ReadyNAS 204 no connection ethernet #27311475

After restarting my readynas will get is no longer an IP address. During shutdown, it displays a 'do_exit + 890'. It will not turn off and I have to pull the plug. The green light is always on one of the network cards, and there is no seeing that lights on the map of others. I tried a factory reset and reinstall an os, but again, it gives the same error and does not get an IP address. During the factory reset, it is enclosed with a 'al_eth_set_wol + 54"error displayed. Reboot after that grew up the NAS, but no ethernet port won't work. I can not access to the NAS.

I feel that ports NETWORK card went bad, and I don't know what else to do.

Hi datacloud.

It seems that the replacement unit has been shipped. Kindly post if you have any other questions.

    Hello

I use ReadyNas 204. I have several users who use the FTP Service with their own account.

Is it possible that I can see who connected and what the user up or down-loading?

    Thank you

    Hi MrtAlways,

    Welcome to the community!

You can see who is connected to your ReadyNAS through FTP (local / remote) by checking the device logs > system or systemd-journal newspapers. Unfortunately, we will not be able to see in the newspapers, what files were consulted, downloaded and uploaded.

    I hope this helps!

  • How to reduce the time to backup my ReadyNAS 204 Server?

I use my ReadyNAS 204 Server backup storage. It takes about 10 hours to backup my ReadyNAS 204 server. There are about 400 GB of data on my server. Is it possible to shorten the time of backup?

Make sure they are both connected to the same switch or the modem. If they are not, doing so is expected to accelerate dramatically.

  • Connection ethernet and external monitor

Is it possible to connect an ethernet cable and a VGA adapter to a MAC AIR at the same time?  I use my crush on internet in my school and I would like to use an external monitor at the same time.

There are two options: a dear TB hub that allows you to add additional ports or a USB Ethernet adapter. The USB adapter will be slower, but depending on the speed of your school's network you may not notice a difference.

  • connection ethernet Mac mini

My Mac Mini (latest model 2014) suddenly stopped to connect to my network home yesterday. I can still connect wirelessly, but not via the ethernet cable.

I tried to connect the Mac Mini to different ethernet ports, without passing through routers and switches and using different cables. But it doesn't go anywhere.

Other computers (Windows) to connect very well to all ethernet ports.

Can someone tell me how I can determine if this is a hardware problem or a software problem?

In Network preferences, he says just "Cable Disconnected".

    Thank you

Ah... Bloody ISP changed the DNS settings and these needed to be updated on the network--> the global settings screen. Problem solved.

  • ReadyNAS 204 + WD Live

Hello, just bought and put in place a 204 Readynas to replace an old pc I used in flow of.

Put everything in place easily and copied all my multimedia elements on the nas.

My problem seems to be continuous from the nas to my WD Live box. Movies or shows will play

great for about 50 to 60 minutes, and then picture goes black and the video stops after a shooting time.

Using of SMB and the network shares on the wd live

You could try 6.4.1 beta (https://community.netgear.com/t5/ReadyNAS-Beta-Release/ReadyNASOS-6-4-1-T21-Beta-1/m-p/999457#U99945...

  • Connection Ethernet to El Capitan does not

I've updated El Capitan on my Ethernet connected desktop computer on October 2, 2015.  Then on October 22 the 10.11.1 updated.  On November 6 and 7, I was unable to connect.  I managed to get back online in the evening of November 8.  don't ask me how! This last until 19 November.  Then from November 20 to November 26 inclusive.  On November 27 I connected as a guest and managed somehow to connect again.  Until 30 November and have been offline since with my office. I give these dates because I want to eliminate two potential problems:

    1. on 8 November, I joined a new wireless Brother printer all in one

    2. on 16 November, I received a new Panasonic microwave oven.

my ISP is Plusnet.  I contacted them, and the answer that seemed logical, is that I have an iPad and iPod touch that I can't connext with Internet.  So there is nothing wrong with my line.  It must be the iMac system.  PlusNet has confirmed that I have the correct details in the account preferences.  I have another e-mail account that is iCloud.

I tried everything I have seen online including discussion forums.  I'm desperate to get online on my desktop.

is your compatible 802.x microwave oven and it is in conflict with your router?

    Probably not.

    If you have restarted?

    Have you tried another cable?
The ends of cable even turn on?

go to  > System Preferences > network

Disable the network of preference by choosing configure IPv4 to Off,

    then turn on again.

Do you have a usable network address?

    Haven't you address

Do you have an 169.x.x.x address?

Your ISP provides you with their own address?

At your rebooteted your modem router/hub/cable modem/DSL?

Are you running any 3rd party 'utility' that 'clean up your mac' or any what "anti-virus" or any firewall or network utility?

If so delete them immediately as shown in developers.

Have you removed (use the "-" on the interface) and recreated the Ethernet connection?

  • Connection Ethernet Port speed test

I am a newbie of LV and want to check that the connection speed between a PC running LV and a listening system is 100 Mbps. Is this possible with LV or do I need an Ethernet test (e.g., BERT or similar) to do this. The other port ping cannot tell me the speed of connection to my knowledge (a little).

Do you need to check the actual flow, or you just need to check that it has negotiated a 100mbit link? If the latter, and if the UUT is connected directly to a port ethernet to your PC (without routers/switches/etc. in the middle), there are ways to do this easily by querying the operating system on the network link. For example, you can use the Exec System to run the command shown here: http://superuser.com/questions/412952/how-to-detect-the-speed-fast-or-gigabit-ethernet-of-a-network-... and analyze the output. There are probably also a way to get this information through properties .NET.

  • Connection ethernet or GPIB with Keithley 2612

    Hallo

    Here's my situation:

I'm relatively new to LabVIEW programming and want to install a configuration of measurement with LabVIEW and a SMU double Keithley 2612.

If I m work myself through Labview Beginners Guides and how to connect a measuring device with the first simple LabVIEW program.

Since I Don t own a GPIB-USB adapter for the moment, I was thinking of using Ethernet for the EMS connection that gets ist own IP address. The connection to the PC works and SMU SMU ethernet can be remote controlled.

    Here's my problem:

I can´t find (usable) guides for the installation of LabView via Ethernet.

My 500 pages book 'Introduction to LabVIEW' (as of 2009) doesn´t have even a hint for an ethernet connection, while the GPIB, RS232 and CAN are covered pretty well.

    Here's my question:

Should I continue to try to get LabVIEW working on Ethernet, or would it be better to buy a new adapter USB GPIB.

Does anyone know good Howto for creating Ethernet connections?

Should I just the bad 'Introduction to Labview?

The use of Ethernet has disadvantages compared to the GPIB-USB?

I'm happy to answer additional questions.

    Thank you.

Download the Labview driver for the series of 26xxA from Keithley web site.

For a Visa resource string use something of the form: "tcpip::aaa.bbb .ccc. ddd::instr" where aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd is the ip address of the instrument that you can get through the façade or run MAX and auto-le discover.

When you finally get a USB-GPIB converter all you have to do is change the resource in the form of gpib string: GPIB::XX:instr «»

  • WiFi turns off after connected ethernet cable

    Hello

I have a laptop HP Compaq 6715 b. The problem is that I want to turn my pc into a wifi hotspot but whenever I plug the internet cable - the wifi disconnets. I can not activate with the touch button and it does not appear in the Panel when the cable is connected.

I heard that there is a kind of function integrated in HP laptops, but I'm not sure. How can I activate WiFi when using cable internet? Im running Windows 7 ultimate (32 bit).

    Please answer soon!

    Hello:

Yes, this is a default setting in the BIOS.

You must go into the BIOS menu, menu of sub device advanced configuration and disable the LAN WLAN switch setting.

Save the setting where you made the change by pressing the F10 key and again when you exit (save and exit).

The default is to keep the battery (no need to have the wireless network card using power when connected by cable.

Of course most of the time that you are connected to an ethernet cable, you are also connected to an a/c adapter.

  • No connection Ethernet - Pavilion Elite M9280F

    Hello

I got a new Pavilion Elite M9280F (KJ380AAR), but I can't any signal Ethernet no matter, I've tried since I bought it.
I have Verizon DSL. I connected the new PC with Ethernet cable to the modem (Verizon Weastell 6100) directly with any other router.

I called HP and Verizon supports several times, once again the test runned much and yet once again, uninstall/reinstall, system recovery, power cables, switch etc... After hours, they told me that the NIC in the PC does not work. And I had already sent my PC to the HP service center to be fixed to 3 times (same question, without result).

Well, frankly, HP could not find something wrong on it. I even had someone repair center called me and he said that they tested the PC for 2 hours, that everything is fine and also could run DSL via Ethernet in their very good network cable.

Westall 6100 (modem/router) works flawlessly. I tried to reset it.
Driver/network adapter shows fine in Device Manager.
I tried different cables (cat5) Ethernet.

    I don't have a wireless setup.

Ethernet port LED is not lit.
    ipconfig/all shows "Media disconnected."

In the meantime, I always can get online using my old PC WinXP without any problem (same configuration with ethernet cable, plug-and-play).

It's really frustrating, any help would be much appreciated.

I don't think you are going to use the dial-up modem. Just pull out and use this location. Your just try anyway. There is no use keeping the card if it doesn't. You can return it.

I'm just a person like you and offering my time and advice. If you need help from HP, you will need to contact them.

  • Problem connecting ethernet HP C309a.

Hi, I have a HP Photosmart Premium C309a of AiO. I have the printer connected via ethernet cable to my linksys wrt54g router. I chose to have connected to it as a device wired because of the quality of the connection. The problem I have is that the device refuses to get an IP address from my router when its connection speed is set to auto, 100-Full, a half 100 or 10 half. I'm only able to get the unit to connect by using a link 10-Full speed. I've had the camera for a while now, and it worked very well defined to automatic. I'm fairly certain that I am using the ethernet cable provided with the printer, what should be a cat5 or cat5e, so the cable is capable of handling. In addition, as I said, it was working fine before and suddenly connects is more to my network on these parameters. I tried to contact the HP support, which they have been no help for me. They said that if the device 10-fully functioning unit works very well. They said that they had no network at HP specialists who could help me with the problem and that I needed to contact radioshack or bestbuy to solve the [no] problem. IM confident enough, it is not a network problem and it is more than likely something with the ethernet on the printer or the printer itself or printer port.

I also have a HP C309g-m which works without problems with the speed set to auto

My concern is that if the ethernet port is deteriorating on the device that finally the functionality of the ethernet port will fail soon.

The printer is accessible by several different computers, whose operating systems are Windows XP to Windows 7.

I think it's pretty shitty that support HP says that there is nothing wrong with the unit even if its link speed works only 10%.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you!

OK, suppose that it is not the printer for now.  Make sure that your router has the latest firmware and it is restarted (pull on the plug for a bit).

In addition, replace the Ethernet cable, try a CAT6 cable.

  • Cannot use all .exe files after connecting ethernet cord

Just got a new House and when I moved we bought a new router and has a different service provider, my computer works well when the Ethernet cable is not connected at startup, but if it connected when I start upward or after he used to let me use just about everything, including the Task Manager and windows update. the new router we use is the a n750 linksys.

    Bob,

Try connecting the cable Ethernet on another computer just to check if the problem reappears.

Given that the question does not appear in safe mode, we will try to uninstall and reinstall the network drivers and check if it makes a difference.

First, visit the computer manufacturer and download the latest maps for your computer network and save it to the desktop.

-Remove the plug Ethernet from the computer.

-Device type in the search Manager start and press to enter.

-Browse the network adapters, right-click on the network adapter and click on uninstall. (Do the same for all riders shown under network adapters)

-You may be asked to remove the drivers, press Yes and continue.

-Restart the computer and then install the drivers that you have downloaded from the computer manufacturer.

-Connect the Ethernet cable and check if you have the Internet connection.

-Restart the computer once more and check if the problem reappears.

    Let us know the results.
