  Hi all

  I want to know, WCC has it a function to import or export the folder structure? Is it because I have several environments requiring installation with the same configuration and the structure of folders. It is quite time consuming at the same configuration of installation several times. It'll be great if I can copy and paste the setting in other rooms. WCC has this kind of function? If need can someone help to share the steps detailed here.

  Are you looking for Folders_g or FF?

  If it is old, then you can go to Administration - file management - select - export the folder structure.

  It will create and download a file HDA.

  On the folder target, in the same menu as above - the import folder structure and which will create the folder hierarchy, as it is.

  If it FF, then archive - Select export options - Tables only - choose a table FolderFolders and Foldersmeta - export it.

  Use it to import from the target server.

• Import of images with the folder structure

  I want to import images into Lightroom that are on my hard drive but keeping the existing folder structure.  When I try this, even if I check include subfolders, import images, but everything in the parent folder - all subfolders are ignored.

  You select 'Add' at the top of the import dialog box when you import?  Which preserves the folder structure by adding them to the Lightroom catalog on the spot.

  I have not bought the CS 4 software yet, but I intend to, however, this can be a problem, as I have more than 6 months with a value of sequences, most without the folder structure. It was too embarrassing trying to maintain and also the files in an organized way. I tried various video editing software demonstrations, and all those I tried (including the Premiere Elements) worked fine with just the files .mts, without the extra stuff.

  I also used AE and PP trial versions, but these do not seem to support .mts at all. After reading the various threads on the topic but, I concluded that it was just a missing feature in trial versions.

  What I do (with XDCAM-EX images) is a structure of directories like this:

  Customer A / B of the project / Stick 1 /BPAV

  Customer A / B of the project / Stick 2 /BPAV

  ...

  ...

  Customer B / project / Stick 1 /BPAV

  ...

  etc.

  Im just starting my Lightroom Catalog. I tried to import some photos that reside in a folder on my desktop in lightroom

  I'm in the library I hit import.  I scroll down to the folder I want to import.  (it has sub ) categories)

  All the photos I want to import are greyed out. as they have already been imported into lightroom.

  Other folders appear as they do on the desktop folder, but not this one.

  You would use ADD until it meets your needs. And you would use to COPY or MOVE if one of those that meet your needs.

  I have and how to delete the old catalog in order to not confuse.

  Give you the new catalogue a new name (it asks for the name when you select the file-> new catalog) and then you can use your operating system to delete the old catalog file, the name ends with. LRCAT (you can tell that it is earlier than the date that the file has been modified).

• Restore the folder structure in the library Module

  The folder and subfolders of the library module has been accidentally deleted. The pictures are still in my catalog, just organized folders are no longer there. The section is empty. The files are still on my hard drive and catalog file is very good, I can't restore the folder and subfolder back structure in Lightroom. Anyone know how I can do this?

  Never mind!! I just close LR and restarted and the records are returned.

• Bulk convert MS in PDF files in the folder structure on Mac OS

  Hi all, I hope you are well?

  I have a question that has been confusing for some time.  I'm now using Adobe Acrobat X Pro on a Mac, my company switched a bit put us all to Mac.

  I always used to use Adobe Pro on a PC and can convert batch all the MS files in a folder structure nested containing different files MS throughout the structure of folders at different levels and Adobe would be Batch convert the batch and pass the converts and OCR'd PDF in the same folder as the original.  It is a task, although not required by week what at least one a month, and sometimes on a large scale.

  Now that I'm using Adobe Pro X on a Mac, I see an option batch convert, but it only allows me to select the PDF files and does not allow me to select the documents Ms.

  Nobody knows what is happening here, are my settings incorrect or do I need Adobe 11 Pro. We have 19 other people who need to do so as well and will buy additional copies if we can get this to work?

  Any help and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

• Get-file provides an account of all virtual machines in the folder structure.

  Tried a few searches in the community, but impossible to find exactly what I was looking for.  We have a configuration folder structure in vCenter.  We have some companies that we bought over time and we set up a folder, separate them with a top-level folder and folders nested for different types of virtual machine below, something like:

  CompanyX

  -Mail servers

  -Web servers

  -DB servers

  For the purposes of internal billing, asked me to get a count of all virtual machines for each company.  I can get the count for virtual machines directly in the "CompanyX" folder, but it does not include virtual machines in subfolders.  This is the script I used so far:

  Write-Output "VM enumeration for CompanyX VMware environment Total: $((Get-dossier 'CompanyX' |)). "(Get-VM) .count) | out-file "D:\ScriptResults\CompanyX.txt" - append

  As I said, that works very well for the virtual machines in the head in the parent folder, but it does not go down to the next layer.  Is there a way to get folder do that?

  I don't know if it was different in previous versions, but in the latest PowerCLI version 4.1 U1 if you

  Get-file "CompanyX" | Get - VM

  It will retrieve the VM in the top folder and all subfolders. You can easily check this with:

  Get-file "CompanyX" | Get - VM | Select-Object - Property Name, folder

  If you only want the virtual machine in the top folder you can use:

  Get-file "CompanyX" - NoRecursion. Get - VM

  The following script will get the VM number for all companies and write the result to a .csv file.

  If there is high records of the page you want to exclude from the list you can add them to the $ExcludeFolders variable in the first line of the script. The second line of the script gets all the 'vm' top of the folders page. The third line filter unwanted records. A few lines create the output objects. And the last line written objects in a .csv file.

  I added the Measure-Object cmdlet for the ($Folder |) Get - VM | Measure - Object). Account because otherwise you will get an error if the number is 0 or 1.

• How to remove the folder structure in MDS

  I want to delete folders, including MDS files. It's my folder structure in SDM:

  1.1 com
  1.1.1 wsdl
  1.1.1.1.
  1.2 xsd
  1.2.1...
  deployed composite 2
  3 soa
  
  'apps', "deployed-composites" and "soa" are there in the first place. "com" and "xsd" are files that were created when I deployed my mds - pot. Now, I want to remove 'com' and 'xsd', including all of their content.
  
  I found two wlst commands:
  
  -deleteMetadata: "removes the documents selected from the filing of the application. This seems to mean that it can remove only the files, not folders. At least, that's all I can do when executing the command.
  
  -sca_removeSharedData: "deletes a top-level shared data folder. But what is a 'higher level of shared data folder? I tried to write:
  sca_removeSharedData ('http://k75830:21840', 'xsd', 'weblogic', 'weblogic11g')
  
  But I get the error:
  SEVERE: Problem by sending the HTTP request on the server. Please make sure that the server is in place or check the code of standard HTTP response for 404
  -> response code = 404, error: null
  
  "Xsd" is not a top-level folder, or is there another error?
  
  In this blog, they suggest that I should be able to remove a folder under /apps:

  If you try to use Admin port, try pointing the URL on your SOA server port instead.

  I have a fairly large folder structure composed of images dating all the way back to when I got my first digital camera in 98.

  The images captured by a variety of cameras over the years and also includes the types of images processed with the software. It's a mix of Holy of almost 1.5 tera-bytes of CR2, ARW, JPEG, PSD, PSB, TIFF, HDR and probably more I forgot. However, all formats can be read by photoshop/bridge. The structure of the file is/YYYYMMDD/file.ext. File conversion, per-folder using the standard bridge/photoshop Image processor feature is not really an option, given the size of the structure.

  What I try to do is to convert the entire structure in .jpeg, both for purposes of backup and also to be able to view all images on devices other than those from my computer. It is important that the raw files are converted with their respecive .xmp adjustment applied.

  Is there a possible way to do this? I have lightroom, but if she can do it I will buy it. Maybe other management image, like ACDSee, applications can do that?

  If anyone knows of any applications or scripts (photoshop) that can do this, or have any advice for me it's * VERY * appreciated!

• How to export all the photos of Photos with the folder structure

  Topic says it all...

  I found tons of posts on how to export pictures from Photos, but clearly an important feature is missing. How to export one or more folders, subfolders, and albums to the breast?

  I need on a regular basis (read: scripted) to export all my photos for use on another platform. But I need to keep my organized all files as they are in the pictures.

  Anyone know of a script that can do this? Opening could [R.I.P].

  I work in a large group of engineers to access the servers shared with complex file trees.  Using Windows 7, 8 and 10.

  Is it possible to lock the file tree structure so that cases move?

  It is not uncommon for a user to work quickly, accidentally retrieve a whole folder, move their mouse and drop it in a different location and not even realize that they had done.  There is a period of panic, wondering how a whole folder got deleted or moved followed relief when (if?) he is once again.

  We must be able to lock a folder tree without affecting the access and permissions applied to these folders and files in them.

  Is it possible to do?

  Ask users to work slowly and methodically doesn't seem to be an option :)

  Try to change the permissions on a file to see if you can find a way.  Right-click on any file, choose Properties, and then select the Security tab.  There are also advanced features.

• Duplicate the folder structure of remote local site

  I have often use an installer for Web CMS sites and to create remote first instead of create the site locally using XAMPP and download of all this. I'm sure that DW will duplicate the structure of remote folder if I open a remote file as a HTML or PHP and save it locally. Is it possible to do this with image files too?

  Just tested and it did the same thing with image files. I thought by mistake a double click on an image file in distance would only open up my graphics editor.
