  • Is power 460W for a HPE h8 - 1360t 80 + certified?

I am interested in buying a HP Pavilion HPE h8 - 1360t (product number: B4J27AV). It has 3 options of power supply. I can't find the basic information about the power 460W power supply option as he is he 80 + certified, the MTBF, etc..

I found a few posts from 2009 in the nets 'Guide to choose a diet' this State 460W power is rated for a maximum of 385W for 12V wires. I don't know if it's still true, efficiency, or if she even has the 75 w 6-pin PCI Express power connector that is required for the cards as a Radeon HD 7770.

The main reason that it is not readily available, it is the reference sites have not been updated.  Example of

  • HPE HP8 1360t DVI connections and two monitors

I recently bought a new HP8 HPE 1360t directly from HP.

I finally got around to get set up last night. I like almost everything about it, EXCEPT to try to figure out how to make it work with two monitors.

Before buying, I contacted HP sales to confirm that this model could support two monitors in extended mode, which means that Office spans both monitors, giving me two times the workspace.

I have two monitors (1908FP) Dell that I got as part of a severance package from my last job (Yes, I know what you think) and down them as two monitors with the office in extended mode. They have both connected via DVI to a MOLEX splitter. They seem to be of DVI - D Single Link.

At the back of my new computer, there are three DVI ports:

-one on its own and it is DVI - I Dual Link (photo below)

-both grouped together and on the side. one looks like DVI - I Dual Link and the other DVI - D Dual Link

When you configure the workstation I naturally just assumed to connect all the cables DVI mail of my monitors for each of the two DVI ports on the side. Nothing happened.

I removed then each of them to test it on its own. Still nothing.

Then I plugged into the port at the top, and it worked. But it has only a single port.

So I went back and tried the other in each of the two and went to the panel display and but it does not recognize the second monitor.

At this point I don't know what to do. They told me this computer supports two monitors, but I don't see how it's done if neither of the DVI low ports to work.

Is there anything else I should do? Or have I not those who simply do not work?

I am running Windows 7 family Premium 64-bit (Service Pack 1), Direct X 11, and the graphics card is GeForce GT 630.

If it means anything NVIDIA control panel says my card and monitor are HDCP and it does not find the second monitor when I use setting up the functionality of multiple screens.

I would be very happy for any help and advice.

    Thank you.

    Lee

    This model uses a card mother IPMMB-FM (Formosa). The built-in rear I/O below;

    (5) - DVI - I (digital and analog output) and DVI - D (digital only)

When the computer is equipped with a dedicated graphics installed in slot PCIe x 16 card, this motherboard integrated DVI outputs are disabled. The only connections that you can use are those on GT630 discrete graphic card. This card must have at least a DVI and an HDMI output. Please post a photo of the back of your computer, centered on the graphics card. You may need to use a HDMI-DVI adapter to connect the second monitor.

    Please send Bravo

  • Pavilion HPE h8 - 1360t: no internet connection

I can't connect to the internet.  The wireless router works and connects the other points to the internet, so I know it works at this point.  I am using a cable to the HP Pavilion and tried a different cable and that did not help.  I tried different plug-ins for the router and which did not help.  Tried connecting direct modem HP and rude which did not work.  I think that the problem is with the NETWORK adapter that is on the motherboard.  In the system, he says he's working.  Also indicates that the drivers are the most recent.  But it is not connected to the internet, so I don't know if he knows.

I installed Windows 10 a few months ago and everything worked until about 5 days ago.  Is it possible to check the NETWORK card?  Or what should I look for and then do?

Another problem that may be relevant, it's that I lost the start menu that should appear.  I was right clicking on the Start button for everything that I needed for a few weeks now.

    TIA,

    Jim

    Hey there!

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A place where you can find solutions for your problems with the help of the community!

I understand that wireless and the start menu does not work on your laptop.

Please try a few steps recommended below.

Step 1. Click the Start button, then select "Command prompt (Admin)" from the menu. This can run as administrator command prompt.
Step 2. Type the following command and press the Enter key:
    Reg delete HKCR\CLSID\ {988248f3-a1ad-49bf-9170-676cbbc36ba3} /va /f
Step 3. Enter the command below in the command prompt and press ENTER once more:
    netcfg - v u dni_dne
Step 4. Restart the computer, and come back with your parameters of connection Wi - Fi free. You should now see a list reconstituted from all the networks available within the range.

To fix the start menu, please follow the steps recommended below.

    1. launch the Task Manager

Press [Ctrl] + [Alt] + [Del] keys on the keyboard at the same time, or with the right button of the taskbar, and select Task Manager.

2 a new task in Windows

When the Task Manager window opens, click more details to decompress, and then select new task run on the file menu.

    3 run Windows PowerShell

When the run new task dialog box opens, type powershell, check the box to create this task with administrator privileges, and click OK.

    Type the following command: Get-AppXPackage - AllUsers | Foreach {add-AppxPackage-DisableDevelopmentMode-register "$($_.) {"InstallLocation) \AppXManifest.xml"}

I would like to know if it works!

    Have a great day!

  • Pavilion HPE h8 - 1360T: Max RAM per slot (4 locations)

    I'm upgrading RAM on my 1-1/2 year old h8 - 1360t.

On the page "Product Specifications and configurable Options" (http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=c03425388 & DocLang = in & docLocale = en_US & jumpid =... , under Hardware Options - memory, it says "must select one of the following options:...") 16 GB (4 x 4 GB) PC3-12800 DDR3 (PC3-10600 on this system turns)' (the only 16 GB option - maxed out for WIN7 64 bit).

In addition, in the support page "HP Desktop PCs - the upgrade memory (RAM)" (generic - non-specific to any model) (http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-HPE-h8-Desktop-PC-series/5258496/model/5261720/docum, under "Verification of the quantity of memory can be added to your computer model", it says "to find the amount of memory per slot, divide the maximum amount of memory that the computer can hold by the number of memory locations of the motherboard. Usually, this is the maximum amount for each type of memory. For example, if the computer is able to contain a maximum of 4096 MB (4 GB) memory and the motherboard has four memory slots, install 1 GB (or less) per slot. »

When I check the options of 'Memory' on www.crucial .com, the only 16 GB option it gives is 8GBx2.  Can I do trust what is Crucial says about it (which seems to contradict what the HP options & specifications page)?  I think that the answer is Yes - that HP doesn't care. and options page is just saying how it would come if I had ordered with maxed out at 16 GB RAM - but thought I would ask before ordering memory.

Thank you for responding to this.

I dug a little further on the Crucial site, and it seems that the 8GBx2 actually works:

    Recommended for my computer:

And here's the review of one of the examiners:

The reason, I was a little skeptical about what the HP standard sheet said for the computer I had before this one, HP said a certain maximum size of RAM (below what the operating system should be able to manage).  There was a post on the HP forums who said you could use the larger RAM size (until the operating system can manage) in this model computer.  I tried and it worked fine.

  • Question upgrade memory for HPE h8 - 1360t

    A month ago, I bought an I7-3770 HPE h8 - 1360 t which had 8 G of memory installed.

    The product is described here:

    http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.aspx?SKU=067371

It has Windows 7 professional 64-Bit.   Up here, no change in hardware or software.

My question is, what is the maximum memory that can be installed.

According to the page specification of motherboard, 'Supports 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB and 8 GB DIMM' - 'supports up to 32 GB on 64 bit systems.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03132942

But according to the upgrade and maintenance Guide, "16.0 GB" memory installable using 4 GB Modules

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/manualCategory?cc=us&DLC=en&docName=c03132942&LC=en&product=52616...

The models listed in the upgrade and maintenance guide is not the exact model, but it seems that the same thing.   And of course the motherboard, IPMMB-FM, looks like the correct motherboard.

So who is the maximum memory that can take this machine?  If it is only 16 GB, then the motherboard specification page is incorrect?  And if the motherboard page is correct and that the machine however is limited to 16 GB, which is to limit the maximum memory, if this is not the motherboard?

    Hello

IPMMB-FM (Formosa) in your PC motherboard supports 32 GB.

I suspect that the documentation has been published before HP started offering 8 GB DIMM desktop PC.

The part of the similar model PC using the same motherboard can be configured up to 32 GB with 8 GB DIMMs.

  • Windows 7 - HP Pavilion HPE h8 - 1360t I added a second hard drive

I installed a seagate (seagate 2 TB Barracuda SATA) second drive on my desktop computer.  When I got to the top I could go to the control panel and not see under the heading records.  Seagate said to go to the BIOS and choose 'Auto Connect your new drive', but there is no other choice to Auto Connect.  If anyone can tell me who is the right choice on the BIOS screen to find and identify my new second hard drive?

    Hello

In the disk management window, right-click on your new HARD drive and select Format to start the wizard.  Windows 7 will affect a Volume label so if your happy with it, just leave the default.  File system is NTFS.  Allocation unit size must be left by default.  Select the option to perform a quick format if it is not already done.  Leave all the other default settings, and then click Ok, and then Ok to start the process.

Once this done, your new HARD disk should now appear when you look under the computer.

    Kind regards

As a result, admission to the victrola will be stereo full.

As for the rest of the input jacks, I don't know what they are for.

I guess they are for something greater than a pair of speakers.

Light blue is the stereo audio input and light green is the stereo audio output (for two speakers or double with a subwoofer).
