• Equium A100-147 - sound devices do not work correctly

  I've owned an Equium A100-147 for only less than a year.

  The problem I have is that if I put pressure on the area around the left speaker (where is the VGA port) there is a substantial "cracking" / rattling noise. The right does not exhibit this problem.

  The other day with a same case design (model Satellite A), I got another PC Toshiba laptop and it seems to have a slightly stiffer construction quality.

  Is it worth getting it checked under warranty while I still have the warranty? Or am I just too picky?

  Interestingly enough, why you support on the area around the speakers. As far as I know the speakers are placed between the keyboard and display and keyboard there is no pressure to the speakers. Very strange method to test the functionality of the laptop! ;)

  In any case, you should contact the service because the speaker should be placed and fixed correctly.

  I have an Equim A100-027 and I already upgraded the two 512 MB to 2 GB 2 memory chips which is the maximum I can get?

  I've also already installed a hard drive over a 350GB one, but I'm looking to install a high - what is the maximum size that I could install? I guess that there must be a limit, but I was hoping that 750 GB to 1 TB would be OK.

  I'm afraid that 2 GB RAM ist the value of memory as possible which is supported by Equium A100-027 Mr. I have this chipset limitation.

  Upgrading the HARD drive must be possible from the controller SATA isn't limited to a certain size.

  I have a Toshiba Equium A100-063 (PSAAQE-00G006IT).
  The keyboard does not work, the usb keyboard does not work even in the bios.
  I disassembled the PC and unplugged the keyboard but does not work (even in bios).
  I formatted the PC and even the on-screen keyboard does not make me see the letters on the buttons.
  I searched on all sites of the Toshiba driver or bios update for this but found nothing.

  I reloaded Xp which solved a problem of sound. Now, I can't connect to internet because I don't have the driver for ethernet controller. I spent several hours trying to find this driver but my search always ends up in a dead end.

  Toshiba does not list the driver on the download page, and I don't know what to do. Any ideas guys?

  There are three models of Equium A100. Please post model number short and we can check it for you.

  It is old model so less product type choose Archive.

  Hello. I have an Equium A100 with sound problems. The best I can describe it, but it sounds like a Dalek.
  I am running Xp pro. I uninstalled and re installed the driver several times in the hope that would sort, but that did not work.
  Anyone got any ideas?

  Before starting to discuss your problem please post what model of laptop you have exactly (A100-xxx) and what operating system you use.

  By the way: this A100 is old enough and, if I m remembering well, some of them were shipped with Windows XP Media Center Edition. I assume that with original preinstalled OS sound must be OK. Can you confirm this?

  Hello all you have a problem with my laptop recently I tried to burn a cd and in any program I use says something wrong with the disc etc and burn a little and displays the status bar.

  Try to clean the laser lens with a cotton ball and alcohol tip.
  In my case it helped to solve a similar problem with an optical disk drive.

  Trying to find drivers for Equium A100 - 02L (PSAAQE-00P00KAV) on behalf of a friend.

  I personally can't find something for Equium A100 Series. All Toshiba seems to recognize A300 etc. I tried making via the serial number (47247514 (Q), but this is not also recognized by Toshiba. I know mobile is discontinued, but would be drivers expected to be for her.

  My problems with the black screen syndrome seem to start at the time asked me to put a BIOS password. I managed to get some information indicating "press ESC and start together and then press F1 '-it seemed to work once, but then I couldn't repeat the sequence, the computer just started directly in windows.

• Equium A100-338 display has stopped working

  I have exactly the same problem on my Equium A100-338 loaded with Vista.
  The display has stopped working (he went to a poorly lit black screen) after I had rebooted my machine even if the computer and the hard drive seems to work Ok with the lights on. I tried the usual elimination of power and the battery and restart it tricks, but after initial success it has stopped working after a few weeks.

  Once I had the computer operation that I only closed it down in the mode 'sleep', and he continued to work for a month until that he should be released after a windows update. I then plugged an external display and use of the Fn + F5 key got the external display running.

• Video driver not compatible for Equium A100

  I get this error message when you try to use the Media Center on my Equium A100 - 306 OS Windows XP Me. Don't play videos in it.

  Also when playing videos on any media player, I have a few horizontal lines appearing with a lil flicker. The videos are not playing as well. Any help please?
