  Open the CD player, go to the Help menu and repair the installation.

  Now go to Edit > preferences > General > uncheck "Open documents as tabs in the same window", click OK to confirm the changes & revive CD player.

  As much as I know this laptop came with a HDD 60 common GB improved Interface (ATA-6). In this case you n t need to install all of the SATA drivers.
  In my opinion, it is another question.
