Receive the message 'the required in the INF section' what install Epson SX115

I try to install my epson SX115 but the scanner will not install the drivers I just get "section in the inf file" Please help

I'm sorry but I don't know more easy anyway. You have already uninstalled/reinstalled. Make sure you empty your temporary files after uninstallation and before reinstalling. CCleaner is a good tool to use for this - just don't use anythingexcept the cleaning part inside. Let alone register and advanced tools. The only alternative to those (or patch) is to talk to Epson tech support. I'm sorry that I wasn't able to help you. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • Error message "a required CD/DVD driver is missing" - install Windows7 via USB

So I recently built a new office because my laptop fried itself, and I ran into the famous message "drver cd/dvd required is missing."  I tried many solutions to internet: change SATA AHCI, ATA, IDE; starting with only the hard drive; and the solution that works for 95% of the population: pulling out the USB and insert into another port to the Welcome screen.

Nothing has worked.  I have downloaded the drivers for my motherboard out of their Web site, uncompressed them and put the files on the USB key.  The drivers are not yet recognised because they don't show up in the "Scanning for drivers.

I used the tool Windows 7 USB Installation and WinToFlash to make the USB bootable, nor work.  I have my USB drive plugged into a port DAC - UP, because I read that Windows 7 is not supported with native support for USB3.0.

    Please help me!

Well, I just fixed this problem.  I found a Youtube video on this specific issue, and he said that the non-existent USB3.0 support was to blame.

I followed the video, mounted the USB3.0 drivers to the boot.wim and booted up my office as usual.  This time, he spent the error message and let me install Windows.

    I am so happy.

  • Problem Win7: Device driver (* .inf) within the distribution is not installed in setup.exe. Why?

    Hi people,

We have a device driver (* .inf) to our application that is added to our distribution , we create in CVI. In the past we did copy the *.inf in the /dossier inf directly (using the distribution Installer "files"-Tab "").

Recently, we have followed the guidelines described in "Using LabWindows/CVI to install your device .inf files.

So we have now chosen a significant subdirectory of our application as the destination folder for the file *.inf instead of directly copy in the system directory.

Everything works well (besides the fact that our driver has no signature and needs user interaction), while using Windows XP.

DIFxApp (run MsiProcessDrivers) recognizes the *.inf file and installs the device driver.

After completing successfully the setup.exe, the specified *.inf has been duplicated as oem*.inf/pnf under /INF.

But under Windows 7 the *.inf is not installed. I ran "setup.exe/l * v" for the information of the installation log file.

    And I found this article:

MSI (s) (8:9 C) [13:56:41:043]: jumping action: MsiProcessDrivers (the condition is false)
Of course the step of installing the drivers is ignored.

Choose the /INF in the folder target to the *.inf (which does not work on Windows XP) everything works fine.

Does anyone know why MsiProcessDrives is ignored in Windows 7? It is always ignored or I do something wrong?

    Help is appreciated!

    Thank you!

    Philipp

PS. : The device driver *.inf was written for several OS (XP, Vista, Win7) target according to Microsoft guidelines for this. So it of a universal *.inf file and can be used in each operating system from XP to Win7.

    Good,

    I solved the problem myself.

The problem is related to the DIFxApp.dll , which is available as 32-bit and 64-bit version.

In my case, I created the distribution as the 32-bit version. That's why 32-Bit DIFxApp.dll is merged into the MSI file that is not compatible with Windows 7 (64-bit).

This is why NOR added to this CustomAction Condition (NOT VersionNT64) for MsiProcessDrivers, which is perfectly adapted to the species but of by not having is not the *.inf file

installed in Win7. I guess the distribution building like Release64 it will use the 64-bit Version of DIFxApp.dll. I'm not able to verify that (still works on XP).

But then it will probably crash on XP.

But anyway. We have a distribution for the two BONES.

Quick & dirty solution I figured out:

-Edit-> files distribution: Add the *.inf file to C:\window\inf

-Manually add VersionNt64 condition in the resulting MSI file under component -> (you can use the ORCA editor for this)

So now, in the case of XP, the *.inf file gets installed by DIFxApp.dll.

Windows 7 using the *.inf is copied directly in the windows/inf folder and installs automatically the first time that the device is connected.

I guess you can merge DIFxApp.dll (32 bit) and DIFxApp.dll (64-bit) to the MSI and manage things together, create conditions. But it is not quickly implemented. At least for me is not...

  • Cannot install Trend Micro 2012, receive error message: "your computer meets all the installation requirements, so Setup must stop."

Original title: Problems installing Trend Micro 2012

Tried to install Trend micro on my laptop, and towards the end of this way the message; "Your computer meets all the installation requirements, so the installer must stop." appeared. He then read "Windows update," I clicked on the link and also called microsoft who gave me the link updates from SP1 to SP2. I did (ran for almost 2 hours!) and recorded. I then checked the edition of windows under system and it has not saved the update even if it is registered and installed to my files. Tried to do the foregoing twice, still the same problem. Rang Dell and they sought to find an answer to the problem, but did everything they could. Still no answer to the problem after all. I have Windows Vista Home Basic as my operating system and installed Trend micro in the past with no problems. (Not sure if the following has nothing to do with it, but thought it might be useful a mention). I changed to Microsoft Office 2007, which has already been installed on my laptop for Office 2003, because I found it difficult from the laptop to the desktop and I didn't really want to pay for the upgrade of my office, if I didn't need it.

    Hello

You need to install Trend Micro Titanium 2012 Vista SP2 or later version

    See this: http://support.antivirus.co.UK/trendmicro/kbresolution.jsp?Hmid=53756&ServiceId=51&ApplicationId=345

I suggest you follow these methods and check.

Determine if SP2 has been installed or not?

To see if the update has been installed, review the installation history

To view the history of installation, follow these steps:

    a. click Start, point to all programsand then click Windows Update or Microsoft Update.

    b. click view update history.

    c. find the latest entry for the specific update.

    d. If the entry shows the success in the status column, the update has been installed. If it says pending in the status column, the update is not installed.

Post back with the history state of Windows update, mistakes, if there is.

If the update is successful, if it does not show in system properties run System File Checker tool.

To do this, follow the steps in this link:

  • Receive the error message "this version of Lightroom can require the Photoshop Camera Raw plugin version 9.3 for full compatibility.

    Hi all

I hope there, can someone help me with a Lightroom/Photoshop small but annoying issue.  (I saw a similar post on the subject here, but it was for an earlier version of Photoshop Camera Raw and the answers did not help me).

Whenever I choose to edit in > Photoshop in Lightroom to edit a file I get the message error "this version of Lightroom may require plug-ins verson Raw Photoshop Camera 9.3 for full compatibility.  Now, I know that I can get Lightroom to make the file or hit continue and that he either will get the job done.  But I want to the difficulty of what is the cause.  I'm on a Mac OSX Yosemite 10.10.5, I have Lightroom 6.3 (known as camera Raw 9.3 in the section about Lightroom) and I use Photoshop CS6 13.0.6 x 64.  I tried to click on help > update in Lightroom and Photoshop, but this has not solved the problem.  I tried following the instructions on the Adobe Web site to manually update the Camera Raw plugin that is supposed to be located at (from memory) (root folder) library > Application Support > Adobe > Plugins, but I don't have a Plugins folder (and yes I'm looking in the library under the root folder (, not under my user name).

    Advice!

Camera Raw 9.1.1 is the LATEST version which is compatible with Photoshop CS6.  You will not be able to update to 9.3.  In addition, Lightroom now up to version 6.6.  See the note in this article

  • Update NVIDIA & received the message that current browser (FF) was corrupt & gave me the opportunity to make the browser by default IE & Google as search engine - what happens?

Updating NVIDIA, I received a message that my browser (Firefox) was corrupt and that I had to do my default browser Internet Explorer with Google as a search engine. I had many major problems with software advertising, viruses etc since I updated FF 2 days. Firefox was hacked? I reported these problems and give all the details in the last days, you can find them if check you email from this account (Stephenwolf) or +. +++ @hotmail.com. Go now will contact again later today.

public email Edition and robots to spammers. You should get an email when there are answers.

I hope that your update was not one of those sites that run misleading ads on the search engines for packages of shit... but it sounds really like your Firefox is not clean yet. Here's my method to track down and clean the bad Add - ons and other hijackers. I know it seems long, but it's not so bad.

    (1) open the Control Panel, uninstall a program. After the loading of the list, click on the column heading "installed on" to group infections, I mean additions by date. This can help the undisclosed items bundle smoker who snuck out with some software, you have agreed to install. Beware of everything that you don't recognize / remember, since malware often uses sounding names important or innocent to discourage you remove. Out as much garbage as possible here.

    (2) open Firefox page modules using either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons
    • in the Windows "Run" dialog box, type or paste
      firefox.exe "about:addons"

In the left column, click on Plugins. Set essential and unrecognized plugins 'never enable '.

In the left column, click Extensions. Then, in case of doubt, disable (or delete, if possible) not recognized and unwanted extensions. Remember that all extensions are optional, none come with Firefox.

Often, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.

    Any improvement?

    (3) you can search the rest of problems with scanning/cleaning tools listed in our technical support article: Troubleshooting Firefox problems caused by malware. These scanners on request are free and take a long time to run. If they end quickly, especially if they require the payment you have a serious infection. I suggest the specialty forums listed in the article in this case.

    Success?

Then we can work on the restoration of your normal settings.

  • Receives the Message "the specified domain does not exist or could not be contacted" when starting

I was working on my machine, normally the day before and I shut it down properly - everything was fine.  I'm confused as to what happened between the stopping and starting of the next day!

After you receive this message, he asks me my password for the account of one on my machine.  I've never set up a password.

I have tried rebooting several times and it gives me the same message.

I started to run diagnostics, but he appeared to get hooked on a memory test.

Any ideas on how to pass this message/fix, it would be appreciated!

Your system appears to have been related to a field.  After that, it requires a reboot to take effect.  Once you restarted so he invites to connect to the domain.

There are always local accounts on your computer that allows you to open a session, but they will have a password for all accounts if your system is connected to a domain (as it is a requirement).  To log on by using a local account, choose the name of your computer in the ' log on: "drop-down at the login prompt.  You will need to know the valid username and password for this computer.  If you or someone you know has an account in the domain that is joined to your system, allow you to logon to the domain by providing the valid domain user name and password.

Once logged on you can undo your computer from the domain (right click on the computer in the start menu, properties, advanced system settings, change the computer name, select workgroup and type workgroup name.  Click Ok.)  You will need the necessary permissions to perform this task.

If you are unable to go further, because you don't have a valid login, you can reinstall Windows.  If you format your drive when you re-install you will lose all data on this disc.  So if you need all the files from the drive, and you go this route, make a backup first!

    ===================================================

From a post by Rehman F.

Here are the steps to change the ownership and permissions of files and folders:

    1. right click on the file or folder, click Properties, and then click the Security tab.

    2. click on advanced and then click the owner tab.

    3. click on edit and then do one of the following:

    ·    To change the owner to a user or group that is not listed, click other users and groups, and in the box type
the object name to select (examples), type the name of the user or group, and then click OK.

    ·    To change the owner to a user or a group is listed in the change owner to box, click the new owner.

    4. If you want to take ownership of the contents of the folder, select the replace the owner of sub containers and objects check box.

    5. click OK and then click Yes when you receive the following message is displayed:

You are not allowed to read the contents of directory folder name. You want to replace the directory
permissions with permissions granting you full control?

All permissions will be replaced if you click Yes.

Note folder_name is the name of the folder you want to take charge.

    6. click on OK and then reapply the permissions and security settings that you want for the folder and its contents.

    Additional considerations

7· An administrator can take ownership of any file on the computer.

8· Affecting the ownership of a file or a folder might require that raise you your permissions using user access control

    I hope this helps.
