  To be honest I n don't know what problems you have with the driver audio but that's in the right place for all drivers:

  But before installing the latest version, remove the current version first and clean the registry with CCleaner

  Check this box!

  As you can see if search you for downloads by Satellite Pro L650, everything you need is available for Windows 7 32 bit and Windows 7 64 bit so that the two systems are supported.

  There is no official support for Linux on Toshiba laptops. Computers are designed for Windows only.

  I have a Satellite Pro L40 PSL4BE and have just upgraded to Windows 7. Since the upgrade I can no longer use the function key and the top and down arrows to control the volume. Keys F6 F7 & still control the brightness so I don't know the function key still works.

  First a Dolby audio driver is not known to me and I doubt something like that exist and is available

  You can find and install a sound driver!

  As far as I know the Satellite A300D PSAH8A 01K00H supports the Realtek audio chip and you can download the latest audio driver Realtek directly from Realtek page.

  You can set the default BIOS ONLY inside the BIOS access BIOS by pressing F2 or at the beginning of the initialization of the order

  But I doubt that this problem is related to the BIOS.
  Maybe it s just a simple bad luck that this problem happened exactly after change something in the BIOS.

  Try connecting an external monitor and check if you can see something on the 2nd screen.

  First of all, you can install all possible OS on your P305.
  It true s that the P305 has been pre-installed with the Vista operating system, but of course, you will be able to use other OS like Win XP

  Why you n t check the European driver Toshiba page and choose the show Satellite P300. It of similar to the Satellite P305 (U.S. series) and you'll find the Conexant audio driver!

  As far as I know at this time the 3.47.1.50 versions seems to be a more recent.

  I installed it and it works very well for my laptop but it s not L650!
  However, make sure that the SP3 must be installed BEFORE installing the audio driver!

  If you have already tried to install the audio driver before you have installed SP3, then you must remove the sound card in Device Manager and restart the laptop again.
