  Hating the Vista, I just installed Win XP on my Satellite L300-1AY (PSLB8E).

  The wireless card is not recognized by any player.
  The 'Wireless Lan Driver' of Realtek downloaded at Toshiba website does not, even if I tried to apply this driver manually.

  Provider 8086, definitely that s an Intel device so in your case an Intel WLAN card (as I know the 5100).

  I put t know why the Web from Toshiba site offers only one driver Realtek for your model, but on WLAN portal, you can download the Intel driver and then it should work:

  The A300D seems to be one of the new series of laptops on the market, perhaps XP drivers will be hoping to leave next time s

  By the way; the Satellite A300D * PSAK0C * seems to be a series of Toshiba designed for the Canadian market.
  Therefore, it would be desirable to search for drivers on the Australian Toshiba page!

  The SATA driver is part of the Intel Matrix Storage Manager.
  Storage Manager can be downloaded from the European of Toshiba driver page or directly from the Intel page.

  Not all do the job, but most of them ;)
  I worked m not a L300 owner but tried to install some other Vista on Windows 7 and not all drivers
  But I guess you will have to test it yourself.

  Have you tried other USB devices such as a USB or disk external DRIVE with USB interface? Normally you n t need additional drivers for most USB devices except printers for example.

  More I recommend removing all the USB ports on the Device Manager and then restart the laptop.

  Satellite L300-19F seems to be a PSLB8E series and all THE Vista drivers are published on the European driver Toshiba page.
  Visit the European driver Toshiba page and choose this series.
  Then, you will get all the necessary drivers!
