REACTIVATE WITH THE NEW KEY
I've owned this licensed copy of Windows XP Edition family for more than 10 years. It is not installed on a different machine than the one I have intalled on today. I'm fixing my brother-brother Office who caught a virus and needed to install a new copy of Windows (because it doesn't have its CD now). I registered and activated without problem and then apply the updates more than 120 and repair almost all device driver problems. Now, when you apply the next set of updates, I tells me the key I have been activated too many times and I have to get a new key (which means the purchase of Windows 7, apparently). License written I can use this software on one PC and there is no limit or an indication that I can activate only a certain number of times. This is unacceptable. I paid a lot of money for this OS and I expect to continue to use it until it turns off support next year.

First New - VM: an element with the same key has already been added.
I get a strange error that I have seen a few other posts, but with no resolution (or at least one that I can find). When you try to create a new virtual machine using the cmdlet New - VM, I get the error "an item with the same key has already been added."Now, here's the key that I've not seen many others to mention. This ONLY happens on the first attempt for each new connection with Connect-VIServer. I can create as many of the same machines that I want after that first mistake with the same settings (new name of course). If I disconnect and reconnect again, the error appears for the first time.
Normally with PowerShell, I have just to catch the error and be on my way. However, in this case I use the parameter - RunAsync, so that I can capture the task that is returned in a variable. From there, I use Wait-task until the virtual machine is complete before moving on with the script. Everything works fine when the error occurs, but when it happens that the object of the task is not returned and the rest of her vomit script errors.
I am running the latest version of PowerCLI and I tried this on PowerShell v2.0 and v3.0 and get the same results. I tried different models and guests without success. I also tried this with and without assistance - AllLinked on Connect-VIServer-bound mode. I should mention that I am cloning model, by specifying a spec customization and host cluster data store. Again, the only common denominator repeatable here is that this ONLY happens on the first attempt to use New - VM session to vCenter.
Any ideas or suggestions?

Cannot install Windows 8 with the new drive, because the key will not
I just rebuilt a 64-bit pc. I had windows 7 on it and decided to do a clean install of windows 8. Bought a version OEM from Amazon yesterday. Arrived today and the disc was in double sealed package of Microsoft Corporation. The package comes with the key in very small print on the back that I had to read with a magnifying glass. This key is not accepted during the installation of the software. I checked that it was OK and I tried several times but the key has not been accepted. What should I do now?

iMovie 10.1.2 falls down during editing of a film, usually by doing something like adding a title or a transition. Failed attempts to restart. Try to reboot with the option key + command allow you to remove preferences. Someone has an idea for a fix?
What are the specifications of your clips you want to change? Try to create a new user and see if FCPX is behaving.

Each computer toshiba laptop comes with preinstalled operating system (recovery image) and the product key at the bottom of your laptop belongs to this version. With other words: when you buy the new laptop, you have to pay for hardware, operating system and a license for this preinstalled OS. Product key at the bottom is not a kind of universal product key and cannot be used for activation of another version of Windows.You can use the delivered Toshiba recovery disc that contains mage replicated several times and each time you will have activated the operating system. When you use the Microsoft disk for the installation of the OS you must have valid product key which belongs to this particular version.
In your case product key is for Vista, and you cannot use it for Win7 activation. This product key is... unnecessary.

How to get Vista recovery Media and/or to use the Vista recovery Partition on your computer.
There is no Vista free download legal available.
Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.
Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

Microsoft cares if I use my old OS OEM with the new motherboard?
I am building a newish computer; Microsoft cares any longer, if I use my old OS OEM with the new motherboard? All of the previous answers to this question are all about 2011 are resolutely "affirmative", they care. I know that Microsoft has had a change of heart (at least I think) regarding their operating system. With the upcoming free update, I was hoping I could recycle my Windows 7 64 bit, an increase in the time up to 10 comes out.

Well, you have some problems. First of all, with a new motherboard you need a new copy of Windows - not only the DVD, but a whole new product key must be purchased. It's just the terms of the license: a new motherboard is equivalent to a new computer, and each computer must have its own copy of Windows.
So where you buy your copy of Windows 7, I would make sure that it came with a DVD image. Otherwise, you can tell us which version of Windows 7 you (will) actually buy, and we can send you a link to the copy of the DVD for this version of Windows 7.

If you purchased a computer with installed OEM Windows 8 on it, there could be a sticker on the Tower, or in the back (in the case of a laptop) with the product key to this topic. If there is no sticker, he can be preinstalled on your system BIOS.

I recently rec'd a new computer with the new windows program (8). Printer works sometimes, but not all the time. The setting was listed as offline. I can't understand how to get online.
