    Prasanna-pc

Ordinarily, I advise to use HP recovery media to restore your PC to its original state. That would erase the entire disk, format the drive and install the operating system, drivers and utilities HP.

Unfortunately, there is no support of HP recovery related to HP for your PC Product Page.  This could be an oversight by HP, or it could also mean that HP stock is no longer the recovery media for your PC. They store any long recovery media for older PCs.

You can try to contact the HP customer directly, using the links below, to see if you can order them if:

If you live in the United States or the Canada, details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1

If you live elsewhere, contact details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html

NOTE: once you get through, stay on the line until you are finally able to talk to someone ' one - it can take a while!

If HP no longer provides a recovery media for your model, a few other sites, you should check are: http://www.computersurgeons.com/ and http://www.restoredisks.com/

    Good luck

In expert mode, you may have chosen was the XP must be installed.

If you have deleted the recovery 8.1 of the Tablet Windows partition, you will not be able to use HARD drive recovery option. In this case, you must order the recovery of the Toshiba Arvato service media: http://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx

The recovery partition has been deleted by mistake on my laptop and it was used by another Member of the family, as the system is a mess and I would like to restore it to the out-of-box state.

Standard methods (keys 0/F8/F12) recommended by Toshiba do not work as expected, and so the I found the last method is of order dvd Toshiba recovery media.

This is where the problem begins, as this laptop was purchased in the United States and brought back to the United Kingdom.

  • Satellite L300D - Recovery deleted Partition

    Hi all

I am a fool and deleted the partition recovery on my Satellite L300D.

I have an installation of WinVista disc, and I found what I thought, were the SATA drivers, loads them in the course of installing Windows - no go.

Can someone point me to a DL for a recovery disc or the correct drivers to install during the installation of Windows right?

Any help would be great appreciated!

    > Can anyone point me to a DL for a recovery...
I put t know what DL, but what I write here is followed by: original recovery image is not downloadable, and if you have the original disk recovery Toshiba for your machine, you must order it under https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx

If you want to install own os version, what do you think on Win7?
I mean I installed Win7 32 bit on friends L300 and it works perfectly.

  • Worried about HARD drive recovery deleted files

    Hello

Recently I deleted files recovery from HARD drive on the second drive hard partitioned on my laptop so I could melt in a hard drive.
After doing so, I realized HDDRecovery can important.

But I'm a little confused if you backed up to DVD/CD I did in any case the same utility?

So I have nothing to fear?

    Hello

HARD drive recovery is a nifty feature that would allow you to recovery of the laptop without the use of the Recovery DVD.
You could simply recover the laptop using the recovery of HARD drive option.

But now it's not possible because you have modified, deleted the partition of HARD disk and therefore, you can only use the recovery disc.

I think it will not copy the files from HARD drive on the new partition recovery, because the previous HARD drive recovery contained some hidden signs and flags that advocates for HARD drive recovery settings

  • can partition recovery deleted like a fool, I make a new one that will work like the last?

I had an old backup of partition I made when I upgraded to 7 since vista it was the same size at the HP_Recovery partition factory. in some ways, I deleted the one badly. I have the iso of windows 7 on my computer, I can put on a partition named exactly the same as the last one with the same drive letter and have it accessible by pressing f11 at startup? Thanks for the help. im going to go ahead and try it but if anyone knows the correct way to do it would be great. Once again, thank you.

You can start from your set of recovery disks and reinstall Vista, then make your upgrade again. Or install an operating system on it and it will be bootable.  Symantec Ghost can create an image on a partition and in... Acronis True Image that I think has the same option. Software Paragon above can create image and store on the partition, but to do a cd bootable, or usb flash drive in the boot of an acess partition.

While all of this might be useful, seen reinstall them the files on the partition would be useless in the event of hard drive failure. I use Macrium Reflect, which is similar to Paragon (but not easy) to create images of a disk-based backup external hard usb. In the event of system failure or replacement of complete same hard drive can I boot from my practical boot cd and restore the image on all of my files added and programs including in about 30 minutes. Macrium, Paragon and Acronis can do everything, or even to burn the image to DVD.

  • The photo recovery deleted during cleanup of Uniblue Powersuite

I accidentally deleted photos from my computer when using Uniblue «Powersuite»  This program is used to get rid of temporary files, registry cleaning operations, etc.  One of the topics in which my pictures have disappeared was a duplicate files remover.  When I logged in this program, there were two (2) copies of the same photos, so he allowed me to remove one of the two copies of the photos; actually, if I clicked on the other in duplicate, I was invited by program Powersuite I could only delete a single photo.  This, in fact, deleted ALL my photos!
I tried to restore the system to an earlier date for the photos, (I thought), were not deleted.  However, I have been unsuccessful three (3) times using the calendar days that were offered.
I'm not very computer 'savvy' and I thought that only duplicate photos would be deleted, not all!
I hope you can help me with this.  If you need further information, I would be happy to send more if it helps.
    Thank you very much!

There are programs of software designed to recover the
delete files... some detail and some are free.

The following freeware is an example and you can
find others with a Google search.

I hope you can recover some or all your
deleted files. (no activity on your system drive can
overwrites deleted files and make them unrecoverable)

For hard drive recovery, it would be preferable to
Use the portable version and run it from external
source such as a memory card or a USB flash drive to reduce
the possibility of replacing the deleted files.

  • recovery deleted pictures in the D: drive.

I deleted the D: recovery drive files to free up space on your laptop and eventually delete a large number of recorded images. I would like to know if I can recover these files/images in certain area of the store from the laptop. Drive D: backup is always full and made a backup complete every nite. Can you please tell me if there is a solution to this problem and how to fix the backup program on the d: drive. Thank you.

Your recovery disk partition must not be used for all backups.  It is designed only to store files needed for the recovery of your operating system to Windows Vista.
It would be wise to invest in a good external drive to be used for backup purposes.

  • HP Pavilion DV6 3122TX recovery deleted partition, need to install windows

    Hello

I have a Pavilion DV6 3122TX laptop. System would block extensively when I ever access any file, was not a virus or whatever it is, I discovered it was the HD due to the error at startup screen "error of hard disk, hard drive 1 (3F1)", I ran all the auto controls and diagnostics but nothing improved. So I formatted the disc completely deleted all partitions even recoveries and other (my bad).

My recovery disc can not be read by the laptop DVDRom Red flashes for a few seconds and then nothing happens, "said no system disk. Replace the disk and then pres any key blah blah blah... "The drive is fine I checked. I changed the boot options to boot from a CD/DVD internal.

I need as soon as possible a working windows as a temporary solution. I can't install Windows 7, it seems because of some lock (turns on it was unable to detect the HARD drive). Windows XP cannot see the player because of the requirement of AHCI driver (cannot switch back to IDE) due to the lock of the BIOS. Then I tried the method of slipstream AHCI driver, now, here's my problem I just can't find the AHCI drivers for my laptop since I can not connect to Win to check with CPUz. Can someone direct me to text-mode drivers for this laptop at the wake in winxp x 86 using NliteOS. I'll take the laptop to be fixed at a service center next month, but now I need a solution. Even if you can fix my recovery solution, it would be great.

I can access the hard disk using Linux. So the HARD drive is ok, please do not refer me to change the HARD drive that is not an option right now. (HARD drive was the problem)

    Sorry for this long post
    Thanks in advance...

    Hello

Hard drive error, hard drive 1 (3F1) is the disk failure hard try loading in the Bios pass Diagnostics, perform the test, if it fails, you will need to replace the drive. In case your hard drive is not detected in the Bios, you must reinstall the part of the rear panel.

    Hello

There is no option of downloading an Image of recovery media, but here is another solution, you can try.

Before you try the following, make sure that you can always read the character product activation key 25 on your label Windows COA (5 blocks of 5 alphanumeric games).

An example of a COA label can be seen here.

You can create a Windows 7 installation disc yourself using another PC - just download the good Disk Image ( must be the same version that originally came with your laptop - IE Windows 7 Edition Home Premium, professional etc. ) from the link below and use an app like ImgBurn to burn the ISO correctly on a blank DVD - a guide on the use of ImgBurn to write an ISO on a disc hereis.  The source of the Image is Digital River.

    Images of Windows 7.

Use the disk to perform the installation, enter the activation key of Windows on the label of the COA at the request and once the installation is complete, use ' 'phone Method' described in detail in the link below to activate the operating system -this made method supported by Microsoft and is popular with people who want to just have a new installation of Windows 7 without additional software load normally comes with OEM installations.

    http://www.kodyaz.com/articles/how-to-activate-Windows-7-by-phone.aspx

All pilots additional and the software, you may need can be found here.
