  I downloaded the driver for the webcam TWebCamera and the icon will now appear in the Windows Start menu. When I try to launch it I get the message that the application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe for more details. Behind this message, there is another saying that the question is not available, you want that it removed from the list?

  The event log you can find in Control Panel > system and security > administrative tools > event viewer. For each error, you get a detailed report. Check this report and follow the instructions.

  Win7 installation should not be problematic.
  Please note: when you purchase your beginning of laptop preinstalled original OS and CREATE a RECOVERY MEDIA before you start to install Win7.

  Satellite L500d-159 seems to belong to the series of PSLT9E.
  European driver Toshiba page provides all the drivers Win XP!

  The laptop supports an ATI graphics chip and the graphics card driver contains the SATA/AHCI driver as well.

  Then download the graphics of the page of the European driver Toshiba driver.
  In the package, you will find only the exe file run this exe file after the package was extracted, you will have to go to the SBDrv\SATA folder
  You will find the .inf file that is a SATA driver!

  I downloaded from this site (it's the only display driver for this laptop).
  When I install and restart, Catalyst Control Center to write me that it do not display driver support and don't launch.
  Windows loads in resolution 640 x 480 and 4-bit color.

  When I'm changing resolution or color apears black screen and nothing happens, in 20 sec it cancels.
  I tried different drivers from ati.com but nothing works :(

  Satellite P300D-20U belongs to the PSPDCE series and I think that it was equipped with the chip graphics ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470 (M82XT).

  Did you choose this series in the form of European driver of Toshiba?

  I see the Display Driver for Win XP v 8.477.

  If you can not install using the setup.exe, then you should try to install this driver in Device Manager.
  Mark (possibly marked with yellow exclamation) graphics card then choose put up-to-date driver, use the Advanced installation procedure, point to the driver files downloaded from the Toshiba page and apply.

  This is my first post here after hidden during the last week or so, my hope is that somewhere it helps and hope so!

  I have a wonderful Toshiba A300D-15B PSAKCE with RAM 4 GB/O, but I suffer from some problems RESEARCH Holy function cannot resolve. I use this laptop as a box of development for uni/work unfortunately...

  After a complete nightmare and Vista32, Vista64, I decided to go back to windows XP32, however this custom install, continues to claim a failure of a CRC file after (and Yes, that's with SATA in IDE mode and a disc of XPSP2)

  I decided that I really DON'T want to goback to Vista, so installed Windows XP64. Now the first installation is very easy, I have the basic configuration, the chipset, graphic, network, CPU, usb, fine... except basic... and that's where I lost most of my hair... SOUND!

  First try to install the results of the pilot of his failure, claiming the mmdriver.inf cannot be found or corrupted, obviously I checked, and yes there it is, downloaded pleasure the MMDRIVER. INF and placed it system32 and the installation always fails.

  I also tried a "manual installation", in .inf files... which includes pilots XP32/64 and Vista 32/64 bit drivers, still the same
  problem, the driver continues to not install. I am going bald. Exceptional drivers who moved there

  The laptop seems to use the Conexant audio chip. So, you will need the right sound driver for Win XP 64 bit.
  Unfortunately, the European driver Toshiba page provides the drivers for Win XP but I don't know if the pilots would cover the OS 64 bit as well m.

  Anyway, what you need to know, is that you will need to first install the patches Ms.
  The fix KB835221 and KB888111MS must be installed before installing the audio driver.
  If you have tried to install the driver, then remove it from the Device Manager and update Windows XP first!

  AFAIK that SP3 already contains these patches then perhaps you should install SP3 first before starting with the installation of the audio driver.

  The European driver Toshiba page provides all the necessary XP drivers and tools.
  The ATI GPU driver came out too!

  An important note; If you want to install XP on this Vista machine, you must update the BIOS to the XP compatible version!

  Regarding your question about the downgrade from Vista to XP Pro via Microsoft site;

  Short answer; No this is not possible!

  I searched a bit on the net and found another Conexant audio driver.

  I installed it and it works very well for my laptop but it s not L650!
  However, make sure that the SP3 must be installed BEFORE installing the audio driver!

  If you have already tried to install the audio driver before you have installed SP3, then you must remove the sound card in Device Manager and restart the laptop again.

  I'm going along in circles. TEMPRO tells me I need a new wireless lan driver. I download what I think, it's good. So it's just sitting there like a file in my documents. I know you're all probably laugh at my ignorance, but what I do? I tried the different perspective of updating my current driver and it tells me I have the latest version.
