  Miss me a notification app on my Asus laptop icon.   I don't think that there is an API for this for 4.5 and below. Your Pearl 8100 with OS 4.5 can display the icon notification such as incoming messages and calls because they were developed using the internal API of RIM which are not exposed to third-party developers.

  We thank very you much. I found the ApplicationIndicator class in the SDK of 4.6. However, I am currently a development with the BlackBerry Curve, so I guess I can't use since curve has only 4.2.2 API.

  BTW, where can I find a list of devices BlackBerry supporting SDK 4.6 and higher? I will ask my manager in order to buy one of these and try it. Thanks again,
