Re: C7280 duplexing

Hi UM Ho.

HP once again, maybe this time with their large war Mircosoft boyfriend... Installed windows 7 (32 bit) and then teacher the c7280 as a network printer (as a fact that in Microsoft)... BIGGG SURPRISE... printer found, workx.  EXCEPT: to ensure that from Windows 7 and no one can complain about pop-ups that say you can't double-sided and if you say that the impression in any case it works, this driver comes to 'automatic' in duplex printing options! Only no, sidedbrochure manual and left/right are left... a small blip: If you pass in the printer HP properties to a profile property to another and then quickly move on two-sided printing, you're just able to see 'automatic' disappear...

Oh yes, the 7280 has a flow to the stack of paper, if you have a manual duplex?  Don't not without out all the paper...

Then, HP conviction IS on their Web page... go here: compatibility Windows 7 for HP stuff page

and you'll find a matrix, saying: C7280 driver included in windows 7 (for "sort" indeed a driver is there) and you can download it from HP (both checked green)... The HP page (follow the link at the bottom of page) DOES NOT show a selection of Windows 7...

Why the hell are we actually still our dear money on HP?  The entire industry IT wouldn't be better if they just went bankrupt? Just stop buying their ink and it will happen...

A simple solution: go into the folder printers, do a right-click on the C7280 printer properties device settings and set the unit double-sided "installed", OK.

I try to use duplex printing on this printer, but the software does not recognize the duplex unit.  I found a download (PS_AIO_02_100_009), which is supposed to solve the problem.  However, when I download the patch at HP, I get a message that the fix is not provided for 64-bit Windows 7 systems.  I know I fell on this topic about a year ago and there was a different patch available.  Anyone who has run into this or know where to get a download to make it work?

Thanks for anything you can tell me.

    Hello
Make sure that the automatic duplex printing option is enabled in the properties of the printer, and then search for a difference:

Enter the control panel > devices and printers.
Right-click the printer icon, and then click printer properties.
    Click the device settings tab.
As installed in Duplex Automatic Two-Sided accessory and then click OK to save the change.

Automatic duplex printing should now available.

  • HP Photosmart c7280 duplexing

I upgraded to Win 7 64 bit Vista.  I followed the instructions for installing the latest driver/software and everything works fine except automatic duplex printing.  It is for me unacceptable manual duplex and that is a concern for the re - loading in the paper tray when it has a duplex module.  I checked the previous messages dating back to 2009 and I can't find the double-sided display option to activate or install.  I did a custom install of Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit.  Does anyone know of a current approach that I could use?  My printer properties does not display the device settings as he goes to advanced and made adjustment see the steps to enable duplex printing.

I came across the solution and finally work.  As we have when you do properties don't forget to click on properties in the printer preferences. as it was mentioned in a post on previopus.  I thank the person who posted this solution earlier, but I didn't know at the beginning.  Thanks again.

  • No duplex option AUTOMATIC in Windows 7 for Photosmart C7280 software

I have the drivers & software installed on Windows 7 64 bit and I cannot set automatic duplex printing as I have in Win XP.

He appears briefly (for 1-2 seconds) in the print properties dialog box, and then disappears into the menu drop down.

    Someone at - it ideas?

The photosmart C7280 is not a switch to automatically detect the duplexor.  It appears the pilot 13 version is set by default to "not installed".

Try to go to the printer properties-> device settings tab.  The "Installation Options" value-> unit duplex (for printing on 2 sides): "installed".

Now you should find automatic 2 sided option in the shortcuts printing, the characteristics and the printing preferences tabs.

  • Windows 7 automatic duplex C7280 copy with drivers only Possible? How?

Photosmart C7280 all-in-One works on a Vista 64-bit machine using drivers only - no software.  However, I was able to do automatic double-sided copies of documents, and I was satisfied.

I just upgraded to Windows 7 64-bit on the same machine with the same printer and Windows 7 drivers only looked but found nothing.  All I could do was to download the whole software driver package but have not yet installed.

Windows 7 has detected the C7280 and installed the drivers only and I am able to print the pages apparently normally, except that automatic two-sided copying does not.  Double-sided to manually works pages by the instruction manual two-sided copying.

I just talk to HP technical support (technically not a free call) long enough to know that, for automatic two-sided copy of Windows 7, I have to install the complete package.  Some drivers for Windows 7 is not good enough.

I would like confirmation of this from anyone who knows how to be sure, there is not a way to get two-sided copy of work (or not) without having to install the software's 9-yard I don't need?

    Thank you.

Go devices and printers folder, right-click on the device C7200 printer properties settings and the value of the duplex unit installed.

  • What happened to the ease of automatic duplexing for the C7280 on W7 64 bit platform?

Having just upgraded to 64-bit Windows 7 platform, I am shocked to see that an automatic double-sided duplex printing option is not available.  The very unfriendly friendly agriculture is!

    Hello

Enter the control panel > devices and printers.

Right click on the HP Photosmart C7200 icon, and then click printer properties.

On the device settings tab, mark the two accessory duplex as installed, then you will see options to print double-sided.

And just to add, you have installed the full feature software? It allows the same functionality than XP or Vista.

If you do not installed the complete functionality, you can download it here:

The driver by default, what are "not installed."  You will need to go to the printer, preferences, settings of the device, Installable options and set the unit duplex "installed".  (Same problem in Vista).

  • Photosmart c7280 lost duplex in Win7 64 bit new PC

In Vista, it worked fine, but not in my new w7 64 bit PC.  I used the cd of driver win 7 you sent and

the results were the same when I downloaded it. No automatic duplex printing options given. Only manual.

How can I get this feature back?

    Hello

Its possible that the duplex is not enabled in windows 7 and you will have to activate it manually. GO to the control panel configuration, printers and devices, and right click on your printer icon. Choose 'Printer properties' on the menu drop down and go to the tab "Device settings" check if the duplex unit is installed behind it and if not set it to installed and click on apply. This should enable the duplex, if it doesn't work immediately, restart your computer.

  • C6280: Select Auto duplex printing

    Hello:
I use an HP running Windows Vista 32 bit Home Premium laptop.
I had already completely uninstalled my HP Photosmart C6280 all-in-one printer.
Today, I reinstalled it using the CD-ROM supplied with the printer.
When I went to print a MS Word document, I have not received the normal game
    Print settings/options to choose.
I could not choose automatic double sided printing: it was not in the drop-down list.

When I chose to print from the file menu of Word, a print dialog box open: this is the title was the HP Photosmart series 6200 Document properties. From within this framework, I chose:
Properties > tab shortcuts printing > general impression every day.
in the lower right of this Panel, is a menu drop down titled "print on both sides.
It offers the following options to select:
Off, manual, booklet from left edge, right edge booklet.
The "Automatic" option was missing from this list: previously it was manual above.
I don't remember if the border left/right options were there before.
Directly below this menu drop down is only for the selection of Orientation: Portrait or landscape.
So now I'm unable to print 2-sided automatic.
If I click on Duplex instead of General Everyday, I have briefly see the automatic word in the menu, but is replaced by manual. In addition, for this mode Duplex, Orientation drop me u is missing/hidden. I don't know if this is supposed to be that way.

The problem: why I have more option to automatic 2-sided printing?

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

HOWEVER, you CAN duplex from a computer hooked up wireless?

    ----------

The link to the Vista/Win 7Duplex printing troubleshooting guide does not work.

I have the same problem with my C7280 and Win 7. Originally, this computer was connected wireless, who apparently does not have an automatic duplex setting. (I had to reload the driver several times with the help of HP to properly operate wireless because the HP Solution Center was not available...) Anyway, I have now linked the computer to the C7280 by wire... and duplexing "automatic" is not available. " Where can I find the option "enable double-sided printing? Or do I have to uninstall and reinstall the driver again? Thanx

The duplexer should be available if wired or wireless.  The link for Vista/Win 7 Duplex Printing Troubleshooting Guide is here.  Sorry for the fault of previous hits, I've also updated the previous link.

For Windows 7, click Start, devices and printers, click with the right button on the settings of device Photosmart c7200 series printer properties and the duplex unit installed, apply the value.

  • How to automatically print on both sides of a sheet with C7280

How to set up the all-in-one Photosmart C7280 to automatically print on both sides of the page? I used to be able to do, but now I only get choices for

    Off

    Manual

    Booklet from left edge

    Booklet from right edge

'Manual' make me reload each page by hand in order to print the second side.

I recently had to reinstall the driver, and since then I can choose is no longer "automatic."

    Kind regards

    Martin

Right-click on the printer icon and click Properties. Click the device settings tab and search module duplex, or a printing accessory 2 faces and set it to "Installed" and apply the settings. Then you should get the automatic option.
