Re: No reading on Satellite L305-5894, Realtek HD Audio Microphone

To the right:

I had the problem after two days.

I bought a microphone so I can register on my computer, but when I plug the microphone I can't hear myself through the speakers (which, in the past, I was always able to do on other machines and the previous operating system), even if I am able to register and listen to the recording.

Unfortunately, being unable to hear yourslef all kind of defeats the purpose, you have no way to monitor your recording levels. I bought a USB mic yesterday, could not make it work, thought it was the problem, he's back today and bought an analog microphone, but I'm still having the same problem.

I spent countless hours trying to find a solution, a solution and have developed with nothing else that a player who shows my voice through the speaker, but with a delay of 1 second. Obviously, if an application can process the microphone of the inputs and outputs for the speakers, then Toshiba AND/OR Realtek should being able to provide a solution for the problem of not having read microphone through the computer's speakers when using a microphone, something that I HAVE NEVER COME ACROSS on ANY OTHER MACHINE or with any other card her I HAVE NEVER USED.

I'm literally begging for a solution to this problem. I'm SURE it can be fixed. Help, please.

Thank you.

Hello

It s a series of Toshiba laptops we so I m not very good on the same parameters.
But I have a laptop with a Realtek HD audio chip and Panel, there is a Realtek HD audio Manager utility.
Here, you can change some related settings the microphone and speakers.
In the upper right corner, you might find 'Advanced settings', which controls the plug mic

I recommend you play with these options

  • Problem of storage space satellite L305-S5962 HARD drive when installing XP

    Hello

Last week, I ordered two TOSHIBA Satellite L305-S5962 for my children and finally happened yesterday.
I was so glad that I found all drivers XP needed for it on Toshiba USA website, however something weird happened when I went to install XP over there.

It came with preloaded Vista and while under Vista, I checked the HARD drive space it is said about 250 GB (240 - ish), but during the installation blue screen boot XP it read C 131 GB only partition.
So, if you round up to about 130 GB, where the other 90 GB's?

This problem has happened to these two Toshibas, and read the two HDD substantially the same.
In Vista, it reads close to 250 GB, but when installing XP blue screen (once I turn off the AHCI setting in BIOS) it reads at 131 GB. Is this some kind of driver issue? or to issue OS with AHCI?

On the Toshiba site there are two HARD drive drivers, are a .exe and the other a .zip file.
I tried both in the XP installation CD of nLite, but it does not help.
It still reads GB 131, so now I have no idea what to do, or maybe I have something wrong during the splicing of nLite?

In any case, if anyone has some insight on this problem, please let me know.

    Thank you!

    -G.P.

P.S. Here is the link to site from USA, for XP SP2/SP3 drivers, HARD disk drivers.

Even once, if someone has seen, thank YOU!

    > I checked disk space HARD it is said about 250 GB (240 - ish), but during the installation blue screen boot XP it read the partition C 131 GB only.

The HARD disk is partitioned into 3 partitions.
The first partition contains OS preinstalled; Vista
The second partition contains the image of Toshiba HDD and the last third partition is hidden. It s a small partition created by Vista and it contains the backup files. These files can be used if something goes wrong with Vista OS or if Vista needs to be repaired.

So I guess you've seen only the first partition that contains the operating system Vista

  • Satellite L305-S5939: bridge & Speedboost Vista card media adapter

I just bought a Satellite L305-s5939 and forgot to consult it when I bought it.
Before I opened the box, I wanted to understand two things.

First of all, what is a bridge of media card adapter?
He said that this computer has one on the specifications.
This means - it is not built in and I have to put the adapter whenever I want to use?

Second adapter of this type does not allow the use of Speedboost for Vista.
I just assumed that all laptops had standard built in memory card readers, but it read adapter bridge and makes me nervous.

    Hello

I'm a little confused about your ad Mr. what you want to know exactly?
I mean as you can instead of LAN WLAN without problems. It s the same just without cable. You need to check the settings of TCP/IP on your computer which is also a function of the router and enter the right password of the router that s all!

Furthermore, I founded an interesting document:

  • Satellite L305-S5955 and starting problems

    Hello
I have problems with my toshiba Satellite L305-S5955 to departure. When I push the Start button, sometimes it starts, sometimes not (even when it is in sleep or hibernate mode, press a button or the Start button don't work every time), and it is independent of the battery failure or AC power, I checked before. I took it to a repairman, continue and founder of failure has taken a lot of time, at the end, it works very well, but just two days. He said that the problem was in the bios. Now, I still have the same problem.
-Bios version is 2.02. (never did an update).
    -OS: Windows Vista Home Basic.

Can someone please help, or have the same problem to share.

    Thanks for reading.

    > When I push the Start button, sometimes it starts, sometimes not (even when it is in sleep or hibernate mode, press a button or the Start button don't work every time).
    > I took it to a repairman, continue and founder of failure has taken a lot of time, at the end, it works very well, but just two days. He said that the problem was in the bios

I doubt s a BIOS problem, I think that it s more material related

You can try this workaround simply:
Unplug the adapter of the theca and remove the battery.
Wait a while (2-3 hours) and reconnect the two parts.
Then try to turn on the device

If that does not help, then I guess that the question must be related to a problem on the electonic power motherboard or power that belongs to a mobo

  • Satellite L305-S5919 - keys just stop working

    I have a Satellite L305 - S5919 & first my ESC, Q, 4 keys stopped working.
I've only had it for 4 months what has happened. Does anyone know why these keys would simply stop working all of a sudden & I could do about it?

I called Toshiba support & they want back me, but I do not do without my computer so would like to fix it on my own. My keys do not hold or seems broken or anything. They are similar to those of others. OK yesterday my little boys spilled my Mtn dew on my keyboard, where is my space bar. My space bar is stiff so ive been told I can jump off keys & clean under it but looked that up & read you can possibably break if you put a lot of pressure. I can't afford to break it because I don't have any other insurance when I bought in July so I did the 1 year warranty for whats wrong cannot be the way I took it my fault or I have to pay to hget fixed it. Can I jump the SPACEBAR off? & If so, what are the chances of breaking? If I can pop off is their a certain direction, I need to pull up?

Thanks for reading and any help you can give!

    Hello!

I can t tell you why this happens with your keys, but don t forget that the keyboard is a mechanical part of the laptop such things can happen at any time. I guess you're not the first person who had such a problem. ;)

In addition, you can t return only unique keys. If certain keys n t work more, need to replace the entire keyboard. Of course you can do it yourself if you want to go to an ASP but if replace you that you pay for a new keyboard.
I think that the repair shouldn't t take a lot of time. Normally, the keyboard is replaced in a few minutes. Just talk to the technicians.

I got my disk to upgrade to Windows 7 yesterday, and I ran everything that he said. I checked the drivers and reinstalled everything but it still doesn't work.

My laptop is a Satellite L305-S5968 any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, make sure that the WIFI is enabled with the material and the FN + F8 key combination switch.

    Hello!

I bought a laptop Toshiba Satellite L300 - 2 3 with audio controller Realtek ALC268 HDA. But in the Blender of his reading of the tab (Vista, XP SP3), I seek only the microphone bar slide. I need to get a mic-input and output sound (with headphones). Drivers to the latest version.

Please, help me. How could I solve this bag.

    Mic working folder P.S. excellent.

    Hello

    > I need to get a mic-input and output (with headphones).
To be honest I m don't know what you want to do
You want to follow the sound recording through the headphones or what?

If so, then in my opinion it is not possible because it s not supported by this sound chip.
You can check the device settings in Realtek HD audio Manager located in the control panel.

    You will find the options;
-Tie the same type input jacks; either line or microphone as input device
-Separate all the takes input like independent input devices

But in my experience it will not sound recording track.

  • Satellite L305-S5919 - slow modem speed

Hello people. Right now I have this modem driver - * Toshiba Software Modem for Windows Vista (Agere). * But I'm not all that nice to her performance, so I thought to try another.

I'm looking at that - is * Motorola Modem Driver for Windows Vista (32/64-bit) *. The information about this said, it is compatible with my model, but I didn't know if it would work as the one I have is Agere (Agere, it's what it came with nine).

I have a Satellite L305-S5919, Vista 32 bit and Toshiba Software Modem Agere Driver 2.1.77.

    Thank you!

    Hey,.

I think that the problem is not the driver, it s technology modem itself. You know that the speed of the modem is 56,000 Kbps?

The point is that most of the websites are already designed for broadband connections, because they have a lot of high-resolution graphics and other multimedia stuff.

In your case, I would choose another Internet connection ;)

  • Satellite L305-S5939 - Dual boot with Linux

I recently bought the notebook title mentioned for my studies in computer programming that will require me to dual boot with Linux.
I decided to use Ubuntu and their instructions for upward the dual boot parameters are simple.

However, I heard from people having problems with the settings of the BIOS on other brands when said is finished.
Before I embark on this journey, I want to just make sure that everything is set to avoid problems.

Unfortunately, I have not found much information about Dual boot with Linux and Toshiba L305s.
Other than the basic principles of what I need to do before installing?

I think that a dual boot on the Satellite L305 should not be a problem because you can do it on every laptop or PC.

If you want Ubuntu you should take a look on Wubi
    http://wubi-Installer.org/
It of pretty easy to use and in my opinion the best way to install Ubuntu on a system dual boot.

  • Satellite L305-S5968: cannot select a resolution higher than 1280 x 800 px

    Last June, I bought a Satellite L305-S5968.

A month ago my hard drive crashed and luckily I was able to recover some data.
I sent again to make the drive replaced and reinstalled Vista.
When I came back I did all the usual driver updates and when I did everything I could get resolution 1280-800 but I had 1280-1024 prior to the crash.

I tried to go to Intel but their driver for my Chipset Mobile Intel 4 family was apparently not intended for this laptop and would not even install. After having talked to Toshiba about this, they said I had to do the recovery CD rather than the extended warranty which installed Vista has not installed the appropriate driver. I paid my males 25 for the pair of CD and proceeded to reinstall. After all this all over again once I've ALWAYS done could not get the resolution I wanted and always feel the same issues with not being able to install the drivers on the Intel site.

Is there someone who can help me out here please? If I did not provide enough detail please let me know.

    Thank you! :)

    Hello

Have you tried the driver from the Toshiba page we?
This seems to be a laptop out on the U.S. market and that's why I recommend the driver from US page:
    http://www.CSD.Toshiba.com/cgi-bin/TAIS/support/JSP/home.jsp

In addition, you might install a driver from Intel page, but you will have to do it in the Device Manager.
Here, you point to the driver manually files using the Advanced installation procedure.
This would allow to choose Intel page files.

PS: If your display supports the native resolution of 1280x800px max then you will not be able to choose a higher resolution, even if you have used another graphic driver
