  I own a "device" (laptop) and have used Sync to store my bookmarks and passwords online as a way of not having to worry about backups for these courses of frequent relocations due to the OS-experiences etc.

  The 'logic' is that Sync has always intended to be used to synchronize several installations of Firefox, never to be used as a 'backup service' as you did. Plus the fact that the transition to the new version of sync with Firefox accounts, started 5 months ago (for users of the Release - version and about a year for pre-release nightly testers).

  You can try to install a version of Firefox 28 [or an earlier version] of Firefox and see if you can connect to synchronize to recover your data.

  I do you, you can upgrade to Firefox 32 and then update your sync account.

  The first time that you access the books, it's confusing, but take a look on all small three points at the bottom of the screen after you type the central point.  This reveals that there are three screens partitions via slide to right or left on the touch screen.

  To navigate between the choices, some books with a single tap Center, then sweep right or left to go between Audible / books / Podcasts.

• Having problems with the new firmware, how do I go back?

  I use my rocket to play 'learn the french' CD with very short (2 minutes) titles.  I am constantly jump back securities to repeat what they said.  Unfortunately, the "back to the previous track" button doesn't seem to work right now audio books, and I would try to go back to the old firmware to see if it's the "rocket" or something in how I ripped and my tag CD.  (the track numbers are there, so I think it's the firmware).

  The latest firmware available (Build 162351) Ver.1.1.29 for my EA6500 (v1) is very unstable, and I had to roll back to 1.1.28 (Build 146072).

  This occurs when the two bands of wireless network are enabled. The router works for 5-10 minutes (sometimes even shorter) and restart only randomly.

  When wireless networks are disabled, it is pretty solid as a rock.

  Roll back to 1.1.28 solves this problem, if at least I can have functioning wireless networks.

  It would still be nice to be able to use the latest and best however. As long as I would be able to access the router using my Tablet and IE11.

  How did you get the update? The proposed method is to:

  Perform a factory reset

  Flash the firmware manually after uploading to a pc cable

  do a factory reset

  make the config from scratch, not from a restore

  The second Reset clears any old stuff on the router and solves some problems such as you saw.

  Hello. The access code on your iPad is the code four or six numbers you will need to enter to unlock the device. It has nothing to do with the verification of your Apple ID or two-step. Are you able to unlock your phone? If you are, then please describe the steps that lead to your problem. Since you have changed your Apple ID password, you will need to go to two settings > iCloud and settings > iTunes and app store and sign out of your Apple ID, then connect back with the new PW.

  The original video had problems with bad Soldered joints on the battery terminal wires. Sorry to say, this is what it looks like happened to yours. If you are adventurous and handy with a soldering tip fine iron (or know someone who is) you can probably fix it.

  You can Google "dismantling the Sansa Clip" and find all kinds of Youtube videos and other pictograms on the way to get it out without damaging it and put it back together.   Thank you for bringing your question about Restrictions here in Apple Support communities. My understanding of your question is that you change the Restrictions, but no change is noticed. I tried the same on my iPhone 6 Plus running iOS 10 and noticed a similar situation. Please allow me the opportunity to explain how the Restrictions is designed to work. First, I put my limitations for applications, do not allow Apps and together 4 +, which basically means everything beyond 4 + will be blocked from buying. Then I went to the App Store and the first app that caught my attention was NCIS: hidden crimes. This app is rated 12 + and is definitely an application I would not want my toddler to help. It is that Restrictions come into play. When I type on NCIS: hidden Crimes, the Get option is grayed out. Restrictions does remove all apps, songs, books, etc. from view, but it will prevent the purchase, download, and install all applications rated above the setting you choose when you set up restrictions. It's the help article that discusses the Restrictions and prevent purchases: Use Restrictions in order to avoid buying on iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

  I checked on the restrictions help articles, and I understand where it can be a bit confusing. In the help article Use Restrictions on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, it says "You can use Restrictions, also known as parental control, to block or limit specific applications and features on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch." This means in fact that apps, features or services (rated above that helped you, or if you have turned off completely) can he no longer appears on the device if the restriction is activated and starts blocking them. I also tested this by activating Restrictions and turned the cursor for Safari to off. When I went back to the home screen, Safari doesn't show any more and I could no longer use it.

  You can activate the Device Manager to view hidden devices by following the steps mentioned below:

  To work around this behavior and display devices when you click Show hidden devices:

  1. Click Start, point to programs, point to Accessories, and then click command prompt.
  2. At a command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER:

     Set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices = 1

  3. Type the following command a command prompt and press ENTER:

     Start devmgmt.msc

  4. Troubleshoot the devices and drivers in Device Manager.

  Uninstall all software and drivers for printers:

• Satellite A100-225 keeps freezing and crashing with the new HARD drive

  Hi all

  I have a Satellite A100-225 with a 100 GB SATA Hitachi drive I int it that recently started showing bad sectors. Then I bought a Hitachi 320 GB SATA II drive to replace it. I tried the drive and it was recognized right away, so I didn't need to change the SATA speed. I ran the restore a disk installed newest. The problem I have is that the computer keeps freezing and crashing with the new drive. It takes a lot of time to load up when turned on and there is a noticeable to untermittant delay when you drag the cards around solo.

  I tried to run the Hitachi drive test and it comes back fine. I also tried to turn the SATA speed of the drive down from 300 to 150 via the firmware, and although I saw a slight improvement, it is still not right.

  I talked to Hitachi and they say that he could not be 100% compatible, so the problems. Someone at - it else sucessfully set up a replacement for this notebook drive and if so what make and model. Has anyone else had simular problems?

  Years ago, I've updated yet more former Satellite M70 with SATA HDD (270 GB if I m remembering well) and everything was fine.
  In my view upgrade with SATA HDD normal shouldn't be a problem. Do not SATA II because it will not work faster.

  I can't say for sure, but there must be a compatibility problem.

  Let's see if someone else had better luck with the upgrade of the disk on the Satellite A100.

  Have you checked this forum with advanced search option? Maybe you can find some old NET on upgrade the HDD on A100.
