Receive messages by e-mail to my e-mail address

Can someone explain why I get emails that appear to come from my email address?  These messages land in my "junk e-mail" folder and appear to contain suspicious links.  How can I remove these to come to me?  Thank you in advance.

Someone is spoofing of email address. They send e-mails that appear to come from your email address.

There is nothing you can do other that filter the garbage.

    Until yesterday, my Cogeco email account worked well within Windows Live Mail 2012. Bought a laptop and I tried to add this account to it.

  • The user incorrect name/password when you attempt to receive messages on Windows Mail

    For the past 2 years my email worked fine and now all of a sudden I am unable to pick up E-mail from 2 to 5 email accounts that I have set up on Windows Mail. The exact error message is:

    I have 3 other accounts on the same server and they all work very well and the properties are the same on all 5 of these accounts. I have not installed any new programs or updated anything before it happens. It's already happened and I just deleted the account and readmitted, find something has been altered, and then it worked fine. This time I tried to remove the two accounts and readmitted them and they still won't work.

    It's very frustrating and any help would be appreciated. I'm under Visa SP2, Internet Explorer 9, Windows Mail 6.

    Winmail opener has a number of issues, in particular with antivirus software (see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3).  What seems to work for some is to delete the account completely and then close WinMail and reopen it, then add the account back once again, as you did.  It can help to compact and repair the database first (see www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/).  Also check via webmail account is functional.

    I received an email from the so-called [email protected]. He claims that I recently added my address to e-mail from Apple as a conference entitled "rescue e-mail address for...» [my] AppleID. "I don't have such a thing.   • Cannot send or receive messages with Windows mail

    Have been using Windows Mail without problem for more than a year.  But after the creation of a Windows Vista mail 'rule' we are no longer able to send or receive any mail either. Of course, we have created the rule of the 'bad' :)   It doesn't seem to be a way to cancel this 'rule' in Windows Mail?  If there is, we can't find it.  And there is nothing that our ISP can do to help.    Thanks in advance, Pat in Minnesota

    According to Bruce, there is no rule that will prevent you from using WinMail.  One of the main issues however interference from antivirus software translates a corruption of the database.  Check if antivirus alteration (see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3) and also try to compact and repair the database to see if it is resolved to the isssue (use www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/).

    Hello, whenever I click on my Windows Mail, an error message appears that says the following:

    When I click the send/receive button to receive messages, I have the same exact message. However, when I spam click the message, a dialog box appears that is labeled "Windows Security" and ask you a user name and password "Logon at home please verify that the user name and the password are correct for your mail server".

    Does that mean exactly? I'm trying to complete to the best of my knowledge, and no matter what I put in, it shows the error again box and says the following:

If I'm fast enough, I can move messages to another folder, where they stay until I have a chance to read.     The hotmail and Yahoo are working very well.

    I'm not a fan of the AOL software. Personally I would not use AOL as my Internet service provider. I only had a close encounter with the AOL software in recent years. Finally, the problem has been solved and it was not caused by the AOL software but he could have easily.

    AOL has always provided a brand of software developed by others.
