  I just got a phone of a person who has identified one a technician for Windows.  He entered a dialogue seermed as if he was familiar with the recent problems with my computer.  (I did several searches online for answers of support recently from this site).  He kept asking questions about allowing their technicians to help me with my computer.  I asked for a callback number.  He couldn't or wouldn't give me a.  The call number is blocked. He finally admitted that he was not related to Microsoft, but rather by a www.onlinebusyexperts.net company. Just a warning do not allow access to your computer or give it to any password, etc..  They are just trying to sell technical support coverage.  This look like a call out of the country, based on the focus, etc.

  They won't do anything of any value for you, no matter how much you
  pay them. And if you leave them in your computer, who knows what that

  I had what I think, it was a false call of a man who sounded Indian and who claims to be a Microsoft technician. He was adamant I had a very infected computer and was desperate to make me sit in front of my computer and type something so he could show me how "corruption is gone."   08:30... I just got a call from a man claiming he calls Microsoft (sounded Indian)...   MS has no way to tell what is on your PC.  This is another example of the scam usual ' calls trying to access your PC to enter data and make you pay loads of money for "clean."

  This morning I received an unsolicited telephone call here in the UK fom someone in a call centre (sounded Indian) who informed me that he was calling from Microsoft and that they were aware that my PC had acquired some malware and I sit at my PC and he would talk to me by find. I told him I wasn't happy to do and that my PC was protected by Norton 360, which has been updated regularly be he assured me that he would not have access to my PC. I had trouble hearing him because there's an echo on the line whenever I spoke, and he said he would ring me back, so far he did not.

  A few hours earlier, I received a phone call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft. TO NUMBER A BLOCKED (no caller ID).  Said that they were receiving messages from my computer it has been infected by a virus. I ran the two Windows Defender and Malwarebytes, and as MANY say that NOTHING malicious was detected.

  If you allowed them access to your PC, then it is a problem. I considered reinstalling my OS and change all my passwords. It would also make sense, if you use the online banking etc., to inform your bank that you have a security hole on your PC. This will alert them to anyone using your current password to the Bank etc.
