ReadyNas NV + 1 hard disk Compatability

I have a NV RND4000 V1 1 + aka and I need to replace my disks 2. Most, if not all readers on the compatibility list are no longer available due to their age. I need 2G capacity. Are the Red of WD drives in the appropriate series? Other recommendations, please.

Diagnosis of the level 3 Support my 1 + NV Netgear has determined that two discs 1 and 2 have problems and need to be replaced. Driives 3 and 4 appear to be intact. They instructed me to clone the drive 1. Yes I have a backup.

I am aware of the limit of 2 TB.

Thanks for your comments and feel free to add more comments.

I received by e-mail a file which I can not open... so I downloaded the Microsoft compatibility pack. He asks me to double click the File Format Converter.exe file on my hard disk to start the Setup program.  I'm not savvy and don't know where to find it!  Your help will be admired.  BF

Hello, I downloaded myself today and when I read your question, I went looking for him.

The only place where I found it was prefetch.

However, I was able to view the file after downloading.

When I download I always save it to the desktop, then the scanner and then double-click it to install. If you haven't noticed where it was installed, check your temp folder.

Or download it again and save it to the desktop.

    I hope this helps.

If I update a cc adobe programs in a single operating system hard drive system, it will affect older versions of programs cc in the other system of operating system hard drive?

If, as you say, they are completely separate installations on separate hard disks, each with there own version of PS for example, there should be no way that they could interfere with each other! I assume you are using a form any of Boot Manager to load a specific version of Mac OS x?

I did something similar at the start in a similar situation with client compatibility and not had a problem with either interfere with others!

However, you share the programs somehow between different OS, so that would be another matter.

  • Satellite P10: Need for disk recovery after a HARD disk crash

I have a Toshiba p10 and the HD broke down. I've had this machine for 2 years, but I bought it 2nd hand, so I have no disks in the system.

Where can I get a system recovery disk and it is true that the recovery disc can work if I install the HD the same size? The current drive is 30g and I would like to install a disk 40g instead.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

    Hello

No, that's not true. You can use a different HARD and the recovery CD disk sizes has nothing to do with the HARD drive compatibility.
You should only be sure that the laptop and the BIOS will recognize the new HARD drive size, but I think that the 40 GB are supported on this laptop.

So if you put a new HARD drive in the laptop you have to boot from the CD drive.
To my knowledge the CD recovery and all devices supported and compatible, you can buy from the Toshiba service partner in your country.

I found the link on the Toshiba support page, so I recommend you to visit this site.

  • Pavilion p7 - 1417c: how many hard disks can accept to my machine?

I recently installed a 5 TB disk (E:\) and it works fine.  The drive that I replaced was a 2 TB WD drive. My old 2 TB drive can be installed in the Bay under the DVD drive? My machine is p7 - 1417c, s/n 3CR2460P90. My machine can get 2 hard drives in addition to the 1 with which it came?

    Greetings,

It seems you have two (maybe three-hard to see) berries of HARD disk in the HARD drive cage.

You can also buy an adapter for the optical drive Bay HARD drive open. Or just join the 3.5-inch HARD drive bay with screws. If this Bay is 2.5 inches, you can use an SSD.

You have five SATA ports on the motherboard (MB).

Some of the MB SATA ports are going to be slower speeds of legacy. You might have some ports SATA 1. You may need to use jumpers when installing the disk HARD SATA 3. You may have a compatibility issue back. It's been a while since I had to deal with this type of problem. I'm a little fuzzy on potential problems when using 1 SATA disk HARD SATA 3.

SATA MB ports five minus the optical drive to the MB connection gives four connections available for HARD disks.

You also need to supply connections (or will need to purchase the power adapters) from food to run five disks.

I don't see what you have.

    See you soon!

    Hi Forum,

do I have to wait for safe trouble by changing the hard disk between the following laptops:

    old or damaged laptop:
    SPA40 model PSA45E - 0013T - number GR
    Series No. 34127882 H

    new/own laptop
    SPA40 PSA45E-001VM-GR model number
    Series N0.34117607H

Thanks in advance for your advice

    Concerning

You can do it. No problem at all. Hard drives are not specific model of laptop parts and with hard drives is important compatibility.
On the new laptop, which you can use different hard drives. Important is that use you compatible HARD drive.

Just do it. After Exchange of HARD drive install Os again and everything will be OK.

  • Replacement of the hard disk for Equium A60-155

I need to replace the hard drive in my equium A60-155. I need to know what is compatible with this model and if the brand of the drive is important in compatibility. For example should be a drive hard toshiba or is it possible to others.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

You n t need to install a HDD in particular of Toshiba. You can also use disk of another company.

It is important that you use a HARD drive with support for hardware specifications.

I found these useful discussions on the replacement of the HDD on the Satellite and Equium A60:
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=23770&MessageID=87207
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=22183&MessageID=81930

Satellite A60 is very similar to the A60 Equium and so the two series use the same hard disks

  • A MK-8025GAS HARD disk will fit in my M10 Pro Sat?

I think my laptop satellite PRO M10 HD upgrade but I do not know if the Toshiba 80 GB HD MK-8025GAS fits well inside the laptop. would be any problem of pins or something similar? I did look at other Toshibas not HD and they are not due to external HD case, near the axis side.

    Can any boyd help me?

The response of the Toshiba storage Division was:
"For more information about using a 80 GB HARD drive, contact the manufacturer of your laptop."

    Yes really well!

    Hello

As you probably know hard drives manufactured by Toshiba, you can find in the notebooks of different laptop manufacturers. Toshiba HARD drive producer is not obliged to test the compatibility of products with thousands of laptop models. Regarding that it is OK.

Back to your question: your laptop model comes with 30, 40 and 60 GB HDD, depending on the hardware configuration. Unfortunately there is no public document on the compatibility of the HARD disk for your model, but it is possible that 80 GB HARD drive will not be recognized correctly by the BIOS. If you wish, you can contact the Service of your country partner and try to pick up a few details.

    Good luck!

  • How can I purchase back level versions of Windows to restore hard disks not bootable corrupt in several Versions of Windows

I have several SONY computers that hide the source code for VAIO and Windows code in the hidden partition.  I can't buy Sony versions of food because they are more up-to-date except one on Vista. I bought the original code for a 2007 Vista SONY and I'm in my third day of restoration of this system. These SONY computers were cutting-edge at the time I bought them and contain historical data such as taxation, Quicken financial and video making tools and souvenirs. I bought five hard drives that correspond to these various computers and MS Windows 7 Ultimate and professional XP I could check the operating systems MS now called counterfei and locked the keys. The DVD have all markings defined by authentic SM, (never open COA label, proof of license, inner mirror band hologram, perimeter edges wavy DVD hologram, dynamic, fix security logo, etc...).  This is two copies of Windows 7 Ultimate, XP Professional complete Edition.  I need trouble Media Center 2005 on intel dual 3.6 Ghz with 2 GB of mem, XP Professional upgrade of home double 2.0 Ghz 1 GB mem and Vista 32 bit.  MS denied that these are authentic and has blocked their execution.  Their solution is to buy genuine from Ms.  Since Windows in backward compatibility where and what to buy to fix these broken MS insecurity not corrupt vulnerable buggy tested untrusted Windows operating systems?

I have maybe two HD that have the same system and the product key, but we are not bootable on Windows 7 Ultimate machine.  Any suggestions for a tool that I can fix develop not bootable would be appreciated.  I tried several such as Paretologic and Spotmau with no luck.  This is getting really expensive general MS deficits.

  • HP Pavilion 9700 series - Hard Drive Compatibility

    Hello

I have a laptop HP Pavilion 9700 (dv9827cl) which has stopped working. I hit the power button and it turns off within 2 seconds.

This has happened before and I had to fix. He has worked almost a year and kaput.

I want to buy an another laptop HP Pavilion 9700 on eBay. Those without a hard disk, the boot up to bios, range from $200 or less. The hard drive in my old laptop works in any series HP Pavilion 9700? If this isn't an idea where I could find information about compatibility?

    Thank you!

As long as it is the same family of i.e. AMD or Intel processor, you will be OK. You may need to load a driver or two, but the hard drive of an AMD dv9700 will start in any other dv9700 AMD. It is not quite as sensitive as suggested above, but otherwise, the story would be that if you tried to put it in an Intel system or even a more recent or more old AMD system the essential thing which must be the same is the main chipset on the motherboard.

For completeness I want to clarify that in doing so technically violates the Microsoft EULA. Your OEM for Windows license is specific to the machine, with which it was delivered.

  • Disk system hard disk error

Recently, I replaced my hardrive HP Desktop (which I bought recently at HP) and it is correctly placed and acknowledged as I could use the recovery CD to check the hard disk for errors. I had Windows Visa Home Premium on the old hard drive and try to replace it with Windows 7 (32 bit). Compatibility testing showed that I could upgrade the operating system. However, when I put in a new operating system I bought from a seller that sells at a discount (Windows 7 Professional 32 bit Branded); the computer will not recognize the DVD. I am booting from the optical drive, it appears as a blinking black screen monitor cursor. So my question is if there is a problem with the DVD as a bad DVD or is it a problem of compatibility. Should I just ordered HP recovery CD or isn't necessary when installing a new operating system?

The second question is how to open files (on an external drive) that I had copied that are now appearing as backup.1 and backup.2.fbw? Can I just not open on another computer by looking at the files and see which ones I want to restore?

    Advice is appreciated.

I'll try this and let you know how it goes. I appreciate the help.

  • T400 problem booting from the hard disk, blinking cursor on the top left corner of the screen

I have problems with T400 (2765-TDG). He struggled with the Setup, which requires power 5 minutes/disable to propely operating system boot.

Computer laptop is less than two months, entirely properly the driver being up-to-date, then after that, nothing's been done about it to user or system administrator. Problem occurred suddenly after two weeks of mentioned maintenance.

    Symptoms:

    • After initialization of the mouse, screen goes black, and the upper left corner white cursor starts to Flash
    • There is no key keyb which can contine begin the process, wait for the reboot
    • There is no other device connected to the laptop, even mouse not
    • We have several, sometimes 3-4, sometimes even 10 times, to restart with the power button in order to get the boot of the operating system
    • When he is successful, just before the start of the operating system, the boot in diagnostic mode to start (with fast start disabled) I can hear only a single beep

    What I tried to do:

    • I changed the BIOS setting to force booting only from hard drive, cut off from any other starting device.
    • Also, changed from AHCI mode to compatibility for hard drive, but without help.
    • Turned off the coast of quick start, but during the startup process, there is no specific error indicated
    • Updated version of BIOS to 2.03 - 1.01 but with no help
    • Restored the default BIOS, no help

Done some diagnostics generals, and here is what I noticed:

    • After changing the settings in the BIOS, save & exit, the computer hangs with a black screen. I have to turn off and on in order to continue the initialization. The settings in the BIOS are registered correctly.
    • When I was able to boot into the operating system (XP), graphics card sometimes is not recognized, not even by the original driver installation. In Device Manager, I have two graphics card drivers recognized traffic sign with "Intel management engine interface" device with warning sign
    • In Event Viewer, and then only error line is "Problem with HECI driver communicating with firmware" or something like that
    • Operating system is not able to enter in standby mode, it justshows white screen and I have to turn off the laptop by pressing the off button longer

Any help appreciated. Thank you! I hope I can cope with this before I send laptop to the authorized service.

    Vedran

I'm sorry to tell you, but in case, can I had to send laptop to the authorized service provider. They replaced the motherboard and the hard disk (!). Now, everything works fine, but puts shame on Thinkpad T series notebook.

Hi, I'm late to the game here, I am trying to reinstall my original Adobe CS after a hard disk crash.  I know that the activation server has been stopped, so I went and downloaded the CS2 version that doesn't require activation.  The problem is my serial number CS is displayed as invalid on the CS2 download, can someone help?  I saw not just a download CS anywhere and their cat had is shown to be completely useless as agent just brutally told me time and again «we don't support that more»

CS2, Acrobat 7 + Audition 3 (AND PREVIOUS) activation server has disappeared, then read below

You MUST use the special version and the serial number on the page, not your original drive or serial number

    .

NOTE that CS2 will not install on a "modern" with an Intel Mac

When you install the special version of CS2 on a Win7 or Win8 or Win10 computer, you may need to right click on the program icon and select compatibility Windows XP in the popup of option
