 'syntax error' 5 times, each time that a page has been loaded. Some research has suggested that an application or a plug-in called "social fixer" might be the problem but I could not understand how to get rid of it so decided to try to reset Firefox. Minutes passed and a message was on the screen saying the old files of firefox have been been "cleaned" or something, but it seems to be 'stuck' because the progress bar was little jerky. Doesn't it usually doesn't. So I clicked on "Cancel". After that, I couldn't even firefox to start. Looks like my profile is unavailable or inaccessible. Following the instructions found on the support site, I created a new profile and I thought I copied the files from the previous firefox on the new profile, but when I run firefox, it's a blank slate. None of my bookmarks or passwords are there. It must be here somewhere, but I can't seem to understand.
Looks like there was a problem with updating the profiles.ini file.
You can try to remove the current profiles.ini file to force Firefox to create a new default profile where Firefox has not done that.
You can check if there is a profile folder with a number of attached time stamp and in this case, you can set the location of a profile created in this folder.- http://KB.mozillazine.org/Recovering_a_missing_profile
- http://KB.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox
If you need to recover data from an older profile, always in the default location, or as a folder of old data of Firefox on the desktop then see:

How can I disable this message blocking? "firefox prevented this page automatically redirecting to another page.
It used to be boring, but now he has completely blocked me to connect to a Web site.Tools > options > advanced > general...
then uncheck the...
I myself have this option because I stand bad pages themselves help to redirect to who knows what. Why can't you just go sites where I click? -
I tried to create a new profile, the problem remains the same.
None of the 3 accounts on this desktop computer can use Firefox. This has never been a problem. Today (14.11.11) I've updated Firefox to 8 and nothing more. Via Safari, I downloaded Firefox 7 to reinstall, same error message.
From Firefox 4, Mac must have an Intel x 86 processor (which you do not have) and OSX 10.5 or higher (version OSX 10.4).
The good news is that Firefox 3.6.24 still support OSX 10.4 and Mac with the PPC Mac architecture. The bad news is that the support for Firefox 3.6.x series is likely to end in the first quarter of 2012.
- System requirements: Firefox 3.6.x
- Download Firefox 3.6.24: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

Use Earthlink as my home page. Received the new laptop with Windows 7. Whenever I load my home (Earthlink homepage) page the "Firefox has prevented...". "appears. I click on 'allow' but the message comes back. If I click on the 'X' he disappears until I try to open the page again. The page is launched, but the message is boring.
In addition, where is my toolbar?
If I close Firefox with several tabs open and reopen it, that one tab is.
All this was without problems before the new Firefox and Windows 7.(1) to allow reload and redirect pages as expected, uncheck the box here:
Firefox button or menu Tools > Options > advanced
In the tab "General" mini, "warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload...". »
(2) , where is my toolbar?
Can you describe which toolbar is missing? In general you can activate the toolbars turned on and off using the:
View > toolbars
(if you have the orange Firefox button, press the Alt key to display the classic menu bar)
(3) If you want to resume your previous session after Firefox starts, you can use
Firefox button > history > restore previous Session
or
History menu > restore previous Session
Who help me?

In Options/Advanced/general Options, that I 'Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page' selected.
However there are some cases - for example, when a page has me 'pending' temporarily when the site is too busy ("we're going to keep you in the queue and will warn you if the website is available"), with the "Firefox prevented this page automatically reloading" bar appears in the upper part.
If I left the bar remain without any intervention on my part, can the page REALLY let me know when the site is available? Or how about if I click Close (X) on the bar, which in fact disappear. Is Firefox and then allowing the page reload, or is it always block but just to remove the notification that it is done? (A third choice, by clicking the "Authorize" button is essentially useless in this case because it just instantly reappears.)
Bottom line, I strive to make sure the page that's too busy REALLY can let know me when it is available, without having to change all of the global settings.

If you do not click allow, Firefox will ignore a metatag to refresh as follows in order to reload the page every 30 seconds:
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="30">
But as you point out, by clicking on allow made that immediately reload the page and the same triggers InfoBar again. One of the many reasons that this feature is more trouble that it's worth.
If you leave the display bar or if you 'x' of the bar, the scripts can always reload the page. In other words, this function does NOT stop something similar to the following to reload the page every 60 seconds:
<script type="text/javascript">
window.setTimeout(function(){window.location.reload()}, 60000);
</script>So what is happening on the page in question depends on how it is designed.

I try to install GMail Watcher by Sonthakit. It is hosted off site here: https://sites.google.com/site/sonthakit/gmailwatcher
Whenever I try to install the addon by clicking on 'Install the free', Firefox tells me "Firefox prevented this site asking you to install the software on your computer" and does not give me an option to ignore the warning and install it anyway. I clicked on the padlock icon in the address bar and activated all the appropriate permissions, but it will not yet let me install the addon even after restarting Firefox. I have just reset Firefox and use the latest version.
How can I say grass and let me install the Firefox addon?
This is because the part of the page button is loaded into an iframe, as you can see if you click on the button install free
You get only the button allow if this button is located in the home page and not when the button is in an iframe.
One solution is to open this image in a new tab by right clicking the button.

In SSMS, that means the space between an alias of the table and column name mean?
Sometimes I see this: "d.PhaseKey" instead of this "d.PhaseKey". I'm sure this means something is wrong in the query or table - but this gives no indication of what is wrong? I'm not sure on how to interpret it.
