Re-installing xp-pro/sp3 with repair option, breaks down, unable to activate XP,

Initially, it was suggested that I use the original installation CD to reinstall my copy of XP/Pro on my laptop.
original problem was that my wifi card would not work.  Not at all.

In any case, I read not (before..) to save files of activation from the directory windows\system32 (wpa.dbl) of the system, (ugh...)

I started in cd, said install,.
He finds a partition (d:\windows), set up a repair
(I assume that it started with the CD in the drive c :)...))

Then they gave me the following loverly error message:

Product activation Windows (window title)

A problem has prevented Windows exactly check the status of your license for this computer.
This copy of Windows is not active.

To continue your copy can be activated musdt with Microsoft Now.

You wish to proceed?  Yes/No.

It (even if I do nothing) then proceeds to reboot after 30 seconds...

and no, I can't in 'normal' mode or in safe mode, but I can switch to trunk/command line mode.

Now. I also followed an article of $ m to try to disable cause scripts preventing activation of the race.

SO no I'm up the proverbial Creek without a paddle, as the system starts.

Help, please...

(I did however save the wpa.dbl dating back to 2008 (and restored the just), then maybe it stops at least again... auto-redémarrer)
just rebooted in 'normal' mode, once again, and he says:
Yes, the reviews, but just reset the system again...

Help?

at least if I could get in turn on in safe mode, I might be able to solve this problem...

Finally I was able to solve the problem of Windows Product Activation. It's a long story, which might have summer cut short with good knowledge about the system so I'll share some thoughts and I hope to help someone else.

No doubt - a new clean install of Windows XP may be the best option to choose, and the quickest way to walk for a Windows XP system work - that is, not talk about data and especially - applications that need to be reinstalled, reactivated, configured, customized, etc.. That's exactly, what held me to the top of a table shaved installation of Windows XP.

This fixation error is pretty easy, if you know what to do - find out what actually works, yet. As some of you may have experienced, even Ctrl + Alt + Del and the Task Manager are out of the picture. Curiously, after having the system sitting there for a while, I noticed that the timer is still running. And this knowledge has created an opportunity access key.

I went back and started Windows XP mode safe mode with command prompt. Note: This is the only boot option, you have to access the system as an administrator (Safe Mode or the network will not work, because they both rely on Explorer [the office], which does not either.) Therefore, work with the command prompt. Once you have access to it, you can access the Scheduler with "AT". I downloaded "MS_WindowsXP_KeyUpdateTool_enu.exe" Microsoft web site and set the Scheduler to run this application. I then rebooted the system in normal startup mode. Once the error message comes up again (what was expected after login), I chose 'Yes', which we know is not anything but do not register a new. After some time, the recording of "MS_WindowsXP_KeyUpdateTool_enu.exe" window came and gave me the opportunity to enter the product key Windows XP system. After I had re-recorded with success, I had to reboot and the system is running.

Please keep in mind that some services were still not running. The automatic update of windows would not start or the BITS (Background Intelligent Transfer) service, which is required to run Windows updates successfully. To fix that, I did an energetic reapply Windows XP SP3, which fixed nearly all the questions and the known system was running like a charm. I did have to worry about data or programs that had to be reinstalled and reconfigured custom. Any income in the order as expected.

Good luck to all!

    Hello Justuslonginus,

Thank you for your message.  What is the brand of your computer?  It could be that your computer manufacturer has a required update before installing SP3.  You should check with them before moving to the next steps.  After checking with you computer manufacturer, try to run the new hardware wizard to scan.  The instructions are below:
Click "Start" > click on "Control Panel" > double-click "Add Hardware".
Answer that the device is already connected and allow the system to scan.
If your system has not yet found your drive.  Then we can remove SP3 to see if it was the culprit.  Click HERE for instructions to remove the SP3.

    Hi Lou,

From what I remember on one of my old printers (Deskjet series F), was that labour costs for fixing very old printers were very high. It was about 1-2 years ago, and even at the time the store, I went to wanted $200 (and no guarantee that it would work ) so I just checked the local flyers from places like Staples and Office Depot and waited about 2 weeks, then got a good deal on an Officejet 6500 a. Much better option that spend $ 200 to fix a printer that initially costs only $50

    Hello

We bought Acrobat Pro XI (volume license for 5 users account).

The software has been installed 5 times, but after the trial period, they could not be activated.

Adobe support said, we use Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition. See case #0210629850

We have downloaded ApplicationManagerEnterprise_3_1_all.exe and installed it.

When you run the program, there was a mistake. "There is no valid installer found."

In German "Es konnte kein gueltiges Installationsprogramm werden found."

We use as Installer "AcrobatPro_11_Web_WWMUI.exe", as it was provided to us on the download site.

We also use an original adobe-CD install 'Adobe Acrobat Pro XI. The same error.

Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition will not work in this case, instead use Acrobat Customization Wizard to customize Acrobat Pro XI.

If I open a browser on the XP workstation which is a failure, I can go to https://dd-view.viewdomain.com.  It displays the page that I need to connect with View Client. What do I think, so this should check the connectivity between the two.

I've seen customer 5.1.0 build-704644 installed on my Windows XP SP3 client computer

My connection to the server is running 5.1.1 build-799444 and is configured with a pool of offices 25 clone related with SSL active

LAST IMPORTANT NOTE: I have the same version of the Client view (5.1.0 build-704644) installed on another Windows 7 workstation on the same subnet and it connects to my view connection server office pool very well.

I tried to install the three versions of the customer view of this system of XP SP3 including the latest version, when the connection after installation, they all fail the same way. My body needs to function. The client machines can not move to something more recent to Windows XP SP3 because I am not the administrator for them.

Any ideas?  Is this a bug or is Windows XP SP3 just not supported with view 5.1?

It is probably not the modem firmware, although it could be that the modem driver is corrupted.  In both cases, however, a visit to the site of the manufacturer of the modem is in order.

Exactly how did you determine that the modem is working properly?
Have you looked in the Device Manager?
Have you used the 'button interrogate modem' tab of the property sheet for the modem ' Diagnostic'?
Have you tested a data connection using HyperTerminal?  If you do not know the phone number of a "Bulletin Board" (apparently some of these still exist) or the IP address of a server telnet, just to open HyperTerminal and see if you can dial any phone other than the line number to which your modem is connected.
