Real blackBerry Smartphones support staff

Am I missing something, or why are there no number support, you can call with questions of Blackberry, just as if you bought a computer or any other electronic device and had a problem with it.  There is usually an online support you can call.  The support of this kind seems to be for business servers.  What every citizen customer day?

I've updated my Verizon Blackberry Tour to the most recent update (what message appeared during the Thanksgiving holiday and I COULD NOT get rid of it until I've updated), and now my headset does not work.  Before I updated, I could plug my Blackberry on my wireless speaker and listen to Pandora radio, and now, after the update, I have plug in, but the sound only comes through the phone's speaker and do not cut it for the external speaker.  ???? My wife has the same Blackberry and has the same problem.  How can I find a support or a real person to talk about this problem?

Hello and welcome to the Forums!

FYI - frontline for BB is, contractually, not provided by RIM. Companies and authorized resellers are responsible for the front line of official support to end users. It is possible to bypass your carrier and request direct assistance from the RIM, but this generates costs, since you are without your support contract with your carrier. The "Support & Services" tab to the top of the forum pages provide information on this subject. But, if you go through your carrier for support, they can degenerate into RIM without cost to you if they choose to.

These forums are, therefore, a resource for users... not a user-to-EDGE channel. However, it is possible that other users have experienced what is happening for you, in which case I hope they will reply here for you information.

Good luck!

  • Japanese language of blackBerry Smartphones support issues

I just had a 8120 from Rogers in canada and am curious to know if it has Japanese language support. I can't find any info in the manual of junk of Rogers. The company that I work is a Canadian subsidiary of a Japanese company, so a lot of my email of bosses is in Japanese. I did a search through the forums and through the support database perfectly useless. The results of the search of the database of support exist mainly press without any useful technical details which I find exceptionally delayed.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know if a specific model has asian language support is available preinstalled in canada? Maybe a telus or bell phone. Since the messages of the forum by people are not displayed when they find a solution for the problem, otherwise it is not a fix for the lack of support from the Japanese language.

So my Japanese cobbled together install language does the work. I got my boss to send me some messages in Japanese and they came through properly. So my language pack install worked.

Here is the content of the ALX file to launch your own support of the Japanese police.  I've also used these files of three fonts of Indonesian blackberry IDEOGRAM software installation package.

So many people understand my background. I'm not a programmer on any level, so it was not simple or easy for me to understand because I don't know anything on the blackberry OS.

I assumed it would be a good place to find this extra level of support provided by telus or rim. Of course, I was wrong to think that the people here were all useful information to share. So I'll share what I've learned to try to lead by example. Maybe if other people have done the same thing this forum could turn into what I thought I was going to find when I came here to help.

  • Japanese BlackBerry Smartphones supported language for "BOLD" on the British network "three"?

Hi, I've been agonizing over this any day tripe and I decided that it is time to get help. I'm new to Blackberry for three days, so go easy on me!

I looked at various threads on various forums and the most common advice people get to get the support of the Japanese language are to install the packs of far East Telstra language on their own fund managers and delete the vendor.xml file.

I have the latest version of the software from the site Web de Blackberry desktop. I tried to install two different versions, language packs of Telstra, after which no East Asian languages was not on the list to install on my Blackberry. It's as if I went through the installation process, but nothing happened. I tried both install language packs with the godawful Windows installation wizard (* coughI'maMacusercough *-I reluctantly used PC to someone else), and open them with the "search function" in the App Loader, but neither worked.

It would be useful that I could at least just install a Japanese font so that I could read things. OTL

I'm sorry for the late reply; I went back to Bristol for a few days and most of my friends are Mac users.

The version of my desktop software platform is superior to that one in the download of the software, and I use the latest version of Desktop Manager (4.7) while the said language pack version 4.6 - does that mean I actually have to downgrade my Office Manager to make it work? o.O

No, the two are separated. On the device go to options, topic, look for the version in the format v.x.x.x.xxx.

You're probably on a 4.6 device OS version already.

The software is to facilitate the exchange of data between the device and the desktop only.

The device OS is just that it only works on the device.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Support for Windows 2000

    Hello world

I have a beautiful new Blackberry 9700 and I want to sync it with my camera of works that use a combo of W2k Lotus 6.1 archaic and unfortunately the software requires XP or higher.

Are there workarounds I really need connect my calendar etc.

    TIA

Ahhh... I see. You bought the device and the supplied CD contains a RIM desktop software version which requires XP. I have it. Probably, this means also is not the version that would support your version of Organizer anyway. Therefore, you must download the appropriate version of the RIM software and use it as a replacement for the CD. You can DL the version you need from here:

Now, all that said, you have a very recent BB with which you have to try to use a very old RIM desktop software. I have no idea if that will work at all... but give it a shot.

    Good luck!

  • Proxy settings for blackBerry Smartphones Support

It seems that there is still no support for proxy on this model parameters. Are there plans for RIM support this?

    Hello!

There are a series of Ko dealing with 'proxy', but I'm not sure that might apply to your particular situation. I suggest you just go here:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones support to create more memory...

I recently bought a 4 GB SD memory card for my 8830 World Edition via network (GPRS, CDMA) Bell v4.5.0.127

I followed the online instructions to install and activate the new card media. It seems that I did ok and changed all the settings

    media card - suite

    encryption - no

    storage mass-on

    enable auto - Yes

I formatted the card and he told me that he managed.

When I go into options - card support, it shows that I have 3.6 GB of free but when I go into options-status it tells me I have 0 free space available.

My Bberry obviously always crashes with the hourglass that there is no free space.

Any suggestions on what I should do?

I need to move data from my drive hard bbery to my press card and if so how do I do?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

First of all, you have an 8830 and you posted in the section 8300.  You can ask a moderator to move your message.

As to your question, you first want to disable encryption on the card.  If you ever remove the card from the BB device, you will not be able to recover all the data for that.  If you need that kind of security then, by all means, leave it on, but most do not need that and it causes only headaches later.

Second, your memory in "Options > status" is different from what you have available on the press card.  You can solve your problems of memory with the addition of a media card.

You need to move pictures stored on the camera memory to the course to the media card.  If you have 3rd party applications, you may need to delete some of them.

I wrote a post very strongly given earlier on another forum about this problem.  Fortunately, RIM has increased the amount of memory the application available on new devices.  Here is the message.  It should help:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones SUPPORT... for the new BB user

Hello, I recently bought a BB Curve 8330.  I put 2 internet e-mail accounts in this regard and seemed to have no problem.  This weekend I installed the BB Desktop software and tried to sync the BB and the PC.  I should note here that I have two internet e-mail accounts pointing to MS Outlook on my PC.  I managed to do everything the synchronization to the top, calendar, tasks and contacts between PC and BB.  I could NOT send to synchronize.  Now, I do not get on every 30 minutes an email that reads:

"This message is used to carry data between your BlackBerry handheld and a home server. Please do not delete, move, or reply to this message - it will be processed by the server. »

Strange thing is, I get all of them in Outlook on my PC but have only rec'd 1-2 by email on my BB himself.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks jmrmb80,

Who did the trick.  I clicked the button on Bravo, so I hope it worked.
