    May be the remains of malicious programs. Go to start/run type msconfig. Look under Startup. If this entry is here, there uncheck and then restart your computer

    I am trying to create a filter that will remove messages that pass through any information in the FROM or SENDER fields.

    I tried: 'contains + [EMPTY]' and ' sender contains ++ [EMPTY] "(where [WHITE] is leave this field empty), and it does not work.

    The filter I use is like this:
    Does not contain a @.

SO, I went to the Device Manager window and there is no device listed network but when I opened the "hidden devices" he has been. (Why it is hidden I have not the slightest idea). SO, I went to the BIOS and checked for if ensure the LAN has been "activated" and it WAS.  I don't always get the same message "no network installed devices. SO then I went on the website gateway and downloaded the driver LAN for my machine and my LAN and reinstalled the driver... I ALWAYS get the same message and I still have no Internet connetion. WHAT could be the problem? Although I consider myself relatively smart, I'm NOT a computer guru, so be kind and state your suggestions in the jargon of the 'no' then I'll understand. Thanks for your help. I'm out of ideas.

    After the upgrade to Windows Vista Ultimate SP2 Windows 7, I couldn't FSX to load.  It would hang at the splash screen.  This has since been resolved and may have been a conflict between my card graphic and sound card and maybe even my webcam.  I then tried to reinstall FSX.  However, I decided to load up the Accerleration as before, but when I entered the activation code it says after trying that he could not get an answer to the server and to verify that I had an internet session active.  I did, but he always refused to activate.  So I uninstalled FSX acceleration and ran repair on FSX.  But now, he wants the activation code for FSX and when I write this so I always get the message that it cannot get a response from the server, please try again later or check that your internet connection is active.  I have the full internet connection, but doesn't understand why it won't save my activation codes.  I am limited to 30 minutes and cannot be installed acceleration as it wants the code for FSX.  I read on the forum that you can uninstall and reinstall on the same computer as many times you like then why used enable it?  It seems that he doesn't like my internet connection even though I am on the internet.  Anyone has any ideas.     Hi steve, I managed to install in the end.  I upgraded to a hard drive more that I wanted more space and copied the image to the new drive.  FSX is not yet accept the keys during the installation.  I ran the above utilities (see blog Amritas) to clear the license keys, empty temporary folders and change the registry entry by using 'regedit' on the command line, but still his wouldn't.  In the end, I installed and uninstalled three times until I finally installed it on a partition on the drive and he finally accepted the license keys.  This was done on the original admin user account that I had problems with from the start.  I have now it works.  The utility I used was KB928080 Microsoft.   I can only suggest you keep trying or partition of your hard drive and try and install on the new partition after erasing the license keys and temp folders (see above Amrita).  I can't guarantee that it works well.  To me it's a question of licenses i.e. acceleration has been uninstalled and reinstalled many times so it will no longer accept the license keys.  Happy installing! I don't know how is it frustrating.

    My laptop and printer are both about two years. I have the wireless printer set up in my previous home on a different network (more old netgear router). No issues what so ever.

    So I recently moved into a new home, bought a new router and set up a wireless network. Everything works fine without thread; two laptops, xbox, ps3, tv, cell phones, etc.). I finally had time to set up the printer. USB works fine. But it can not configure for wireless use. I get the infamous (together with HP printers) error message that my computer cannot communicate with the printer and I need to open port 427 UDP. Tried twice more, but no dice.

    Uninstalled all HP software and the printer driver and re-downloaded/installed the latest things from HP website. Tried to install the printer and Wireless Setup again, but still no dice. USB works fine.

    And there began my long trip. Here is the list of things that I did without success, and I'm sure I did right. Turn off my firewall (norton and windows). Opens UDP Port 427 (norton and windows). 427 on my router (port forwarding) open UDP port. Maunally added the printer through windows as a wireless device. Manually add a network printer.

    I still get the same error of UDP port 427. Please PLEASE help me. tI really want to fix this and refuse to believe that something as simple as it is not repairable. Printers are cheap and I don't mind buying a new one (not HP), but I have enough stubborn to give my with trivial issues such as this.
