Re: Satellite P300 with Windows7 - wireless network card can not find my BT homehub
After istalling Windows 7 on my Satellite P300 card wireless LAN Atheros can't find my bt homehub.
I tried to change the channel on the hub and updated to update all drivers, but still no luck.
Any ideas anyone?
The wireless network card is properly activated?
This BT hub is not known to me, but check settings WLAN hub and laptop and updated on both devices to run on the standard G only.

Satellite P100-429 - new wireless network card does not work
Hello
I just upgraded my home network to the draft of the standard "n" and thought that I would upgrade my wireless card on my laptop P100-429;
Laptop is under Vista Home Premium and has the latest version of BIOS and drivers installed.Laptop currently has an equipped Intel 3945ABG card that works very well. I bought an Intel 4965AGN card but when I enter it, the powers of computer to top, but wont load (lights, fan-nothing else)
Okay - so I read on some forums, could be a bad card, so I bought a brand Toshiba 4965AGN card - P/N G86C0002P710
Still having the same problem - the computer refuses to start. Intel technical support say the card should work?
Obviously is a compatibility problem - what can I do about it?Or did someone knows what kind of card I should use?
Thanks for your help!
I m not a Satellite P100 owner but is your laptop equipped with 3 antennas or only 2?
If your laptop has only 2 antennas t, you can pass it to N project because this WiFi standard needs of 3 antennas.I think that your laptop has only 2 antennas, so that would be the reason why the two cards are not compatible to your laptop.
Welcome them

Hello
Usually, if you have a laptop wireless switch should have a wireless LAN card too. In your case I would try to install the driver. Then the WLAn card should appear correctly in Device Manager:
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download driversIf that doesn t work, you can try a BIOS update.
Are you running the factory settings or you have installed your own version of Windows?

Error message: a problem with your wireless network card
Hello, I get this message as shown below: any ideas how to solve this problem? A problem with your wireless network card
Your wireless card has stopped working properly.
There is a network adapter that allows your computer to connect to a wireless network.
To find out if a version update of your wireless network card is available, contact the manufacturer of your device or computer.
Go to the website of the manufacturer of your computer/laptop > drivers and downloads Section > key in your model number > look for the latest Vista drivers > download/install them.
The computer you are using now if you have an Internet connection with the other > download / save drivers > copy them into Flash Drive > transfer / install on another computer/laptop.
See you soon.

Satellite A300D-11v - wireless network card does not work under Win XP
I ve problem. I'm looking everywhere and I don t know what s happened.
I installed XP and I ve problem with WLAN. Before I've used Vista and was ok :)
I got the driver for RTL8187b of
http://www.Realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?langid=1&PNid=1&PFID=1&level=6& Conn = 5 & DownTypeID = 3 & GetDown = false & downloads = true #R TL8187B
and I tried the official website of Toshiba. In Device Manager, everything is ok, but I can't connect.
This n t work:
"The wireless network card is Atheros and not Realtek! The LAN card is Realtek but not the wireless network card!
The Atheros driver can be found here:
http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/Can someone write me step by step how this fix.
Please help me and sorry for my English :)
> Also may try to reinstall the drivers that appear in this web site, appear here the Atheros drivers your need of portable.
Your computer laptop doesn t support card Atheros, but card Realtek WLan.
> In Device Manager, everything is ok, but I can't connect.
As you say the WLan card is recognized correctly, but you can't connect.
Why?I m do not know why, but you should check first if your WLan router uses the same standard WLan (802.11 A, B or G) as the WLan card.
Check the settings! Then check if the right WLan encryption has been selected, check if the Mac address was not enabled, check if the firewall doesn t affect the WLan connectivity.

Satellite Pro L10 - wireless network card is not detected in Win7
Hello
I have a dual boot with XP and Win7 Pro.
If I install the wireless driver from the download on XP site, no problem.
I tried the same procedure using the download wireless driver on the partition Win7 using a) driver XP b) driver Vista & c) the Vista driver in compatibility mode. Nothing worked and it is even not a yellow exclamation in Device Manager, so the wireless card point don't has not recognized at all.
Same problem with Ubuntu Linux.
In XP, it is recognized as "INPROCOMM IPN2220 Wireless Lan Card".
Any ideas?
The entry in Device Manager is right and so must be included in Windows XP Home edition.
This old model of laptop is not supported for Win7 and on the download section Toshiba WLAN I cant find driver for Intel PRO/Wireless 2200 WIRELESS network card.
Googling around, I see many people have the same problem on different models of old laptops.Have you tried to find the driver Googling autour?

I have a problem with the wireless network card.
Hello
I use a laptop Medion MIM 2210 and I have a problem with my wireless network adapter.
I get a message before Windows 7 starts telling me that there is problem with a wireless driver. The exact message says:
"Intel UNDI, PXE - Z.0 (build 082)
Copyright (C) 1997,1998,1999 Intel Corporation
VIA Rhine II Fast Ethernet Adapter v2.43 (2005/12/15)
PXE - E61: Media test failure, check cable of
"PXE - MOF: exit Inel PXE ROM.
This message appears every time you start and I don't know what he means by "Media Test Failure".
I turned on my laptop today and noticed I had no internet connection, it showed that it connected but with yellow '!' symbol indicating that it was not fully connected. He did this for a while now and I have reinstalled Windows, in safe mode and I tried to delete the drivers and re - install, but it hangs right on uninstall what makes me angry no the case.
Of course now, I tried to look for help my internet connection is running but the message is still there. Can someone tell me what to do or how to solve this problem, I am standing now on what to do. I was also on the drivers Medion website but it is impossible to navigate around and drivers without end there'e to choose. I would consider ringing them and asking them if they were not located in Germany as it would cost me a bomb! I did just now searching online via the Device Manager to see if he can find an update for the drivers but nothing came.
Thanks for any help that anyone can offer :)
The message is to be cause the BIOS looking for boot from LAN (not wireless) before it starts and then from the hard drive. The Media test failure is because to boot from LAN it tests to see if the wired Ethernet is connected, it is not if it generates the error message.
Enter the BIOS press F2 after initial power on but before the Logo Windows shows
Integrated devices should allow you to set the settings of wired network adapter. According to the BIOS it is either "enabled with PXE" or have another option to enable or disable the boot ROM
In the boot options the LAN card should be removed altogether.
This message is ONLY applicable to the transfer of the BIOS boot process and should have no impact on the problems of WiFi (it is not on WiFi)

Satellite P10 - 221: "absent wireless network card."
Hello world
I had this problem: the wi - fi network card is not present in the list of hardware, the installation of the driver (both Toshiba tools and Utilities CD and downloaded drivers) still fails. In the case of Toshiba CD it says "DON'T NOT updated the driver, Installation failed", while in the case of the downloaded drivers, nothing happens when I choose "Install" from the context menu (click on
right .inf). The problem is: the wi - fi card is completely absent, the operating system does not, it does not matter where. Someone at - it had the same problem or knows the solution?
Thanks in advance,
WILLER
Hello
are you sure that you really have a wireless network card installed? Not all machines don't.
Check the code under the machine. It is printed on a silver label and looks like this:
PIII1000/256/20/14XT/D/LM/WThis one is a 1 GHz Pentium 3 machine. Read your code and put it here and we can tell if it has a built in network RLR.

Qosmio X 500 - wireless network card is not recognized
Hello everyone,
I have a problem really frustrating with my WI - FI, the thing is that since this morning, my PC can't recognize his wireless network card and it isn't same state that there is a problem with her or anything, it's just like it never existed in the first place! Also the wireless light is still disabled, even if the switch is turned on, it all started this morning, my PC was in mode 'sleep', I lift the screen and the screen goes black with a loud beep and it restarts automatically, so no WI - FI more!
I tried to restore about three days, but nothing has changed, so I tried to reinstall the driver wlan everywhere, but the installation does not start even, as if he says 'there is no card wlan here for a driver to install... "
I'm sorry for the long 'report', but really, I'm out of my mind! Help, please! Can you please tell us more about status of WLAN card?
Card WLAN recognized and listed correctly in the Device Manager?Make sure that the WLAN switch is in position and try to use the FN + F8 key combination to activate the wireless network card. What happen when you try to do this?

All of a sudden out of no where my wireless network card screwed! I now use a straight-through Ethernet cable. I have no idea how to solve this problem! If it's just a software thing, then whatever, but I will have to consider to Best Buy or what?
(1) did you check that you have not turned off accidentally any possible hardware switch?
(2) have you checked that the correct drivers are installed?
(to benefit other readers, this is a clean install after major problems from the use of registry cleaners and bad advice)

Wireless network card does not appear in the Device Manager on Satellite L50 - B - 1 DM
Hello!
I bought just new Satellite L50 - B - 1 DM, model number PSKTCE and installed on Windows 7 Professional SP1 64 bit. He came without OS installed and without driver installation disk.
Problem is that Wlan card does not appear in Device Manager. For my Toshiba support model are 37 drivers and programs. I have already installed: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, all updates to Windows that appeared, SP 1, driver LAN, Toshiba Value added Package. And I tried to install all wlan drivers 4 in the list of "tool utility Intel ' also.
Does not always display any connection without wireless WLAN card. Pressing Fn + F12 does not change. In "Network connections" is the only connection - LAN. No WLAN, no bluetooth.I have "Other devices" in Device Manager with yellow marks on: network controller; PCI device; PCI Simple Communication controller; SM Bus controller. USB controller; Unknown device (with Microsoft ACPI - compliant system location) and video controller.
Any help would be welcome. Thanks in advance
