  • dv9550eo: dv9550eo - upgrade to HQ support wireless card

My HP Pavilion dv9550eo since 2007, I learned Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN.

Can I put this to a series 7 with 802.11ac Intel support?

    My BIOS version is l58.

I don't know where we know it's in the white list or not. I also read something about your setup of the BIOS so it will support the wireless cards.

There is no way to do what I can recommend. The white list includes only those cards to the origin of the plant. In your case, the laptop is so old that you won't have the option to use a dual band N card let alone a 802.11ac card. If you explore the dark recesses of the internet you can find a BIOS "hacked" which will supposedly remove from the whitelist but I refuse to participate in such a thing that you have no way of knowing if the hacked BIOS also has a rootkit or other malicious code, he or she will maybe just brick your laptop.

  • My 3000 N200 does support Wireless-N

    Dear all,

First of all, my apologies if this question has been asked before, I have search the Forum but did not find what I needed. Please do not point to a previous post if you are aware of a response.

My 300 of Lenovo N200 (0769) is very difficult to connect to my home network. In fact, whenever it comes to suspend I struggle to pick up on the network. I have updated the drivers for the card and verified that Windows XP is unable to fund the card to save energy, but I still struggle with it. So I was thinking to replace my router with a Wireless N one. I was wondering if the forum members were aware that my Lenovo would support a Wireless N card and if so, could anyone recommend a card please?

Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

    Kind regards

    Johnny.

  • HP Pavilion 9500: Supported wireless card doesn't work is not in Windows 10

I just bought a new card WiFi Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 to my PC HP Pavilion 9500/entertainment because the original a (WiFi Link 4965AGN) is no longer supported on Windows 10. I have the Driver IRQL NOT LESS or EQUAL (Netwlv.64.sys) BSOD a few times a day.  According to Intel, the Ultimate_N 6500 is a supported card, but once I installed it, it will fail to start; He told me that my network card is not taken in charge and remove it please.

Here, any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you!!

Then, you will need to return the o/s supported to ensure that the equipment works as I have said, you use what works for her, not what you want. What you want and what works are the two different side of the same coin.

I guess the easy option would be the easiest route to take. I wasn't going for simple, I expected a little more creative way to solve this problem; workaround to allow W10 supports my original legacy wireless card or a way to remove the restrictions on the white list by HP to enable my new card.   It seems that this is not the right forum for this.

  • Recommendation of wireless bridge

My House has a wireless LAN and all my PC connect you.  It works well.  I have a Blu - Ray player in my living room which has BD-Live and Ethernet connection, but it is not wireless, wired only.  I wish I could put a camera in the closet with the player who will become a part of my WLAN and allow me to plug the inside player, so the player is also on the WLAN.  Any recommendations?

  • Cisco NAC does support Wireless LAN?

    Hello

I know that Cisco NAC support LAN wireless. I sent myself with various brands of autonomous APs. These work very well using the in-band, out-of-band mode.

However, Cisco has been mentioned for Cisco AP, with Cisco switches and Cisco NAC, out-of-band is supported. I tried this today and it's or Cisco's fake, which is highly unlikely, or I have not configured the portion of the NAC or the access point Cisco correctly, which is most likely? I wonder where am I wrong? Please someone advice me on this?

    Kind regards

    Hi Jean Claude,

You can now do out-of-band with wireless deployments, but you must have a Wireless Lan Controller manage your APs. You can't do it with autonomous APs.

The guide below will for most of the configuration:

  • How have use ACS supported wireless users and the VPN user?

I'm new to ACS and configure the following requirement:

    (1) ACS to authenticate users wireless with window AD.

    (2) once connected successfully to the radio, the user must use VPN for remote access with the ASA.

    (3) the end-user will have only 1 common username but different password.

    for example:

    username: password: cisco: cisco wireless.

username: cisco password: 1234 for VPN.

ACS support can this, if yes how can we do? Do I need 2 sets of ACS?

Yes, acs should work properly according to your need.

ACS, we have a feature called NAP "network access profile" where we can define the condition based on ip source or attributes which allow to say if the request comes from wireless device acs will forward to AD and if the request is of the acs VPN will forward to this diff of database.

Basically, we need to use two acs database.

  • Windows does not currently support wireless internet

    Hello

I had to reinstall my laptop, its an OS of xp with intel inside technology mobile centrino. After installing the network drivers its now intel manage networks and non-windows. How can I make it back to windows to manage network connections?

    Hello

    Maybe this can help.

Open management software with Intel Proset wireless (usually located in the Start Menu or the system tray).

Depending on which variant you have:
On the Tools menu, select use Microsoft client.

Or in the Advanced menu, select use Windows to manage Wifi.

    Close the Intel software.

    -----------------------

Another solution is to try to find the only drivers package. Then uninstall the current installation of Intel and update the drivers for the card wireless with drivers with the utility.

  • device not supported wireless network found

    Hi guys,.

I had to change the motherboard of my DV9420US; I bought a new motherboard megabyte Trading, wore the same (444002-001) and told me it was a piece of HP. However, after replacing the technician, the following error appears when starting, and forces me to close:

"wireless network device 104 undetected." System stopped. remove device and restart.

Can someone tell me how to solve this problem?

It begins to be disappointing: I've already spent over $ 400 to repair the original motherboard first and buy a new one, so that my laptop does not work yet.

    Thank you.

    simone73

    Kesli,

I followed your instructions and it did work.

The wireless signal is abnormally low compared to what it was, but the problem is solved.

    Thank you very much!!
