  • Extremely slow NetBook

I have a netbook Acer Aspire One AOD257. It's really slow. When I use internet, it warns me sometimes that I am low on memory. I only have 1 GB of ram. I tried everything, antivirus, disabling startup services, uninstall bloatware but still no cigar. Are there other ways to speed up this little light of mine?

I think that most netbooks are limited to 2G.  1 G is already there and in some cases is inaccessible.  You can add only one piece of 1 G.  EeePCs are an example.  I think to DDR2 800.

IF it's one of those, understand what is already installed.  Some have DDR2 533 and can be upgraded at 800.  Keep in mind that if you add 800 533 is installed, it will run at 533.  You need to match the sizes.  If 1 G is installed the 2nd piece should be 1 G.  Passage of 1 to 2 will certainly show a difference.  The upgrade from 533 to 800 will show an even greater difference.  Cost won't be much.

I have a new model of A2107A-F 2298. He has a lot of apps that I don't need. Application management screen offers only an off button. How to uninstall unwanted applications?

Factory installed bloatware is not removable. The best you can do is disable.

  • BlackBerry Z10 Rogers Bloatware allow me to uninstall Apps permanently

Since the last OS update, whenever I have uninstall some applications - Foursquare, one account of Rogers, Rogers anywhere live, Rogers 1 number etc.  Apps delete fine but a few hours later, I receive a notification that there is a new device available which will then download the apps again.  Is there a way to stop this?  I don't want to miss out on important updates, but this cannot hold Rogers * beep *.

It is not just Rogers, and even in the latest version, if you remove them, they is made back into a small notification the OS upgrade. Do as recommended above and as I did with the ATT pushed apps. I create a folder called Junk/ATT and put apps and ignore it. Drag this folder on your last Panel app.

  • Bloatware NB550D

    Hello

Just bought this laptop today and I'm frankly shocked with the amount of waste that has been loaded on this subject. I thought rather than spending Age passing by removing every small simple program and checking each service I want to format and start over.

I know about this stuff, they are pretty locked. Also, I find it weird they spit hard drive well enough in 2, 100 GB of data and 100 GB for windows

In any case has everyone cleaned their netbook? It would be interesting to see what I can and cannot remove, also once I got it cleaned up I'll be able to take a picture for the recovery starts in my image, and not the bloatware that is stored?

Also I bought this laptop a person and their profile seems attached to it, I went to the recovery by pressing F8 but it asked me password previous owners. Is anyway to remove this users profile and start over again?

    See you soon

    Hello

Laptops are different from desktop computers.

Of course you don t need these software as VAP, Flash Cards, Eco utility, utility disk protection, etc if you are using a desktop PC, but this software is necessary to control the features of the laptop

But that you own decision if you want to use these additional features on your laptop. You can remove/uninstall these tools if you don't need these software and functionality of the laptop.

  • How to remove bloatware of envy dv6 Windows 8

    Product name: Envy dv6

    OS: 8 64-bit Windows

    Error message: no

Changes: No, just open the laptop

    Problem:

What I try to do is simple:

I recently bought a new laptop for my girlfriend, but was embarrassed to find that I could not remove all the bloatware that was installed with it (snapfish, games Wildtanget, HP +, HP Games, MUCH more).

I read a ton of forums, tutorials and tutorials on removing bloatware from what I thought was Windows 8, Windows 7, Vista, ect.  I found no usable information.

I went to uninstall programs in Control Panel System. Frustrating although applications such as snapfish, HP + and HP Games, for example were not on the list of programs.

I've restored the machine twice now and have found no change in the programs. The list of programs is unchanged. The laptop came with disks of recovery, and from what I've read, that they would also have the bloatware on them.

    How to remove these applications?

Most new laptops have an option called Image minimized in the Recovery Manager. This recovery HP only reinstalls Windows and important drivers/software. Have you seen such an option?

BTW, HP Recovery Manager also offers the possibility to burn recovery discs.

  • Bloatware?

Just got my Y510P today and love it so far. Does not do anything for her because I'm going to do a recovery drive, but first, I need to know what programs I don't need.

Can someone help me understand what to uninstall?

Did some research on the programs and files I knew nothing. Deleted almost everything that I didn't need, or I know that I don't use it. Rid of McAfee and all other free stuff to test. Will install Avast (or if there is a better alternative, I'm going to install that) after I made a recovery disk. It's pretty much bloatware free now.

  • Bloatware on new dv7

HP is the undisputed king of Bloatware and I knew that before I bought this laptop, but the coupon code I had this makes a much better deal than their competitors.

I uninstalled all the garbage from cyberlink and most of the junk from HP.  My respects to the question:

    HP Installer

    HP Advisor

    under uninstall programs under win7

I already ran HP setup which is basically just a HP registration program.  Well it does not uninstall after this, it remains on the start menu and you can run it over and over again, lol.  It also contains my personal info.  All the consequences of this uninstaller?

HP Advisor wants to launch this stupid dock and I don't want a frickin running dock.  It seems that total failware.

The only thing I intend to leave under HP in the start menu is "HP Support Assistant", seems ok and I heard that you need to get the hp remote support.

    Comments?  suggestions? format c:?

    THX

HP Setup is just for the initial registration. You can uninstall this program and are not required.

HP Advisor monitors the integrity of the system and allows easy access to troubleshooting solutions. HP Advisor also displays information of the computer, including the details of the guarantee and the connections to devices, such as printers. If you don't like this software, you can even uninstall this program.

HP Support Assistant is the new support for HP utility that will give a lot of help. I recommend you to have on your system.

  • Wild tangent bloatware - REQUIRES installation of unknown sources

ACER has put bloatware wild tangent games on my A3 - A20 tablet, and it cannot be deleted. That sucks all by itself. But what is really unacceptable is wild tangent pops up a notification that he needs your attention.  And to make this notification disappear, you must allow installation of unknown sources so that it can update itself.  ACER, I don't want this kind of things on my Tablet first.  Do not make worse it by requiring that I reduce security on my tablet in order to make the notification disappear.  Really shabby.

Finally I realized that he was trying to do, and this wild tangent has been around for a long time.  So I've allowed unknown sources, allowed wild tangent to update, and then I disabled unknown sources.

But understand that I'm not happy with that ACER has done here.

You can also disable unwanted apps list request.

    settings/applications

tap the application you want to disable, select off (sometimes it will ask to uninstall updates to disable, you can press OK and then the application will be disabled)

  • Center of Lenovo, the candidate of bloatware removal solutions

Is the center of Lenovo solutions a candidate for removal of bloatware?

Add on the question: which App Lenovo could have reinstalled SHAREit after I uninstalled?

Lenovo Solution Center is not necessary for your system to operate normally.  You can decide to remove it, or not.  Totally to you.

There was a period of 2 to 3 days towards the end of the month of October where Lenovo System Update would be installing a new version of SHAREit even if it was previously uninstalled.  This problem should not happen again.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

  • Implemented new XPS 15 - remove bloatware?

Hi could someone please refer me to a FAQ or an article with suggestions on the removal of unnecessary software to a new laptop.  First to go will be McAfee - is there other things people recommend remove? TIA

Now I see that I misunderstood your question, at least by one bit.

I'm not quite sure what comes on a 2016 Dell, I will early next week when the one I just ordered arrives. In the list of packing my order I already guessed I want to permanently delete the trial office, McAffee AV. I have to go to Cyberlink Media Suite Essentials to see what my father thinks of it (the computer is for him), in the past I took it I think, because I found myself use it... but maybe he has changed... some of the features have been upgraded and I never used the free.

In my previous experience, I tended to consider anything that's trial-ware as something I would delete; There may be exceptions that I guess, but of course, that would mean I'd be willing to buy the software at the end of the trial and I never had that happen.

I personally also remove all Dell utilities, but for my father I will probably leave the system update utility to update the drivers. I tend to update the system myself on my own and prefer not to have the running process. I also tend to get answers to my questions here on the forums, so I remove everything related to the Dell service (I forgot what they call, but some utility that lets you more easily can contact Dell if you encounter a problem).

If I remember I'll come back and do a list better once I get my desktop of fathers next Tuesday (or almost).

For me personally, I honestly tend to reinstall the operating system and Dell drivers and do not have their pre-installed software. Even with any company, not just Dell. I never found something useful, and what is put on it slows my system only. But as another poster mentioned, bloatware one man's treasure of another man.

A friend said a good measure is to wait a month and everything that begins to harass pay you for it (which means it's Articles of first instance) gets uninstalled unless it is willing to buy it and all that it has not used by uninstalled if then even if free gets most of the cases too. He said that if he's not going to use it by then it figures it's only slow down his computer, especially if it is loaded at startup.

  • Uninstall unnecessary programs

I inherited a Windows 7 PC at work and some things don't work well, and we try to find bad programs and uninstall them or delete them. I went through the list of programs and uninstalled that watched the bad and done and all virus scan, but still have some problems.

What program do you recommend that I use to find crapware on Windows 7? The programs may not necessarily malicious, it's just * problems.

+ 1 when using a PC given, it is often better to reinstall Windows, if you have a disk, or

use the recovery partition if your machine is a Dell OEM mfg. HP (they love their)

    bloatware).

It is difficult enough that you know without the unknown unknowns someone troubleshooting

otherwise left TAPI in the system.

You may be able to clean it well.

Current installation is not the main problem with bloatware. There is more to do with it, if she will load in the

background and doing some unnecessary stuff.

I would first of all defragment the HARD drive and run the Windows Disk Cleanup.

Then uninstall any programs that you don't need via programs and features.

If you don't know what it is, let him.

    Restart and Defrag again

-You can also stop the software from loading when you start in Windows via System Configuration .

[Type - msconfig - the command in run or start menu search bar.]

When the System Configuration opens go to the Startup tab and uncheck the box next to all

software programs and anything else that you don't need to have loading with Windows.

but don't stop something if you don't know what it is. Reset.

CCleaner can also be a useful tool for cleaning your machine, but do not use the

Registry Cleaner (or any other registry cleaner) and do a little attention to what CCleaner deletes.

Create a system restore point before you allow CCleaner to do it's thing is a good idea.

Free download CCleaner - optimization of the PC and cleaning-

"Note that a lot of PC: optimize" or to speed up the software, are false, and some can be difficult

to remove it, amounting to spyware/trogan.

More to run a registry cleaner as well, and many ask money before setting the trillion questions

    you machine a supposedly.

  • How to clean install instead of the pre-installed version + bloatware

    Hello

I just bought a Toshiba Z930 customized directly from Toshibadirect.com.  I also paid extra for the upgrade to Windows 7 ultimate/SP 1.

Unfortunately, the laptop is severely overloaded with dozens of programs of Toshiba crapware, and several of their 'partners '.  The laptop came with NO discs, and I had to create my own backup disks if you ever want to do a "refresh of factory' which includes all the crapware.

I contacted toshiba sales and technical support to ask to do a clean install just Windows 7 Ultimate, and their only choice is:
-Use "factory refreshing" disks which makes me always welcome back to a complete system of crapware
-Use Add/Remove programs to remove dozens of their crapware programmes - which will of course leave all kinds of residual junk in my system.

    Question:
Where can I get a copy of Windows 7 ultimate SP 1 (64 bit) to do a clean install in my laptop and then activate it using the license key that is located on the sticker affixed to the bottom of my laptop?

    Thank you
    Russ

You can get the ISO via the links which have been previously frequently published in these groups

But during the installation of the "Virgin" to win, you must then consult your PC manufacturer to install all the drivers specific to sys

You can uninstall anyway whatever you decide is bloatware, gift of the so will not affect the underlying system of victory and leave no residual undesirable (other than certain folders, you may need to remove)

BTW very little PC came with relocations disks, they rely on a hidden restore partition and the end-user creates the recovery disks according to the instructions of PC manufacturers
