Re not formatted from vista to windows 7, have no wireless option in connections. How can I get that option?

I have a HP Pavilion a6683w comes with Vista. I bought windows 7 and put it on the PC, and all is well. When I tried to connect to the internet, I found no option connstion 'Wireless', 'simply dial up or high flow. How can I get this option so I can get wireless internet. I use a Lynksis WMP54G wireless adapter. Can someone help me? Thank you in advance... Bob

The WMP54G is an internal PCI wireless adapter and will require drivers installed in order to work a being available as a network connection, the drivers are found here , but depend on the version of the actual hardware to get the right one. You may have to open your case and check the version number on the circuit to find its version, if you still have the packaging, it could be there.

Download the Zip file, unzip it on the PC and launch the setup.exe located in the directory it creates.

Use the utility that it also installs to connect to your wireless network, you will need wireless security key to do so. WiFi LAN in Internet Explorer is so once that the connection is set up IE will automatically connect to your wireless router.
