recording in the format pal in movie maker

When I record a movie in movie maker, it is defaulted to the nstc format. How do I save it in the pal format?

Native mode... PAL is not an option in Windows Live Movie Maker.
You will need to use a custom profile. There are a few PAL
profiles that can be downloaded in the following article:

Windows 7 - Live Movie Maker video profiles
http://www.SevenForums.com/music-pictures-video/35681-live-Movie-Maker-video-profiles.html
(search: "Profiles.zip PAL" and "720x526.zip")

After copying the files two zip on your desktop... open files
Drag the files on your desktop or in a new folder .prx and
Copy them in the following folder:

Path to Windows Live Movie Maker profile folder for the .prx files

C:\Program Files (x 86) \Windows Live\Photo Gallery\Video profiles

Once you have the files in your folder of video profiles .prx, the new
saving options should appear when you save to the Live Movie Maker.

I use Windows Vista Home Premium and windows 7 on this computer. I am confused about how to view the slide show of pictures of classic cars, I took at a car show last weekend. I tried to put the slideshow on my external account and another external account, but got an error message in the sense of Windows Movie Maker format is not accepted. I can put slidshows together but how to get the updates and other, I'm kind of a total newbie to know what to do. Is there someone out there who can help me try to get this converted so I can view the slide show in the two external accounts I want to use? I don't know if it is acceptable to say what two external accounts I need, because sometimes forums do not allow the names of these accounts unrelated to the issue at hand.

  • Please help try to copy the video in windows movie maker to burn to dvd

First of all Hello, this is my first but I have read a lot of posts and tried to figure it out, but think I made things worse, I have a dell inspiron 15 something and a panasonic HDC-HS20, I had to reinstall windows and all pilots who, I think I did as when I put my camcorder software I began to have problems He says not to approve a 64-bit program and then it worked for a while then kept computer crashing then a black screen at start up and finally when I tried to burn videos to dvd, it says that I don't have a dvd player/burner, so I will now try to transfer my videos through Director of windows I downloaded everything it says that I need and it transfer files, but when I add them to movie maker it shoes a yellow triangle with a black exclamation point in each sinus and when I press on the bar moves along to play, but no images so im assuming that he does not, is it possible to do what I do, or I need to reinstall my software of camcorder and just hope that it recognizes my drive? any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

Sorry, I can't say I have now added my software that came with the camcorder, the software is called HD writer AE 1.0 and checked the compatibility of my product with microsoft and it says it's ok with a 64-bit, recharged even when software and when I click to create media that he says again in writing destination @cannot find accessible driver , so I looked through articles where dvd burner is not recognized by other programs, but he told me to go in accessories of control, performance etc. and do a right-click on the HKEY CURRENT user but it says nothing about the registry keys, it is said by default with a symbol beside him ab and under said data not defined

    Thank you

Then... because Movie Maker is not compatible with this format... the best bet would be
be to copy video content in a folder on your hard drive, convert it to a
format Movie Maker is compatible with as WMV, then you can import into

  • NO sound when the videos in Windows Movie maker are burned on a DVD

Original title: Movie maker audio problem

I just made my first movie maker windows movie with still photos and music. It has previewed perfectly but when I burned the DVD there is no audio on it. What's wrong?

    Hello

A few quick thoughts on this:

Have you tried your video playback to test after you created it? Also, if you were to test on a DVD player, check the disc on a PC first to see if it works.

Also check if the audio track has been added to the timeline of the movie (video).

Last but not least, experience using audio in a different format and recording your video in a different format.

Please check the above before you write back to a disk.

Windows Live Movie Maker can turn a video clip, but you

  • Sometimes the clips in Windows Movie Maker will not play during preview and not at all after publication...

Hello!  I just create a movie using Windows Movie Maker (HP Pavilion dv6000/Windows Vista Home Premium).  During the PREVIEW, the first part of the video of my film sometimes will not play (view) while the audio continues. Sometimes he will play (view).  All clips are saved in the right place, the file formats are correct, and everything else that I think is done correctly.  In addition, after the publication of the video, he did the same thing; some parts of the beginning is not playing (see) only the audio.  I believe that this can have started happening after a few times when an error message pops up saying something like "Video player has stopped responding, but has revived with success...» "or something like that.

Now, I tried a few things to try to fix the problem.  I noticed that if I take the transitions and effects on the clips then they play but every time. I don't know why this happens only at the beginning of the movie and not all of the film since I also have clips with transitions and effects in the end.  Help!  This is my first time using this program/do a movie (and it's really good if I must say for me... he can win an Oscar! * smile *), but I wonder if I did something by mistake at the origin of this problem...

  • What is the difference between the formats .m4v and .mov?

I recorded a video of 18 seconds on my iPhone 6 p and sync Photos on my mac (El Capitan).

When I try to export this video of Photos on my hard drive, Photos gives me options for

    • Export 1 video...
      • Selection 4K output gives me a 24.3 MB file with a .m4v
    • The Original unmodified for 1 video export...
      • Gives me a 39 MB file with a. MOV extension

I want to store this file on a disk hard in case I want to change it in the future. What storage option gives me the most flexibility and the best resolution? MOV file is larger, but 4K does not give you the best picture? The only video editor that I use is on iOS and mac iMovie.

(18 "video is just an example. What I'm really dealing is a 15-minute video which is > 800 MB.)

Thanks for any help you can provide!

    MJ - lee

    Hi, mjlee,

For your application, I would only export the unmodified Original.  File more voluminous, but of better quality and more flexibility to edit later.

Yes, 4K gives a beautiful image.  But if you go in the m4v form you'd be compressing considerably and thus loss of quality.  Then, when you change it and new made, you could be compressing more.   Whenever you visit, you lose the quality.  In addition, edition would be not as accurate due to compression Group of Pictures.  So, if you can get an unmodified original .mov, I would take this option.  Your unmodified original is going to be a 4K movie much less compressed you can change and go to as high a quality as your application is capable of.

    Best,

    Rich
