ReadyNAS 104 to 314 #26833764

Hiya

I have a readynas 104 with 6 TB drives in there, I want to move to a readynas 314 to be able to use the maximum storage space

Can I just slide my readers of the 104 in the 314 and not lose my data?

Thank you

Looking at your case looks like has already set and the remains to have PHP installed at one time was the problem.

The following is the error I get when trying to run this application installed. Activation/deactivation of the service then nothing

The RN104 is not a unit of Annapurna.

The RN104 uses other armel package. It should have been clear when downloading from plex.tv/downloads

  • Monitoring of ReadyNAS on ReadyNAS 104

IM using a ReadyNAS 104 and want to use to record the flow of our surveillance cameras. Unfortunately application of monitoring ReadyNAS does not supports more of a camera and recording on motion that makes it completely useless for my application. Is it possible to purchase a license to get a record on motion works on a series of 100 ReadyNAS or is it simply not supported?

A little off topic, but I finally got the camera to record directly on a ReadyNAS share. All I had to do was setting a quota for such action and finally formatting worked. What the camera calls of formatting are actually create some files binary index and a bunch of zero-byte files hivXXXXX.mp4 which then slowly getting filled with video data.

  • How long does it take to extend a volume on a ReadyNAS 104

    Hello

I have a ReadyNAS 104 that I had started to use with a single disc in it, a red WD 4 TB. However as it was close to capacity I had an another Red WD 4 TB to extend the volume on the.

It took some time (about 12 hours) for the drive to become ready. To increase the volume and use the two discs, I understand that I had to reboot the ReadyNAS. So I did, but since the display said "restart now. See you soon. »

Have been led to believe that this will take a while, if someone can give a sign of how long, because it's been 48 hours and I am concerened that something is wrong.

Currently I'm unable to access the ReadyNAS on the network, obviously I guess as it is still starting, so unable to confirm indeed if he does something.

    Thank you

It seems awfully long for me, and should be able to see RAIDar.

    Hello

I recently bought a ReadyNas 104, I updated the OS to 6.2.5 but I this gel NAS which often and the only way is to pull the power plug.

After many trials, I think that I have a system stable but only because I have disabled "bit rot" options for all actions. I don't mind that little rot slows down the NAS, but I fear that the only way out is by pulling on the power cord because noting unresponsive.

    Thanks in advace.

So far the days I have no blockages.

The 2 things I did was to disable the "virus scanner" and disable all 'protection rot '.

  • Different versions of ReadyCloud on ReadyNas 104 6.5.0

    I have two ReadyNAS 104
    Both recently upgraded to 6.5.0

A while back I accidentally disabled ReadyCloud on the first and then added new - then after that was to connect to the admin Pages using the 'admin' instead of the main user account account. This works even when am so Ok with it.

Since the upgrade to 6.5.0 - I need to use the account "admin" on both.

Now, go to the 'Cloud' of these two tab - ReadyCloud option seems to be significantly different on both. Key settings also gived options.

Not a big issue that I don't use much, but thought I would check why it is.

Clear the cache of your web browser, close your web browser and then reopen the web administration interface. The admin web UI should then display correctly with both systems.

  • Pass the disk from ReadyNAS 104 again ReadyNAS 104 #26210568

I just got a replacement from the ReadyNAS 104 factory. I swapped the drives ensuring that I kept the disc # correct. However, when I start the new NAS he don't know the discs. I need to "turn up the volume. However, I fear that will erase the data. Any suggestions on what to do?

    Hello ckovel,

When you insert the disc on another chassis that is with the same model, you must insert them all to their respective bays before initializing the NAS. NAS should display disks and volume load.

If this is not the case, one possible reason is the chassis and the disks do not have the same version of firmware.

You should still be able to get support for it since it is to install the replacement. It is best that you contact the helpdesk to guide you through it. Use the previous case, it can be reopened and increase if necessary.

  • rebuilt drive ReadyNAS 104 replaced always display data degraded data

Have a 104 - drive in slot 1 readynas failed-

tested the new drive all tests

    replaced by model and brand

It detects and rebuilt volume showing raid 1

Once rebuilt still happens with degraded volume

    running latest firmware

Have you tried restarting and once rebooted begins the rebuilding process again?

    Someone has any ideas

    Thank you

Well I would like to back up the data to another drive if you can (do not try and replace the existing data).

Then with only good new records in the NAS do a factory default (erases all the data, settings, everything) and restore your backup data.

I bought this ReadyNAS for redundancy of the data on my network (media etc.), so I use my old workstation leads in NAS (I know bad idea, but I have already built the table before the search).

  • ReadyNas 104 web inaccessible gui

So today I wanted to connect on my ReadyNAS however windows was invited me for a user name when trying to access actions to explore what was new and since I tried to enter the password twice without success I wanted to connect the Web gui to check what was going on.

However the web gui is not available (page does not load as if the service is not running). I change not all apps on the last time I got it online (I usually do not install anything because I just use it as a storage/backup). I tried to reset the Firmware in the start menu, without great success except that now, even the windows sharing appears no more.

The NAS is started perfectly, saying: it is enough space availabe and it also gets an IP address from my router. Unfortunately I had disabled SSH and also after reset it the firmware's default deativated for sure.

I have several terabytes of data on these discs, which I just can't afford to lose just because of a software hiccup. Is there an easy way to solve this problem by reinstalling a newer OS or something?

    Kind regards

Reverse your two SMB changes with

    SC.exe config lanmanworkstation depend = bowser/mrxsmb10/mrxsmb20/ins
    SC.exe config mrxsmb20 start = auto

These changes should not have had any effect on access by web browser anyway, because the browser is not via SMB.

As before, you need to run CMD as administrator, and then restart when you are finished.

You have running on the PC internet security software?

  • 6.2.5 ReadyNAS 104 firmware update is not displayed for ethernet network adapters > links

I recently updated my ReadyNAS to 6.2.5 firmware 1.04 and the network > links page does not appear any ethernet cards. I recycled the box several times but still no information of the card. Because I can navigate to the page to admin (via IP address), the network works. However, it does not appear in the DNS so I would check the configuration but impossible because no card shows eth. Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

I finally solve this by manually installing the 6.2.5 new update. Seemed to have solved any problem occurred during automatic update.

Unfortunately, you cannot save a ReadyNAS to opportunity. There is no guarantee, and Netgear provide any support paid either.
