Re: Equim P300-16 t - disconnect Internet

Hello

I'm disconnected from the internet every time I open Firefox 2/3, or run some programs that require windows internet, etc. of Pokerstars.
It is fine until I open a new window/program then my internet cutting out for about 30 seconds.

I have 20 GB of Virgin Media wireless.
My playstation 3 is never disconnected, so I know the problem is not with the access provider or router.

I never had this problem before I started to use wireless 6 months ~ there is.
As you can tell I'm naïve about this sort of thing.

Does anyone know of a driver I need or what settings need changed?

Any advice would be appreciated,

Thank you.

Hello

The laptop computer you disconnect using the LAN or WLan connection?
If you use the WiFi network, I recommend the update to the BIOS and the driver WLan.

I think you have a Realtek Wlan card. The most recent driver found on the page of Realtek.

Check it!

    Hello

I have Toshiba P300 with exactly the same problem, except that I use the included wireless Lan Adapter factory. I do not use external modems directly connected to the P300. All parameters controlled, disconnected firewall, AVG linkscanner disabled. XP works perfectly that this laptop with Vista has a curious problem.

Every now and then (from 2 minutes to 2 hours) access will increase to local access only and sometimes (without reboot or repair). In other cases, only the http (IE) traffic stops (cannot display the Page) work while mail is accessible.

I am desperate because nobody has any idea. Please can someone help me?

    Thank you Patrick

    Hello

You should update the Vista in the last State and should also update the BIOS and Wlan driver!
The WLAN driver update is required.

I put t have an idea of what Wlan card you have, but the drivers are located on the Toshiba Wlan driver page:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/

either directly on the WiFi card manufacturer site.

If this problem does not appear usign Win XP, then it must be a Vista or Vista Wlan driver problem

  • SE connect/disconnect Internet using a command prompt

    original title: to connect/disconnect Internet

Is it possible to disconnect & reconnect my internet connection of cable to a command line in Windows XP?

    Hey John,

I don't know if there is a way to disable the internet connection to the modem or the router by command-line in windows. There is probably a way to disable the network adapter on the local computer through command line, but myself I do not know what commands to use.
I know, however, that if you drop your IP address, your connection will be terminated. You can do it in the command line by using the command "ipconfig/release" without the quotes. This will minimize your IP address causing your connection down.
You can bring it to the top by renewing your IP address. This can be done in the command line by using the command "ipconfig / renew" again without the quotes.
Note * I believe that you must be a system administrator to run these commands.
Now, I'm sure that's not the best way to do it, but it will certainly do the job.
    I hope this helps.
  • Desktop Windows 7 disconnects Internet after going sleep

Need help. My office disconnects internet connection on another every second or third time base when he falls asleep. Sometimes I can reconnect suite Microsoft connect steps, other no times, no luck. When the icon on the bottom toolbar to connect is blue, I can reconnect. When it is yellow I have to restart the computer to connect again. Sometimes, the error message will indicate that Local network connection cannot be found. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot for your help.

    Hey Herbert,

From the description of the problem, I can understand that your computer disconnects from internet when it goes into sleep mode.

    1. Do you use the wired computer / wireless?
    2. Have made recent changes to your computer?

Your network card is currently put to sleep in sleep mode.

I suggest you follow the steps below to disable network adapter power management feature and check if it helps to solve the problem.

    1. Click Start
    2. Right click on computer
    3. Click on manage the
    4. Click Device Manager in the left pane of the window
    5. Expand the network card.
    6. Now you will see your network adapter or adapters if you have more than one. Right-click on the network component, and then click Properties.
    7. Go to the power management tab.
    8. Make sure all boxes are unchecked and click OK and restart your computer.

HP Photosmart 6520 guard disconnect internet, which makes it useless and driving me crazy! It will only connect if I turn it off, then disconnects after a short period. I followed the advice on the forums to support without success. My router has been checked and is fine. I put a static IP as advised. Please can you help.

Hi Sabretooth and PhilRi. Four weeks and everything was fine. Think he knew I was going to accept as a solution when he decided to drop again! Verified hub and he had changed the SSID for 5 Ghz. must have had an update. I decided just to disable 5 GHz as it is useless for current devices. 2 weeks and all beautiful. Have noticed that since I disabled 5 GHz devices are much faster! Better all round. Thanks again for all the support.

  • Static IP address on the server 2008R2 disconnecting Internet

Please help with a static IP configuration on VMware.

I would like to configure Active Directory on VMware with FULL INTERNET AND IP ADDRESS, please help.

    Scenarios

I use VMware on Windows 8.1 10 and that's what strikes me:

    1. After installing server 2008R2 on VMware and the activation of the "Connection NAT" network card, I had full access to the internet.
    2. 1920168.5.2 to server static IP address assignment disconnect internet.
    3. Add more network on the server to reconnect to the internet but removes the static IP address.
    4. Even the bridge two network cards, I still get internet access.
    5. Active directory cannot be installed on a dynamic IP address
    6. I connect using wireless (my cell phone as a modem).

Your help will be greatly appreciated

After following your instructions, I discovered that VM DNS is 192.168.111.2. Both the DNS and gateway uses the same IP address, DNS is indeed the gateway to NAT. la... 111... changes when you reset the VM machine. Also, I discovered that the DHCP of the VM is 192.168.111.128 as you put it. Now place the Client Server on the same network of VM IP, thus, take the given dynamic IP 192.168.111.128/129/130/131 etc, make it static. Assigning 192.168.111.2 as gateway and DNS, provides access to the internet. However, after configuring Active directory member servers will not find the domain controller uses the DNS of VM.  Instead, insert the IP of the VM DNS as secondary preferred over the IP of the DNS server (for example, DC1, DC2 mem1 etc.) in the preferred DNS. Then... VOALA... Is set with full internet access.

It was a challenge to the calm, but I give you the thumbs up for your lead. You are the best.

  • MacBook Pro disconnects Internet randomly

    Hi friends,

I have a Macbook Pro of the retina (11.3 end 2013) gives me a headache with WiFi at home.

In my Studio, where I have another internet provider, it works well, but in my house is disconnect randomly.

I have an apple TV, two ipads, an iphone and a macbook, all very well without any problem of internet work.

I rechecked the domains DNS and TCP/IP to be exactly like the other MacBooks, which works very well. The only number that is different is the last of the IPv4, which I think is great because it shows the different device IP address. This number changes whenever I am connected, according to the other connection of both devices. Whenever I tried the Configurator wizard get correct for a few minutes, and then internet connection disappears again.

So, what can cause this problem? Why I have a solid connection in my studio and not at home? Why the other macbook is great if I have the same values TCP/IP and DNS? The internet provider, I called and they told me that they work with IP and dynamic DNS, so it's good to let them 'automatic', which is what I use.

    Any help appreciated.

    Pablo

Please do the following and after each test to see if the problem is resolved - if yes, then you can omit the following steps - I tried to list them in ascending order of the effort at least on a Mac and / or an iDevice

    1. Check if the problem is related to a single device and if other devices connect normally-
    2. If the answer 1 is 'yes' - try to connect the device assigned to somewhere else if possible - coffee or the University
    3. Settings - WiFi - < network name > - Click on forget network - do a restart forced according to 3 and then add again the network
    4. If home - reboot the router by unplugging it for 60 seconds (power) and the plug and reconnect - obviously, this step can be done in a public place like a cafe or airport or University. While you're there - make sure your router is working on the latest firmware (check manufacturer's website)
    5. Hold the pointer over the WiFi icon - click Option and then press the icon - run diagnostics of WiFi
    6. If no problem - let it run in the background and see if it detects something
    7. While you're there - make a snapshot of the gray matter and post it after deletion of personal information
    8. An appointment of 'Genius' to an Apple Store, or select another authorized service provider.
  • Disconnect Internet

    Satellite P30 - Windows XP
Initially using Tiscali dial up - all is ok no problems.
Tried to install the WIFI router to AOL (for support work) - failed miserably so should all the re - install notebook software.
Now internet dial up disconnects after 2 or three minutes, anyone know why? Will the re - install removed all parameters?
The telephone dialler status is always connected, but PC is re-numbering? am at my wits end.
    Any advice would be welcome.

    Hello

What you mean with re - install software notebook exactly? Have you used the Recovery DVD to reinstall the OS? If Yes, in this case the own operating system is installed on the HARD drive.

Your ad is a bit confused and I know exactly what you want to do and how you try to establish a dial-up connection (using windows dial-up or some AOL software).
To establish the WIFI connection to the router, you can use the WLAN Windows settings or WLAN client, but in this case the option WLAN Windows MUST be disabled. Be very careful about this.

If you use the WIFI connection to the router you n t need any kind of dial-up connection. The connection will be established automatically by the router.

  • Satellite P300 - not more than internet with Vista

    Hello

I have a big problem since a few days on my P300 with Vista. I can't connect to the internet. I have not install anything and I don't surf in dangerous sites so I don't understand what that append. I don't know if an automatic release of windows or antivir can do to this problem.

I have antivir and firewall of the window. I unplugged everything, but it still does not. I have a disc whith linux external. I boot top and internet is ok. If the modem and network card good work.

On vista, I have reset tcp/ip and windsock, but it's still bad. I initialize the registry with a PATCH and it's the same thing.

So I don't know what to do now.

If someone knows this problem please help me.

    Hello

First of all we should talk; How you want to connect to the internet.
Have you tried a LAN or WLan connection?

Have you checked your router settings?

  • Equim has 200 - 15I: network - Internet connectivity

    Hi all

Just joined the forum. Its great

I have a Toshiba Virgin! I have an Equim A 200 - 15I I bought a month ago. It was working fine. Since, however, this week, I'm not able to connect to the internet. IAM on Vista Premium.

Connectivity shows that I am connected to the LAN or WLAN (if I use an ethernet cable). However, I am not connected to the internet. The small blue icon (such as the map of the world) isn't here although the network icon says "connected". Evrrytime I open IE, the display shows 'page not available '.

Ive has run the diagnostics - ok. Device Manager indicates NICs (lan and wlan) are working properly. At the command prompt, I renewed the IP parameters... still no luck

Help, please... Is it a hardware problem (as I still guaranteed him)

    Thank you very much

For me, it seems that the router abandon themselves. Restart your router, and then try again.

  • Router disconnects Internet duringWindows download

    Question is interesting

Earlier when I download torrents, internet connection would be lost. I first thought that my ISP didn't like what I was doing and they were etc. Router must be manually restarted because it works again.

In any case now, the router will disconnect when windows update download begins. If I stop windows download and restart the internet router is back to normal. I can't explain and you will notice that people have reported this in the past but were not answered.

We hope to get useful information.

  • Disconnects Internet: dv6tselect edition and DLINK DIR-615

I have an edition select dv6t entertainment PC with the factory installed Intel Wireless-N card and a DLINK DIR 615 wireless router.  Everything works well until another one of our home computers (wired or wireless) is enabled.  This causes the HP laptop to disconnect from the Internet (sometimes the computer will indicate that it is connected, but the icon symbol suggests it is not connected.)  We have a Dell and a HP PC, a Dell laptop, two i-Pads and a mini i - Pad who get along fine with the internet.  It seems that HP may be the connection more low and is always the first to be disconnected.

I am not particuarly tech savy, but if you have a good solution that I can print and take with the laptop to someone who is tech savy to repair or adjust, I would be very grateful.

Use Windows Device Manager, not a Bill. Unfortunately, I can't find a specific driver with the information you have provided in your last post. This way you will know exactly what that says Windows is installed. See the following example of my current Envy17-ready 3002ea book. Through the Device Manager, I see that this laptop has Intel Centrino Ultimate-N6300 AGN wireless card.

Remember that if you know that there is an installed Intel device you can always go to the Intel Download Center and find the best driver for the device. It is only if the Download Center is in place. This is not always the case.

  • WRT54GS Wireless Router recently started disconnecting Internet connection after 9 months

Hello, I have read some and see that it is a problem common but of are to be decided.

    I have a Lynksys WRT54GS with the latest Firmware update v7.2 27 July 2009 (FW_WRT54GSv7.2_7.2.07.013_EN_20090727)

I ran 2 desktop computers as well as my DVR security by the security cameras for remote monitoring, also portable hook upward wireless sometimes as well without any problem using this router for over 9 months now with no problems until the last few days... I never log out and leave it on 24/7 for 9 months without problem and now recently I had to pull on the power cord from the back of the router and reconnect it to re power on the router to establish an internet connection.

Now the last 3 days the router loses its internet connection each monutes a few... hours... the time it disconnects are random moments and I have the programs I need to run all day but can't because the router loses its connections...

I applied the firmware again... re factory - configure the router... rebooted the computer... tried cloning the MAC address... all seem to be doing nothing... the same problem still exists.

All of the minutes or hours so it disconnects the interent.

I ran the office computer directly to the DSL Modem and I'm online very well with a desktop computer without disconnections for hours and hours (18hrs to date is not a problem), so I know this isn't the access provider. I had this problem I believe before with a previous Lynksys router and then bought it and now after this short period it seems to do the same thing again with this one. What a pain in the but.

    All solutions and more...

    Re application firmware... then

factory re set the router... then

re - connect computers as if it were a new router... the MAC address cloning? Geezus... it must be one simple solution other then buy another brand router.

    Thanks in advance...

What is the IP address, find the modem directly...? Connect the computer directly to the modem and check the ip address? What is the ip address, you get the router...?

Try the following settings on the router and check the connection...

-Change the channel to 11-2 wireless, 462 GHz

-Under the Advance wireless settings tab, change the tag at 50, Fragmentation threshold to 2304, interval RTS threshold to 2304

  • Random disconnects Internet, Sony VAIO, Vista Home Premium 64-bit

I'm on a desktop VAIO with Windows Vista Home Premium 64 - bit, connection to the internet through a linksys wireless router. Although all of the other computers in my house connects perfectly (two macbooks, an Asus laptop, an xbox 360, a desktop Dell computer), this computer constantly disconnects, usually when it has not been used for a few hours or more.  It seems to happen when the computer enters mode 'sleep', but I don't know yet.  What happens is the small internet icon in the lower right shows a yellow exclamation mark above her symbol and indicates that the computer has limited connectivity (it's less than 30 feet from the router and the mac just beside it works perfectly).  Other times, it seems to be entirely connected, but there is no internet access.  The only way to solve this problem is to restart the computer, or, as I discovered it recently, "diagnose and repair" and choose "reset the adapter" to solve the problem.  It's a minor annoyance until I have start downloading large files, during which I pray that the computer remains connected.

    ·                         Go to the website of the manufacturer of your router > make sure you have the latest Firmware in Vista for it.

Go to the website of the manufacturer of your computer/notebook > drivers and downloads Section > key in your model number > look for it last network adapters Vista drivers > download/install the.

    Try without commitment TCP/IPv6:

If you still have internet connection probs, one thing to try is the separation of the TCP/IPv6 (which is done by going to network connection > right click > properties > it uncheck > OK.)
