Re: Buzzing/buffering sound every few seconds when the streaming videos online.

I'm having the same problem. I followed your steps with the sound and even the glitching. Any other suggestions? Everything is updated, I use windows 8.1 it seems to be a little better on the Netflix App, but from time to time it will happen. Cannot watch Youtube or any other video. Tried to download the Youtube app to see if it is useful, and it was worse. Thank you!

Hi @TobieJThiel ,

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I uninstall the current browser and download a new one for Windows 8.1. You can do this here.

I would check here to see if there is Chipset driver updates that are needed as well as the BIOS update.

I hope this helps.

Thank you.

  • Hum/buffering sound every few seconds when the streaming videos online.

I can't stream videos online (IE youtube, vimeo, etc.).  Every few seconds the sound will sound buffer. The photo is very good all the time. I have updated all drivers, tried to change the 16-bit sound, 440000Hz, update flash, silverlight etc. I also tried several browsers such as IE, firefox and chrome.

I found a solution that is far from ideal, but if I disable the Realtek High Definition Audio, restart the computer and then reactivates the Realtek High Definition Audio, the sound buffer disappears. Unfortunately the its buffer returns the next time I start the computer.

Does anyone have a more permanent solution than the deactivation of the sound system - reboot and then reactivating og the sound system?

  • How can I prevent the computer from the buffering every few seconds on the site Web of NHL when you watch the games?

    HOW CAN I STOP "BUFFERING"?

    Hello

    1. what web browser is installed on your computer? (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.)

2 are you facing this problem with any particular Web site?

Buffering or Streaming media is multimedia that are constantly received by, and normally, an end-user while being delivered by a streaming provider (the term "present" is used in this article in a general sense that includes audio or video.

A media stream can be broadcast live or on demand. Live stream is generally provided by a device called true streaming. True streaming sends the information directly to the computer or device without saving the file on a hard drive.

To stop the buffering or to increase the speed of buffering, there is no option within the operating system. Only way to stop or to increase the speed of buffering in some measure is to have a connection with a higher bandwidth. But note that as does you not an option of continuous play in CD or DVD.

Another work about that I do personally is to pause the video at the full buffering and watch the video once the buffering is completed.

  • Violent screen when the streaming videos G9-791

I don't really know what the problem is. I tried to download videos and play them on movies & TV.

Reset the PC through the recovery options due to problems with the Audio Dolby does not properly.

Made sure my drivers are all updated also. I don't know why streaming on youtube or kissanime (tried HTML5 and Flash) and it is always heartbreaking to screen. It does not last long (if anything I would say that it is all the more than half a second), but it occurs throughout the video. Nobody likes this right?

I'll try to reset the PC again and see if it helps. Really want to reinstall all my applications. Anyway wish me luck

Solved by myself. It turns out that it was an update of chrome or something that has to do with hardware acceleration.

Just go chrome settings > see the advanced settings > (scroll all the way to this part of the system) > uncheck "use available when hardware acceleration.

Restart your chrome and it should work perfectly ==' reset the laptop for nothing

  • Re: NB550D - crackle speaker every few seconds

Hi, I hope someone can help me!

Whenever I use the speakers (especially for iTunes and youtube music) they crackle every few seconds. The audio just can't cope with the video. I tried to adjust the speaker settings and download an updated driver (the driver won't download and froze half way through half a dozen times). I don't know what else to try, but I had this particular netbook due to the opinion of speakers and capacity. I think that the problem is most likely related user!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thank you

    Hey,.

Did you notice the same problem when using external speakers or headphones?
What operating system you're using now?

It is not much what you can do, but try to update the audio driver. On the Web from Toshiba site, you can get a newer version of the audio driver:

  • Screen refreshes every few seconds

Computer model: HP Pavilion e040us 17

    Product: EOJ89UA #ABA

    Windows 8 (not 8.1)

My wife left her cell open and when she came back, she was asleep.  She tried it to wake up (hit the wrong key), got frustrated and held down the power button to turn off.  She doesn't think that updates have been applied since the screen was black

Now, once it is started, it can use one of the applications 'tiled' who do not use the desktop computer.  Once the office is open, the screen refreshes every few seconds.  The entire desktop goes blue, the desktop icons and background image disappear, and everything disappears from the system tray.  The system tray starts to rebuilds with the battery indicator, indicator of network, "speaker" icon, date & time, then all the rest of the system tray is back with the office (background image and all the icons).  In about 1 or 2 seconds, the cycle starts all over again.  I left the laptop that works thinking that something just needs to work to stand, but two hours later, it was still there.

If I press the windows key enough times, he swaps ends up back in the tile view, and then he begins to paint it too.  The screen goes blue and then everything comes back.

While this is the case, the only way to get the stop menu is ctrl + alt + delete.  Moving the mouse to the bottom right of the screen to bring up the menu of the settings does not work because the screen refreshes faster that you can click on the settings button.

I restart the computer in safe mode and it didn't happen.

I'm stumpped and really need help!

    Mark

    Hi, Mark.
I don't know if this will help, but for me, I used system refresh to restore my laptop to factory settings (but keep my documents) and the problem seemed to go away. Partially, I think it was because I was running Classic Shell for Windows 8.0 rather my 8.1 - Although may not be the problem, refresh the laptop seemed to work!

  • My computer is running "Windows XP stop critique.wav" sound every 10 seconds.

My computer is running "Windows XP stop critique.wav" sound every 10 seconds for the last 8 days.  Window XP SP3.  I spent 1-1/2 hours will dell workstation support and 1-1/2 hours with my computer work (shot as a favor to my personal computer) and they find nothing, MacAfee installed, updated several full scan virus.  A ran Malwarebyte s multiple crawls - nothing.  Kaspersky lab - nothing.  Computer work ran a vrius start-up detector and nothing.  No error log is generated.  And two technicians stop various folders in the Task Manager and NOTHING he did stop.  I was sent a disc of reinstalling XP SP3 Dell and I did a repair XP complete with no fix. Technician COMPUTER checked a bunch of stuff and thought it was "related to a driver."  Regardless of what is the cause, how do I find the problem and fix it.   Thank you

    @GarySibley:

Thanks for the comments, and I'm happy that you found.  Although I'm not surprised that an msiInstaller error could have caused a "critical stop" but I never thought that he would deliver the error never seconds.

    @JudsonWelcher:

I suggest you also check your event viewer to find errors msiinstaller.  I've seen other posts where a sound "critical stop" appears to be linked to these errors (but like I said above, not continuous repetitions of the error).

There is no easy way that I know to track this sort of thing.  Before you start the method of 'Clean boot' or start using the process monitor, open the sound control panel applet and scroll down to check that Windows XP stop critique.wav has not been assigned to certain events in addition (or instead of) a real stop critical Windows.

  • Lenovo Z500 turns off a few seconds after the round. He started for the second time.

    Hello

For several days my Lenovo Z500 is a strange problem. When I push the turn on button laptop starts up and shuts down after a few seconds when the windows logo appears. When I push again the button it starts fine with no problems.

I have a Windows Professional 10, everything was ok for a while and now I don't know how to solve my problem.

I'm going to enjoy all the ideas.

I thought to reinstall Windows, but maybe you know the solution to fix it.

P.S. I have the latest version of the BIOS installed.

    Kind regards

    Albert

I think I solved the problem.

Problem has been activated "quick start" in the power settings.

To turn off the quick start, follow these instructions:

    1. Open the start screen
    2. type po drank directly on the start screen (power buttons short for). It will take you directly to the applet "change what the buttons to" in the search results.
    3. Click on the link "Change settings that are currently unavailable" to put at the disposal of the shutdown options.
    4. Uncheck the enable (active)-quick start .
    5. That's all. Now the quick start feature is disabled.

Now everything works fine, z500 boots each time correctly with the first run.

    Thanks LenBlazer.
