  So it may well be that some units have one unit of distance, others not... before buying a remote control, make sure that you check whether your device supports a control unit remotely.

  As far as I know that it is designed only for Microsoft Windows media player. If you start WinAmp I am sure that you will be able to change the volume level, but nothing more.

  Can not use the Wi - Fi connection. When you use "Free Config" to find peripheral wireless the popup "this connection is controlled by other software. I don't know what that means and what software controls the connection. I have other laptop which is duly connected by wireless. I'm ok with wired connection.

  You may not use the ConfigFree for configuring Wlan but own Vista configuration options or the WLan configuration tool like Atheros Clint Utility or Intel ProSet utility. It depends on the WLan card which utility can be used.
  Card Intel-> Intel ProSet utility; Card Atheros WLan-> Atheros Clint Utility

  I guess the message + this connection is controlled by other software + appears because one of the above options controls the WLan.

  If I understand you well you are not able to boot from the disk? Have you tried another disc? I mean it might be that the recovery disk is noisy or something else.

  To my knowledge, the Satellite P100-387 does not support the fingerprint reader and is not supplied with the remote control.
  But you're right.
  The fingerprints and the remote control are optional and some laptops in the P100 series support fingerprint reader and are delivered with command remotely.

  First remove the old webcam software. Reboot the laptop. Clean the registry and the system using the CCleaner (it of free). Reboot the laptop again one and then install the new software of webcam!

  Hi, how can I set my keyboard media controls that work in Windows Media Player to work also with Winamp or other player. You can easily change the button that opens the media, but I couldn't find any way to change the media controls ('Play', 'Pause', 'Stop', 'Next track' etc.) since when I try to change the program that uses only windows media player comes.

  Sorry, ca? s not possible to define this function in other applications. This Toshiba control only works with WMP (audio) and WinDVD (video).
