It works perfectly fine... BUT when I bring back the WAN connection as 10.0.0.1 it takes almost 50 seconds for connections to return on a LAN host

Ip and rtr als does not act too quickly that I intended.

the glbp pass at any time while

How can adjust the time of ip sla to make it act more quickly?

Thank you very much

Hi Hassan,.

I replied to your email, but I thought I would send you my recommendations here as well to ensure that you receive:

I don't think that ALS is the problem, it seems that your host computers do not receive mac AVF update to the VIP address fast enough when R1 is in a failed State.

In a test environment, try to set the redirect glbp timer to see if it improves the issue:

GLBP 1 timers redirect 1 603

In theory, this command will show the AVG to stop to redirect the old mac address of the VIP guests (i.e. the router failed) in 1 second (the minimum is 0) and will completely remove the router failed GLBP group in 603 seconds (minimum) from the time that the failure is detected.

Yet once again, I highly suggest to test in a lab environment before implementing it on prod.

Sure.  You can use Enhanced Object Tracking to track each IPSLA collector and EEM to respond to delays.  For example:

track 1 accessibility of 1010 ip sla

    !

    Event Manager applet track-1010

    event track 1 State

message from syslog to action 1.0 "Collector IPSLA 1010 timed out."

"action mail 2.0 of '[email protected] / * /'to'[email protected] / * /" object "Collector IPSLA 1010 is down" body "Collector IPSLA 1010 has exceeded" Server "10.1.1.1" "

I have to go to a remote site and get this working in a maintenance window short but unfortunately I have no way to test it and I don't want to go blind. So if someone could check that the script works with my version of the IOS, it'll be great.

This will work, but your syslog message seems to indicate that the wrong interface is shutting down.  You must also 'Manager event session cli USER username' If your router uses the AAA command authorization.

  • EEM Script works only with IP SLA

I created script linked to SLA of intellectual property.  If the IP SLA is violated, we want the script to run and stop bgp peers and send syslog messages and can send by e-mail.  I get alert on ALS IP missed, but nothing else happens so screwed up the script in any way. This is the first time using EEM scripting if any help would be great.  Given that we have never used EEM scripting in this place the version that we would use is the default version provided with SRI 4451 in 2015. I do not know if what counts.

  • How can I simulate 50% load on a point to point WAN circuit to measure the latency of a pre-determined SLA?

    I just built a remote DMVPN RADIUS with an 300Mbps private point-to-point circuit to the data center.  My manager has promised an SLA of< 20ms="" at="" 50%="" bandwidth="" utilization="" (i="" think="" he="" made="" that="" up?!).=""  i'm="" trying="" to="" sort="" out="" the="" best="" way="" to="" test/document/baseline="" this="" statement="" for="" the="" customer.=""  my="" questions="">

Can how best I simulate a 50% load on the circuit? -My thoughts would be to set up some sort of maximum bandwidth QoS between 2 hosts and push then a large amount of traffic across the link and then average latency statistics ICMP to ping between the same two hosts.

Without going into too much detail, the remote site is using ASR1001 (DMVPN spoke) with tunnel interfaces ASR1002 worms (DMVPN hub).  3750 x at the access layer.

    3750 x > mm fiber > asr1001 (speak) > 300Mbps circuit > 3750 x > asr1002 (hub) > l ' infrastructure.

On the client side of Iperf use the-b option to specify the available bandwidth. [UDP]

    I hope this helps.

    See here:

    http://OpenManiak.com/Iperf.php

UDP tests: (-u), bandwidth settings (-b)
    Also see the section "Jperf.

UDP tests with the argument u will give valuable information on the jitter and packet loss. If you do not specify the argument - u, Iperf uses the TCP protocol.
To keep a good quality link, the packet loss should not go more than 1%. A high packet loss rates will generate a lot of retransmissions of TCP segment that will have an impact on bandwidth.

The Jig is basically the variation in latency and doesn't depend on the latency. You can have high response times and a very low jitter. The jitter value is especially important on network links supporting voice over IP (VoIP) as a high jitter can interrupt a call.
The argument-b allows the allocation if the desired bandwidth.

  • Remote host IP SLA ping by tunnel VPN with NAT

    Hi all

I did some research here, but don't drop on similar issues. I'm sure that what I want is not possible, but I want to make sure.

I want to monitor a remote host on the other side a VPN. The local endpoint is my ASA.

The local INSIDE_LAN traffic is NATted to 10.19.124.1 before entering the VPN tunnel.

Interesting VPN traffic used ACL card crypto:

    access-list 1 permit line ACL_TUNNELED_TO_REMOTE extended ip host 10.19.124.1 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0

    NAT rules:

    Global (OUTSIDE) 2 10.19.124.1 mask 255.255.255.255 subnet

    NAT (INSIDE_LAN) 2-list of access ACL_NAT_TO_REMOTE

    NAT ACL

    access-list 1 permit line ACL_NAT_TO_REMOTE extended ip 172.19.126.32 255.255.255.224 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0

This configuration works very well for traffic from hosts in 172.19.126.32 255.255.255.224 is 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0.

However, I like to use "ip sla" on the SAA itself to monitor a remote host with icmp ping 192.168.1.0. This would imply NATting one IP on the ASA to 10.19.124.1, but I do not see how to do this. None of the interfaces on the SAA are logical, to use as a source for this interface.

    Thanks for ideas and comments.

    Concerning

You are absolutely right, that unfortunately you won't able to NAT interface ASA IP address. NAT works for traffic passing by the ASA, don't not came from the SAA itself.

  • How to convert 'time' readable value?

When I print just a playlist of iTunes directly on my printer, the time taken by each song fate of easily readable as way for example: 03:27 or 03:08 (minutes and seconds). Choice of the paper version iTunes does not unfortunately for our situation (a dance group need more songs on one page for the program of dances to play each week that would take on one of the pages in the iTunes of a print to the list). I learned how to export the play list in a text file and load to Microsoft Excel (which allows to print more lines per page), but the time taken by each song comes out as just a number (for example, 207 and 188 for the examples only). These values are to be a constant percentage of minutes + seconds digits. It should be possible to convert. But how? It is not among the options provided by Excel when loading a text file.

I'd hate to convert each hand!

    Thank you.

P.S. I have a Mac Mini, as indicated below, but the problems that I have described are spend on my Windows 7 PC.

Rather than address the export, it would be easier to simply copy (from view songs in your iTunes library) and Paste into Excel.

So if you have this in your library:

.. .you will get this in Excel:

Note that the time of stay in the format mm: SS .

  • 5 pages readable documents published on 6 Pages?

Not all users upgrade os each year.

5 pages readable documents published on 6 Pages?

(BTW, I don't understand why it comes to page 6 No Pages 5.7)

In the trial brief that I did, Yes, 6 Pages can open a Pages 5.6.2. I created a new file in Pages 6 on a Mac & then he opened pages on another Mac 5.6.2. Its opening without the warning and I was able to close the file without getting a new Save dialog box. This indicates that Pages 6 uses the same file structure. I also did a test yesterday and was able to open a file Pages in page 6 4.3.

Of course, there are a lot of messages in this forum to users having problems with 5 Pages being impossible to open the Pages 5 files created in a different version. Sometimes, he can't even open the files of the same version! Personally, I stick to 4.3 Pages.

  • How can I recover the modules and their data from a failed HARD drive (the lost BONE areas, but data files are readable)?

The HARD drive that was my OS (Windows XP Pro SP3) failed and lost quite a few areas which are essential for the operating system running. Other data is still readable. A got another HARD drive and installed Windows XP SP2, Firefox and other programs. I was able to retrieve the bookmarks, security certificates, and other profile information using the information found in bandages.

None of them addressed how do to recover the modules or their data. Specifically, there are several large, elegant scripts that took months to develop and customize.

Articles related to migration and other do not work for me because they require the old copy of FF is functional, that is not because the OS on this HARD drive is damaged. Is it possible to recover these data, similar (or not) about how I could get the other profile info?

Have you copied the entire folder C:\Documents and Settings\username \Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\ on the old drive?
If this is not the case, can you?
If so, make a copy and save this folder just in case.

If so, you could replace this folder on the new facility by \Profiles\ [with your profiles inside] folder and the profiles.ini file [delete all other files / folders that may also be in the folder "Firefox"] -and then replace with the same folder named from the old failed drive. Note that you will lose what you already have with the new installation / profile!
Your profile folder contains all your personal data and customizations, including looking for plugins, themes, extensions and their data / customizations - but no plugins.
But if the user logon name is different on the new facility that the former, any extension that uses an absolute path to the file in its prefs will be problems. Easily rectified, by changing the path to the file in the file prefs, js - keep the brake line formatting intact. The extensions created after the era of Firefox 2.0 or 3.0, due to changes in the 'rules' for creating extensions usually are not a problem, but some real old extensions that need only "minor" since that time can still use absolute paths - even though I have not seen myself since Firefox Firefox 3.6 or 4.0.

View instead of 'Modules' I mentioned the 4 types of 'Modules' separately - Plugins are seen as 'Add-ons', but they are not installed in the profile [except those mislabelled as a "plugin", when they are installed via an XPI file], but rather in the operating system where Firefox 'find' through the registry.

Note: Migration articles can tell you do not re - use the prefs.js file, due to an issue that I feel is easily fixed with a little inspection and editing. I think you can manage that my perception is that you have a small shovel in your tool box, if you encounter a problem you are able to do a little digging and fixing problems with the paths to files - once you have been warned.

Overall, if you go Firefox 35 35 or even Firefox 34 to 35, I don't think you will run in all the problems that you can not handle [that I cross my fingers and "hope" that I'm not on what it is obvious].

With regard to the recovery of the 'data' for individual extensions - there are many ways that extension developers used to store their data and pref. The original way should save in prefs.js or their own file RDF in the profile folder. While Firefox has been developed more, developers started using their own files in the profile folder. And because Mozilla has started using sqlite database files in Firefox 3.0, Mozilla extended their own use of sqlite, as have extension developers.
Elegant uses the file stylish.sqlite to store 'styles', but something in the back of my mine tells me that 'the index' maybe not in this file with the data. But then again, I can be confusing myself a question I had with GreaseMonkey awhile back where I copied the gm_scripts folder in a new profile and with already installed GreaseMonkey but with no script. These GM scripts worked, but I could not see them or modify them - they do not appear in the user GM extension interface window in Firefox.

  • Export of text Messages on PC readable by form

    Hello

Sorry if it's a question of relationship, but I have an iPhone 4 and I would like to transfer my text Messages on my PC in a readable (with photos) such as Word, PDF or HTML format. Maybe even have the ability to transfer them to my iPhone (or at least some parts of their)

Here is a longer version of the question.

My PC that I had my iPhone 4 sync with iTunes crashed. So currently, I'm not synchronized on iTunes. I have a new PC, but I plan to get the iPhone 7 so I thought I'd go with just the new PC and new iPhone combo. I have a laptop that I play with I can sync to my iPhone 4 with iTunes - if it must be done.

If I sync the iPhone 4 to iTunes on my laptop, I want to make sure that the phone does not get wiped out and lose everything that is already on it.

    Any ideas?

  • External hard drive is more readable by Mac.

    Hello

I have an external hard drive, 2 TB WD My Passport and I have a lot of things out there that I have collected over the past 2 years. When I had OS X Yosemite, I took everything out of it and reformatted it so I could more than just read the documents there and it worked perfectly. Once I upgraded to El Capitan head drive no longer works with my mac and I don't know anyone else with a mac to try to recover the files. When I plug the hard drive, it says "the disk you inserted is not readable by this computer." and then it gives me three options: initialize..., ignore and eject. I don't know what to do, I'd be more than happy to reformat, but I have to delete it before doing this and I really don't want to lose all my documents. Is there a solution to this problem other than to lose all my documents and reformat the hard drive?

Thank you very much to everybody and all those who take the time to watch and help with this problem!

Click on ignore and try to repair it with disk utility.

However, the player may be dead and you will need a type of service or file recovery software to recover the data.
