  Here's what I use and recommend: (all are free)

  Avast and Prevx proved extremely reliable and compatible with everything I threw at them.
  Microsoft Security Essentials and Prevx have also proven very reliable and compatible.

  Then use MSE or Avast and Prevx, Prevx and download Malwarebytes.

  Avast Home free - stop any shields is not necessary except away from Standard, Web and network is working.

  Prevx - Home - free

  Windows Firewall

  Windows Defender (is not necessary if you use MSE)

  Protected IE - mode

  IE 8 - SmartScreen filter WE (IE 7 phishing filter)

  I also IE always start with asset if filter InPrivate IE 8.
  (Sometimes you have to temporarily turn off with the little icon to the left of the + bottom right of IE)

  Avast - stop home - free - all shields you do no need except leave Standard, Web and network running.

  The E did not come with Ptunes, it came with Real Player. Our new devices come with Ptunes and no they do not have a 15 day trial. The license agreement with the company that makes the Ptunes does not have Palm this version by download result.

  If you are using windows, the time that you double-click this file, it would invite the user access control options (if it is not already turned on). Can you please try the following steps and suggest.

  (1) try to execute the file by right click > run as administrator.

  (2) make sure that the antivirus is disabled and does not cause a conflict.

  (3) also, right click and check the properties to make sure that this product does not seek to run in a compatibility mode.

  (4) if please reboot the machine and repeat step 1.
