Recognition of Bluetooth

OS X El Capitan 10.11.2

I can't Imac bluetooth speaker JBL to recognize. Icons for keyboard/mouse / Roku show but not JBL.

My Ipad recognizes and connects without a problem. Tried to sync with Itunes, but not able to find a way to do it.

Try unplugging and removing your iPad speaker system, turn off the speaker system, turn on the speakers, and then try to connect the speaker to your Mac system.

    Hello

I'm just new to the Apple world.

Anyone knows if my MacBook 12 retina can work with Bluetooth Headset Sony SBH70 or do I need to buy a specific product for this pc?

Is there a way to know.

Set up a Bluetooth audio device

    1. Choose the device from the Bluetooth status menu () in the menu bar, then choose, "Open Bluetooth preferences" If the Bluetooth status menu is not in the menu bar, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Bluetooth, then check the box "Show Bluetooth in the menu bar" at the bottom of the window.
Note: If you don't see Bluetooth in system preferences, your computer does not support Bluetooth.

  • No device in devices and printers and no recognition of Bluetooth devices

I can not get the list of my devices and printers.  When I click on devices and printers, or when I open Control Panel and do the same, control panel > hardware and audio > devices and printers if poster at the top, a green bar is moving slowly from left to right, but it never ends.   If I select display refresh it will display 0 devices that are at the bottom of the screen
I have installed and run a program called Advanced System Optimizer from Systweak.  I don't know if its use has caused this problem - look at one of my devices is not something I do routinely - but he can do it.  I am in touch with their tech support staff and should hear from them in a day or two.

I also can't find any Bluetooth devices even though I have a mouse and a keyboard that I would like to connect to my Dell PC using Bluetooth technology.

Thanks for the links.  It is found that I have solved the problem but had my answer on the Belkin website.

In Windows 7, apparently, the default setting is not to search for Bluetooth devices.  I had no problem with Bluetooth on Vista.  The Belkin site gives simple instructions on how to set up a Windows 7 machine to pick them up.

    1. in the search programs and files box, type services.msc.
    2. double-click on Services to Support Bluetooth.
    3. Select Automatic for startup type.
    4. under Service status, click Start.
    5. click on apply.
    6. restart the computer.  The PC will now be able to find Bluetooth devices.

Maybe I accidentally turned off mine, but I don't see how that could have happened.  In any case, I put the Asus adapter on my XP laptop - there is no need for any change of configuration - and the Belkin one on my Windows 7 desktop.  Both work very well now.

  • Atrix, Bluetooth, 2011 Hyundai Sonata

I just bought a 2011 Hyundai Sonata SE yesterday. As announced, it had included Bluetooth as a basic characteristic. Whereas it should be quite handy, I have problems with this component contacts by name. Once the device is paired, I am able to speak a number to call or answer incoming calls using the steering wheel controls; However, I am unable to "Call John sth"

Maybe it has to do with the phone book synchronization. Anyone found detailed instructions or give me advice on how to make it work, or if speech recognition is simply too shotty on these cars? I was diggin autour for more information for one or two hours through Google and the Android experience is very limited.

From what I can tell, you must use the guests of the Sonata. It would be nice if there was a way to tell him to use the built in Android or vlingo voice commands. I'm already used to them!

Thank you mullins_j. It seems there was a problem with permissions and download of the telephone directory. The phone is locked, so alerts are not obvious. Once I received the 'Sonata' bluetooth device, to access the directory and checked to remember this preference, everything seems to work as it should now.

  • USB Bluetooth v2 driver Vista 64 bit

I'm looking for a driver for Vista 64-bit for USBBT100 - adapter USB Bluetooth

    I don't see even a 64-bit XP driver.

Vista has incorporated recognition of the dongle but does not feature as a recognizing a bluetooth microphone.

    Help if you can, thanks!

For anyone still having trouble with this adapter in XP x 64 or Vista x 32 / x 64, I found a driver that works perfectly.
It is a MSI driver for their bluetooth adapter of "star key".

Before installing this make sure you remove all traces of previous drivers that can be installed. This can be done by clicking with the right button on the device and select uninstall in Device Manager.
If you are prompted, select Delete device drivers in the system.
When it is completed for each bluetooth service, restart the computer and disconnect your computer from the internet - it is to make sure that restart the Windows system not to download and reinstall the device and services.
Now simply launch the installation of the driver package star key, restart and re-establish the internet connection. At the start of that Windows may want to install a generic device, allow it to do.
Initially if all previous drivers have been deleted completely, your Linksys adapter should now work perfectly.

You can download drivers MSI here:
    http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=downloaddetail&type=driver&maincat_no=131&prod_no=100

Note: The driver I have personally installed was star key: WIDCOMM Bluetooth Dongle Driver for Windows Vista, version 6.0.1.3400

    Hi Hayekk,

There are several things to try:

    ·      Remove and then reinstall the device:

    1. click the Start button, select Control Panel, click hardware and soundand then click Bluetooth devices.

2 Select the device that is not working, and then click Remove.

    3. click on Add, press the reset button on the unit (or make it discoverable following the manufacturer's instructions), check the box my device is set up and ready to be found and then click Next.

    4. If the device is not found, repeat the previous step. When the device is found, select it, and then click Next.

    5. follow the remaining instructions in the wizard.

    ·         Make sure that the device is on and that the batteries should be replaced.

    ·         Make sure that the Bluetooth adapter for your computer is attached and turned on, and that the device is in use and detectable. If you don't know how to turn on discoverability, read the instructions provided with the device or check the manufacturer's Web site.

    ·         The unit may be out of range of your computer, or too close. Try to move closer or a little further away from your computer.

  • I have a problem with installing the driver bluetooth for Windows 8.

Original title: cannot install the bluetooth driver

I have Windows 8 Pro 64-bit (upgrade of Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit).  I have problems with the bluetooth (Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230) driver that will not be installed.  The

error I get when using the driver (downloaded directly from Intel) Intel says "did not write the SupportDLL value in the \SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\BTHPORT\Parameters key.

\Radio support.  Check that you have sufficient access to that key or contact your support team. »

Windows Update also displays several times this driver, but it fails to install as well.  If I remember correctly, the error is "access denied."  I contacted Microsoft earlier

technology has taken control away from my computer and found the same problem.  It disabled all startup and restarted, but we do not have to reconnect after reboot, that's why I'm

contact you again.  I'm guessing that something has gone wrong in the remake because precisely, I noticed it has disabled my facial recognition software, yet when he

restarted, it took even my face.

I am logged as administrator and I have also tried to right click on the .exe file and run as administrator, but it does not help.  I tried

uninstall/reboot/reinstall with no luck.  I also tried several programs microsoft fix - it, but even once, no, I also tried to contact Intel by CAT and they

    were no help either.

I tried also to navigate to this key in the registry editor, but I get an error message that says "error opening key.  Parameters cannot be opened.  An error is

This key prevents open.  Details: access denied. »

Finally, I'm frustrated and ran a repair of Windows 8 (could not restore because when I upgraded to Windows 8 Windows 7, somehow restorations have been disabled and I did not notice for about a month).  Then, I used the bluetooth driver directly from intel and everything works again.  I will say that when I ran the repair, he removed Windows Media Center (since it is therefore more part of the OS, but an add-on), but it's a very small price to pay for everything works correctly.

    Thanks for the help everyone!

  • Bluetooth notebook Mouse 5000-mouse and Windows 8 Pro

My mouse will pair with my HP lap top but immediately returned to offline mode.  I got it combine successfully a couple of times, but he'll still go offline after a while.  Is it possible to transform online?

I tried to solve this problem for hours, admit defeat and get another mouse?

I have the same problem with this mouse. Download drivers and software sounds like this would be a great... If there actually were drivers and software to download... what, there.is.not.

My computer recognizes the mouse... and apparently knows his full name. However, my computer obviously doesn't quite well for a device with her relationship. So it is, next to my laptop, unfortunately and perpetually "offline."

According to the documentation provided with the mouse, after recognizing the new device, I had to follow some 'instructions '. Unfortunately, my computer has suddenly rejected the mouse after initial recognition and I have not received any additional installation "instructions".

I tried several times "open lines of communication", nothing happens. I even checked the site to download several times between attempts to see if the drivers/software had appeared as if by magic.

If anyone out there can help me to understand this point, it would be greatly appreciated! I bought the bluetooth mouse because, frankly, I didn't violate my awesome new computer by sticking a dongle in it.

  • Bluetooth and WiFi 5 GHz - XPS 13 '' Or ''.

    Hello.

I bought a new Dell XPS 13 edition gold (I think this is the model 9550) 3 days ago and it arrived today. Out of the box, I'm not able to connect to WiFi 5 GHz networks or pair / connect with 2 adapters bluetooth audio.

When I try to pair with an adapter bluetooth audio by clicking on "Sign in" from the system tray notification Center, I am able to see the pair of devices, but get the error message "Unable to connect" yellow. I tried to connect to a Sony XB950 bluetooth headset and a bluetooth-to-optical audio receiver Belkin HD 955).

When I try to connect to a Wifi 5 GHz network (using my own Cisco 2702i enterprise access point, or my ASUS RT-AC66U friends), I can see the little icon of WiFi in the bar spots disappear and reappear several times, with a red X over the icon. After flashing several times, I get the error "unable to connect to this network. I can connect successfully to 2.4 GHz networks, but not 5 GHz ones.

I installed all the updates of Windows and installed all updates through the "Dell Update" utility. This figure includes an update of the firmware. I also tried to uninstall the Bluetooth and Wi - Fi adapters via the Windows Device Manager. The drivers for the two adapters are completely up to date as of this post.

The "Dell 1802 A" being used for the WiFi and Bluetooth adapter, I think I have a bad adapter? Please notify.

So after digging for a while, I came across the post following in another Dell Community forum:

    http://en.community.Dell.com/TechCenter/OS-applications/f/4613/t/19634843

Apparently, the Broadcom WiFi adapter supplied with the new XPS laptops has a boatload of interoperation with WiFi APs and bluetooth devices, reported by many in this thread and the problems this forum as well.

I took a chance with the WiFi card with the next Intel 7265 card replacement:

    http://www.Amazon.com/Intel-7265-IEEE-802-11AC-Bluetooth/DP/B00RCZ4I6S?ie=UTF8&PSC=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00

And IMMEDIATELY, the problems are solved. 5 GHz connectivity has no problem with ~ 20 gigabytes of data transferred via the connection from installation, and bluetooth problems are also completely missing. I have to say, so shameful, I had to do this with a ~ laptop $1400. It's too late to return this laptop because I have already opened up to replace the card and therefore cancelled the guarantee. I have yet to see any recognition of the problem by Dell, despite many long discussions on other forums on issues specifically affecting the above Broadcom.

Someone else who chooses to replace the Wifi card, make sure you uninstall both the 'DW WLAN Card' and the bluetooth software "WIDCOMM" of the Control Panel before installing a replacement card.

Once again, crazy I had to do with such a cheap laptop... I will think hard on the purchase of Dell in the future.

  • with IOS 10.0.2 - 5s iphone Bluetooth problems

Since upgrading ISO 10.0.2 my M50 from PLT Plantronics (helmet unique headset) do not reliably connects with my iPhone 5 more. I have to go to the settings, activate bluetooth turned off/turned on, touch the device on the bluetooth page, etc. Once it connects successfully, it will reconnect (if I turn off the headset and turn it back on) for a short period. The next day he does not connect itself but I play with bluetooth on the iPhone again.

It has always worked perfectly before the 10th of IOS.

And, as I noticed others mentioning, the volume is much lower with IOS 10. The maximum volume is much lower. I can barely hear it now, more normal background noise, while driving.

    I did:

Forget this device for the PLT M50 and paired again (several times)

I did a Reset Network Settings

    I don't know what else to do - but it's a 10.0.2 IOS issue.
