  I recently acquired a portable Satellite L750 who has a problem where it not light but annoyingly he teases me by working perfectly on rare occasions, it seems to me as if there is little hope for it. When I press the power button, the power light comes on for a second or 2 then goes off again, the fan does not turn and nor does the hard drive.

  I got him pressing the escape key while pressing the power button, I could access the menu of the BIOS but I left it overnight after that day. In the morning, he failed put on, this time it remained under tension (e.g. fan, HARD drive, and lights were on) but apparently not POST correctly because there was no hard disk activity or anything on the screen. This has been rectified by moving the single module of RAM from one location to the other, after that it worked perfectly again and I was able to use it for 4 hours with no sign of problems that until ever I turn it off.

  24 hours later the laptop is back to its original problem where only the power LED turns on for a second then it stops again. I tried the main thing of escape as before, moving the ram several times, remove the CMOS battery for a few minutes, but nothing works. I deleted each item one by one and tried to power on but the problem remains. I swapped the RAM module with a well-known work. Food looks good even under a load of 10 ohms. There don't seem to be all components damaged visually on the motherboard.

  If anyone has an idea what so ever then I would be delighted to hear it, be as technical as you want.

  First I thought it might be a memory problem since the first attempt to move the RAM module has helped to get the laptop to life. But since the good use of new modules of work does not resolve the problem, I think that the problem is related to the fault of the motherboard.

  This is of course just my personal opinion, but I think you know that only a few rare parts could cause such problems. It could be a faulty motherboard, CPU and graphics card.
  Possible RAM problem has been already excluded so probably it s a very affected mother board

  My laptop does not recognize any external audio input device plugged into the mic port.

  I have a Satellite L750 running Windows 7 with the Conexant HD Audio Smart.

  I want to record using external mixer. I am connect the output of the bureau in the 3.5 mm microphone port, but it seems that it is still just using the internal mic.

  When I go into the sound properties, under the recording tab, it is only the internal mic. There is no option for an external mic.

  I tried updating the driver for sound card, remove the card driver sound and re - install, check all the properties under sound properties, but there is no option for the external microphone.

  I tried Googling the problem but nobody seems to have a viable solution.

  Please can someone help me get the laptop to recognize an external mic.

  Start a test: take an external microphone, connect it to the laptop and use a Windows 7 Audio Recorder utility (can be found in all programs-> Accessories) to record an audio sample.

  Is this possible?

  I think that the microphone that appears in the control-> audio-> recording tab panel is the external microphone jack.
  You can also click right in the recording tab and must mark the options: show disconnected devices and devices to see the disabled.

  Remove the battery and unplug the power plug. Press the power button / stop for 20 seconds. Connect the original AC adapter and try to start your laptop.

  Is continuous ON when you connect power adapter?

  On T450 model only, if the system powers on after the resumption of the hibernation mode or turn it off in battery mode after update BIOS to v1.21, please contact Lenovo Service support and Service TIP SF16 T0012 reference / HT117309. The laptop will have to be repaired.

  Try to remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter.
  Wait a while (> 2 hours) and then reconnect the two parts.
  If the laptop still not, will fuel even using a good power adapter and the battery in good condition, the problem could be related to the problem RAM or the motherboard.

  You should also try to delete one (or two modules if you have some spare parts) module of RAM and should try to turn on the laptop.

  When it starts, I had closed by windows 7 64 bit error.

  You made a big mistake and I don t understand why you stopped operating system installation. Now access to the recovery image is screwed up and I m afraid you will not be able to solve this problem.

  Recovery image installation can be started with F8 and not zero button at startup. You can try to start it again, but I doubt it will work.

  I am facing a problem for the last few days on my Satellite PRO U - 300 (31st PSU)...

  The machine does not turn off and the power light stays on (blue LED) even after you have disabled.
