RDO. EXE Firefox crash, had to re - install

was on Ebay, and my program antivirus (AVG Free) has reported a "Trojan horse" by the name of RDO. EXE, asked if I wanted to allow or quarentine, so I chose Quarentine, but everything is locked. I waited for a while, but the message about the Trojan horse was still on the screen, everything was locked. I then Cntrl_alt_del and restarted the machine. Downloaded SAV32cli. followed these instructions, and it found nothing. More than Malwarebytes, or Spybot, but Microsoft Update wouldn't work, or make Firefox (8.01) FF grew up an incident report, which would not send.
I have done a system restore, and which sort MS update, but not ff. I uninstalled FF and just reinstalled (9.xx). It doesn't seem to be something on the RDO. EXE from google, so I don't really know if it was a Trojan attack or a glitch of FF, but I can no longer use this machine for banking operations, etc., until SOMETHING RDO reports. EXE is removed (with the exception of me in Regedit). You wanted to contact Mozilla, to see if anyone had heard or treated with WDO.exe. I found a WDC. EXE and instructions for this follow-up, the lines in the registry to delete were not there, so I'm happy that I wrote the correct thing when it appeared.

Make a check of malware with some scan of malware programs. You need to scan with all programs, because each program detects a different malicious program. Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database prior to scanning.

  • Firefox crashes after installing 29,0

    People,
I installed 29,0 early Saturday morning (10/05/14) before the 29.0.1 patch has been published. Even after 29.0.1. installed himself, he continued to be planted after 1-2 minutes. I couldn't even keep it long enough to generate reports of crash and never had the crash report dialog box.

I downloaded and installed 28.0, but nothing has changed.

Today, I watched in the Mangler task to see if something came out. I open the Services tab and found that nearly half services for Firefox was "arrested." Being desperate, I decided to try to restart some services and on the top 10. I started to receive messages one by one that said that a service could not be restarted because of bad software from a facility (no surprise).

I gave up and tried to restart Firefox again. This time, he stayed up! So, I tried to find the grave down for 5/10. There is NOT! Apparently, the program did not stay up long enough to generate and save a report of crash in the usual way.

But after trying to restart services "Stopped", Firefox is stayed until the fairly long for me to read the page giving suggestions for accidents. I decided to restart in safe mode, and it remained up to again. So, try to restart some services both run in safe mode appear to work (we'll see).

I went to the directory of App Data\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash reports and found two reports of incidents for 5/10. They were not in the subfolders 'pending' or 'subject '. However, when I tried to copy them to another folder, they disappeared.

So, where should I go from here? I have a disabled browser that is important for my work. I especially need add-on Adobe Acrobat to work. You can fix this?

Here is the list of "All reports of incidents." No multiple accidents which took place may 10 after installing 29,0 appear here. Apparently, the browser works so badly that it has not yet generated incident reports.

Finally, I saved my favorites and uninstalled Firefox completely. Then I installed the 28. It has not crashed, more. Then I upgraded to 29.0.1, and now it seems OK.

But, why did I have to go through all that? That the average user could do that? N °

And still no recognition of what happened with 29,0. I'd love to charge an hour for the time I spent on this or maybe I just do not contribute this year.

  • Found 0 results for how to UNINSTALL Firefox 9.0.1? I installed it last night and Firefox crashed maybe 20 times since then. The previous version crashes almost never. Help, please

Since installing Firefox 9.0.1 YESTERDAY evening on my iMac, which is running OSX v. 10.5.8, Firefox hangs now every few minutes. It often happens that I'm going from one site to the other - when I click on a site referenced to my favorites, Firefox crashes as the following website is coming. I've NEVER had this problem with Firefox before. I need to uninstall it and go back to the previous version of Firefox, but OSX is not a simple routine "back to the previous configuration. Or... Please immediately send a fix for version 9.0.1 (assuming that others have the same problem).

Follow the suggestions mentioned in the following articles:

Check and tell if its working.

Might not be related to your problem, but some of your Plugins are out of date

    • Update all of your Firefox Plugins-> https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/
    • During the installation of the Plugins download files hotfix, remove the check mark to download any other software options with your Plugins (for example, toolbars, McAfee, Google Chrome, etc.)
  • Firefox crashes even after a clean install of Windows

    Hey!

My Firefox keeps crashing. It starts up ok, but still crashes shortly after. I do not see a pattern in accidents, it seems random. Strange thing is that I had this problem before with Win7 and now he persists after installation clean full of Win10. The two hard drives formatted, no old files or anything left... It crashes in safe mode, too. On Win7, I could get locked out of the browser. Sometimes he would start crashing whenever I started the browser. A reboot has allowed me to once again successfully launch Firefox, but it would soon break without worrying. He crashed on the clean install of Firefox and crashed after that I installed Adobe Flash.

The crash began perhaps a few days previously, I think not that a lot of it initially. Now, however, it drives me nuts; It is basically impossible to navigate. Firefox browser my go-to for years and I would rather go to another.

    Here are a few crash reports: 4b05df7c-24d3-49e3-a13f-c9d57aca3cf0 bp-775561fc-4d6c-48a5-8c6b-e3af42161108 43d377a7-ea92-4c37-b717-84a562cd2d36 bp-09b21c04-8640-44ed-a261-a98f12161108 bp-9726e46d-d041-4fba-b905-f92682161108 fb6d8a28-79c6-4cab-b4c1-096778ca49e8

You will appreciate all help to the problem.

Seems that the problem is solved by itself. Not a single accident today. I don't have any idea of that which could have fixed, or what caused it in the first place. Curious, but no matter, I'm a happy camper now. I wish all support forums it was effective.

Update your security related software Trusteer report . If this doesn't help not try to disable or uninstall. The Trusteer report software is likely to need updating for each new version of Firefox, but can't always update automatically.

Trusteer is apparently aware of the problem and try to get updates.

Please report about how you will.
It may be interesting to know exactly what that software and the version is that you are having problems with and then the version that is updated and hopefully that solves the problem.

  • Since Firefox 9.0.1 has been installed, Firefox crashes almost every time I try to visit a Web site, please can you help me? Thank you

If I try to read my mail, it crashes 2 or 3 times before it works. The same with almost any site that is necessary to "load". He has never done before Firefox 9.0.1 has been installed. It gets really annoying because I can also be hit an email for example and it crashes and I have to start over. My computer is running Vista. Please can you advise me. Thank you. • Firefox crashes when installing

    Hello

After that bad replacement RAM on my Mac (a MacBook Pro 15 inch, start 2011 with 8G of RAM running Mac OS 10.9.4), Firefox (version 31.0) continually freezes at startup and even during installation. I uninstalled Firefox and removed all ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox folder (and its contents several times), but to no avail. At this point, the installer of Firefox will crash all by displaying the bookmarks to import screen. It seems that something somewhere has been corrupted, but I can't understand that.
