Re-intsaller after crash

My computer crashed I rebooted xp then upgraded, but now I get a message saying that some other computer
continuing my Vista and it will not activate it?

This is the previous installation (which you activated before) that appears during activation - what is happening.

If you can not activate by using Automation (as seems to be the case here), do the following: to activate manually, go to start, search and type in slui 4 and enter.  Enter your country and press Next.  You will be on a screen with a phone number and a bunch of codes below.  Dial the number and browse automatic guests until you get to a human being.  Have your handy product code because it will be asked.  Explain the situation, but it's the same PC.  They should give you a code to enter on this screen to activate Vista.

I hope this helps.

Good luck! Lorien - MCSA/MCSE/network + / A +.

  • Screen 5600ea - completely black HP Omni 10 after crash while on the remote desktop connection

    I hope someone can help me with this.

    I had updated my Omni 10 to Windows Pro 8.1 so that I can Office remotely on my tablet on my work lan to get the benefits of the 2013 Office (we have not this version to work) on my work PC.

    Anyway, while it is connected to my 10 Omni via desktop remotely my Omni 10 crashed after connecting a USB drive that is powered via a USB OTG adapter. I used the front adapter without any problem with the USB card readers bus-powered and also the Lan USB card so I know it works, and the outlet powered USB hard drive works on my PC without any problem.

    The Omni disconnected from the remote desktop, and I guess it crashed, but the screen is black even when I hold down the power button and wait for the vibration (which usually means that it is set to zero).

    There is nothing displayed on screen, my work PC is unable to connect via Remote Desktop, and any number of power cycles seems to relive.

    I tried with the attached Omni 10 charger and without.

    There is no HP logo involve restarting at any point, but the Windows key infiltrates a vibration when I push on it.

    While enjoying the fact that the Omni 10 comes with the base Windows 8.1 and not Pro so I changed the configuration it worked fine for a few weeks since the installation.

    Pointers on getting this thing to life would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    I returned to the store that I bought, and they sent to HP for warranty repair.

    28 days ago so I went back to the store and they gave me a brand new boxed 10 Omni processor.

    When I got home I installed the driver and Windows updates. I noticed that the WiFi reception was really bad, even right next to my router, and the cameras had lines on the screen and the pictures that I took.

    The next day I went back to the store and they said all that and they initially said that I have to wait another 28 days, while it went for repair. When I said that this was not acceptable, they gave me a full refund of the amount that I had paid and used that to purchase a Pro of Microsoft Surface.

    The Microsoft Surface Pro is fast, well doneand more importantly everything works.

    Then you should download Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit .iso and the correct version of Office 2010 that should be in my wiki Microsoft Downloads:

    Many many people have this problem when I talk to others. Miscrosoft compromises our computers so we would have to buy new ones?
    They know there is a problem and they don't even try to find a solution for this. In this economy, they force people to buy new computers, they will just leave people blocked company becase NOBODY takes the phone, if you do not have email, people don't keep in touch, if you are not on a social network or business networking nobody will know your business, you won't make any money nobody reads the ACTUAL newspapers these days, everybody reads the news on the internet. They only hurt people, they are forcing anyone to buy a new computer, people just can't afford it. Hundreds of thousands of people can barely keep their utilities on. In doing so I wish they will reconsider. I am disabled I will definitely cut if my computer goes down for good.

    Can we do any smell that?

    There are also a lot that I need to run startup until the restoration. Windows restarts after the crash of the blue screen, I reinstalled windows twice, it works fine until I have start to install all updates. I have only installed MSE and it still happens. I lost all my music I paid a lot of money for, my paintings for children, important documents, all because I had to reinstall windows twice now.  I may have to reinstall them once more and I do NOT wish to install the updates again. He really never stops until I installed updates to windows. I thought that if I use the programs from Microsoft that it will work, because after all, it's all done by the same company, but no, nothing works. I am so in the sincere real despair. Be alone without technical skills, hardly what actually on my disability check, now I'm going to cut everyone. Now I can't do ANYTHING without it crashing, nothing fun anyway. I tried Microsoft fix, I tried so many solutions. I paid for Adobe photoshop, because I like to draw things and I'm terrified to install it. I'm afraid to do anything fun or useful on this computer.

    If I can afford a new computer at any time, I think I will try Apple, I lost my trust in Windows. Unless they make an effort to solve this problem, then I would give them a chance again, but not if they will try to help. I'm so frustrated. I spend a lot of money on this computer, it's an ENTERTAINMENT laptop and I get not very amused.

    What is going on?

    Hello

    Could be heat related - try using a small fan to blow into the air intakes to see if that helps.
    It is just like it loses power or stop it in the normal way? Heat associated
    does not necessarily mean excessive heat, it could be something is too sensitive to the same
    normal levels of heat. Also a computer will produce more heat as is pointed out how adding
    software or updates, among other measures, causes it. Of course those actions should not
    cause enough stress or heat to shut down the computer.

    For a laptop on everything that you can do is reinstall the memory and clean the ventilation openings (still may try to add
    a small fan as a test). Of course first remove all power.

    This sounds like material so if the above does not help you then probably need help
    a real computer store (not the leeks and the glances at a Best Buy or other stores) or the
    Support of system Maker.

  • Restoration after crash

    I had a system crash earlier that would not allow the opening of windows. Automatic repair would not work after several attempts so I had to restore the original settings. He asked if I wanted to create backups of things like pictues and internet settings and I did and copied to the disk. Now that I'm ready to put back them in the system... I can't understand what to use to read the disc to put them in. What should I use to play the disc in order to get this valuable information in my system?

    :(

    Mark

    This backup Option would have been given to you during the process of recovery back to factory settings

    This recovery Process (including the Backup) would be part of the process of recovery of the manufacturer of the computer.

    You'd have to ask them how to reinstall the data after the use of their backup process.

  • Reinstall Windows Vista Premium after Crash

    I have a Sony VAIO computer that crashed to the point that the original Windows Vista Home Premium could not be reached through the partition.  I brought my computer to the service and it came with Windows Vista Home and Hungarian that I live here in Hungary (bought the computer with its program in the States) so my question is - how can I reinstall the windows came with my computer.  Of course, I have the PID on the underside of the computer. ???  Can someone help me? -This is a public forum so never post private information such as numbers of mail or telephone!

    Ideas:

    • Error messages
    • Recent changes to your computer
    • What you have already tried to solve the problem

    Contact Sony Vaio and get the recovery disks CORRECT on their part in proper English and reinstall Vista Home Premium.

    Or, take where you guessed it Serviced and REQUEST that the relocation of fact in the appropriate language.

    Do NOT play with 3rd Party Software, when you've already paid for a Vista ENGLISH Home Premium version...

    Here are the General steps to acquire Recvoery Media:

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    http://eSupport.Sony.com/Perl/select-System.pl?PRODTYPE=1, 24,26,66,9,70,5,72

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.
    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
    Then machine again, I'm immediately went to Windows update to ensure that it was up-to-date & then had "Windows 7 Build 7601, this copy is not genuine."  Had been authorized for about the last 7 months.
    Have tried to change the key product & scoring even once again.  As well as the uninstall & reinstall it again once, but no change.
    I already download Win10 install files when the option popped up;  Maybe I should have completed the installation. Although it may have failed.
    Anyway, here, is out of the tool of diagnosis of MGA.   I hope someone can advise:
    Thanks in advance.
    I spoke with MS support.  The representative has essentially kept repeating that the product key was not for home/use; later mentioned he has a license of the company & had been used several times.
    However, he had no answer to come as to how is it this had been works well for 8 months & problems have emerged since my start/disk/registry problems.
    It takes time for this abuse be detected by Microsoft because it is a Multiple Activation key (a lot of PC have or will have the same problem) that very probably activated too many times (each key has an activation limit)
    I also tried to find more information as to where the key was first used / details of other activations (in the case where was my repeated recent attempts during the activation/validation was just suspended);  but only repeated representative key is blocked.
    They may not know / have a record of when it has been used first.
    Y at - it other advice? My Win7 installation has been very recently posted just grab the update Win10 install files;   However, I'm guessing that it's probably not worth trying to go down that path right now?
    Since you have not a valid Windows 7 key from the upgrade of Windows 10 can install but most probably (but not immediately) detects the invalid key and also go "(Non authentique)."
    Of course, if it turns out that I need to splash £100 on a 'get genuine' license then I will - but was hoping to get data confirming the situation [seems that my previous purchase by Amazon will not get any farther].
    If this MAK key was purchased by a third party seller to Amazon for their web site at Amazon report. At the very least, they should block / prevent the seller by using their (Amazon) web site.
    Or else I'll watch Win8.1 (& get top of what to Win10 update as soon as possible) or Win10 at home; Although I had barely begun to use Win7 XP!
    Since you said that you have an aging PC I would stick with Windows 7 (support ends January 14, 2020).
    One thing, you can try if you are still interested Windows 10 (after the backup of your important data files is to install Windows 10 via the GWN icon on the taskbar or the media download: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 )
    This will tell you at least if Windows 10 fully supports (graphics, Audio, keyboard and mouse, access Internet, etc.) your PC.
  • Cannot close the game after crash
    Skyrim crashes on me and usually on Windows 7, you can bring the task to the top manager and force close. However, the game covers the screen, without giving in to display the Task Manager. It opens, but it is behind everything. You can still access the Metro interface, but it is not necessary for this situation.
    Even raise the command run and trying to force close does not work.
    Hi SonicHyuga,
    Also, if you go to the prior Task Manager when running it but above all questions then click on Options, always on top.
    This should help in trying to use the Task Manager after a problem.
    I hope this helps!
  • AutoRecover off itself after Crash
    Hello world.
    I've been using Illustrator and it crashed unexpectedly. I then loaded it upwards and it crashed again, but this time it crashed when loading the recovered files. He then put a message saying Illustrator is cutting AUTOMATICALLY recovery and then deleted the files recovered. Essentially, even if it files retrieved the first time, it failed the second time because she turns out recover itself. How it is something, I don't know, but here's my questions are:
    1. where are located the recovery files? I checked the folder in the settings of recovery, but it is empty.
    2. is there a way to recover this work?
    I use a MAC BTW.
    I can't believe that a professional product which announces such a feature would allow him to work that way.
    Thanks in advance for any help that anyone can give.
    There are two types of files involved in this.
    The real recovery file: this isn't a file of default, but really HAVE a specific file type, which must be processed by the algorithm of recovery. You can't just open.
    Some kind of database file or something.
    These files are only present when there is something to recover. After recovering files or removes them when crashing again Illustrator puts at least somewhere else.
    If you want to play safe: try the Autosaviour plugin. There is a free version available. It saves files HAVE real.
  • Recovery after crash OS project
    How can I save my cc edition of the 2015 project after a crash of pc windows 7 OS, with need to reinstall windows. 1 year of work on the project. Can only use mode safe with very paralyzed capabilities. Cannot open even first pro. Get online. Files open to see etc...
    Duplicate, SEE ALSO DUPLICATE LOCKED save project task after os crash
    If you can access the files, then Yes, you can copy on an external drive.  You will probably have to repeat them after reinstalled the operating system, even if you put them in the same location.
    Make sure you copy all the media used in the project, but also the project files.  If you have plug-ins, they will be reinstalled as well.
    I copy on two different hard disks so that you have a backup if you yet did a backup.  You can also get to do a disk after reinstall image so that you can avoid having to reinstall if this happens in the future.
