Recovery disc Creator program does not work

I bought a new Tecra, because I have Nero to burn discs, I removed Sonic my system and after that I recognized that recovery disc Creator program does not work!
I reinstall Sonic using Toshiba Application install, but nothing has changed and said: my recovery disc Creator program. "shortcut is broken!
I searched the Forum, but could not find any solution
is there anywhere to download recovery disk creator program?

Hello

the link is still present? If so, right-click on the shortcut and tell what program or the name of the program is linked. Maybe we can find something to take home your recovery disk creator.

You know, that sounds really weird that a program always disappears after reinstalling the burning program sonic. Maybe it s just a special option or something that needs to be enabled.

Welcome them

For some strange reason, this often happens with Internet Explorer. You could try to install the Chrome browser, and try again.

The Magentic program does not work with newer versions of windows

    Hello danielbrauer,

The magnetic site says the requirements are for Windows XP or higher. However, it is not on the Windows Vista or the Windows 7 Compatibility Center.

You can try the following to see if it will help with compatibility. If the program is not compatible, then you try to install and run the program in compatibility mode.
    Use the following steps:
    (1) right click on the program
    2) click Properties
    3) click on the Compatibility tab
    (4) select run this program in compatibility mode and select Windows Vista or other operating system, the program has been run successfully.

Check out the link here: make sure to run older programs in this version of Windows

If this does not help, you can contact the magnet to see if they have an updated version.

  • Add/Remove Programs does not work with some programs in XP

Why add and remove program does NOT work on some programs. These are programs on a computer that was created using a process of the image. Like ghost?

If you have a third party app that will not uninstall, I think I might check the support page for this application and see what they have to say about it.

Some AV products have obtained quite complicated that add/remove programs is not the recommended way to remove them, so some companies have developed their own removal procedures and some have special programs to manage their affairs.

Norton/Symantec has a special page for you:

I see that just goes through Add/Remove programs too, but there is an option "what happens if it does not work" too (or post in the forums).

  • My MSN mail program does not work

My MSN mail program does not work. I had the computer at a Staples office supply store to get a verified cd drive. They said they were doing free computer cleaning. I said yes. When it was finished, I took the computer home and Premium MSN mail program would not be executed. Error messages say files are missing. I downloaded a file and then another message poped saying another file was missing. I got at Staples and I don't think they know how to fix it. I guess that the program needs to be reinstalled. My concern is that there are folders with important emails in them. They are erased if I re-install the program? Where should I go to re - install.

    popup vprotect

I am (and have for years) running windows Vista.

for the last two weeks, I've been making a Microsoft upward (supposidly), saying vprotect program does not work.   It is, to my knowledge, not something that I have loaded.

I have to cancel the pop up all the time--seems to pop up when you access an electronic internet/e-mail connection.

I tried looking for this "program", so I can delete or reload... but can not find or get the search results negative for vprotect!

    Any ideas?

I use the paid version of AVG - 7 have been for about two years.

    Thanks for all the ideas.

If this is not Vista compatible, read the info on the link above.
It works for some programs, but not all.

  • Satellite P200 - Product Recovery Disk 2/2 does not work

    Hello

because my laptop (Satellite P200 - I bought in December 2007) does not work more properly - and when, after a lot of cleaning it still wasn't working properly - I decided to start from the beginning and restore the operating system with 2 product recovery cd / dvd.

Recovery disk 1/2 worked well - Windows Vista Home Premium product is loaded again on my computer.

But what abot * Disck2/2 product recovery? *
At one point, the recovery program calls for a 'supplement' but when I put in the product recovery disc 2/2 at this time, that the program does not recognize the disc. During the rest of the recovery program the program didn't ask for Product Recovery Disk 2/2, so the content of this CD-ROM/dvd now is not loaded on my laptop.

    Someone had this problem too?
What do you have on this?
Is this a problem for not loading the content of the product recovery disc 2/2 (I can go without it?)?

Thanks in advance for any response!

    Hello

    > Products 1/2 worked well - Windows Vista Home Premium recovery disc is loaded again on my computer.

I put t know which modules the tool called for, but AFAIK the Toshiba image contains the operating system Vista, Toshiba drivers and additional software.
So if you've recovered the laptop using the recovery disk Toshiba 1 then the laptop must be set to the SAME State as at the first day of the purchase.

PS: what files you can find on the second disk?

  • Satellite L650-12 q - recovery of Windows 7 does not work

    Hello

I have Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) edition in my laptop Toshiba Satellite (L650-12 q) and after a new start the Windows stopped working. I have a recovery disk that does not load (I'm done with the pointer in a blank screen) and the drive to install windows 7 would not work either (same thing). Safe mode no longer works.

This probably means that the partition has a problem I'm wrong? -J' used Ubuntu Live CD, which confirmed that c:\ cannot be mounted while d:\ can.

The problem however is double: a) I'm not sure that aspect of my data is accessible or not (I can't check) and b) I can't reinstall Windows, as Windows 7 installation process does not work.

Any ideas please on what to do next? I want to access the partition, have searched on the internet (even tried with a Windows 98/XP boot disk), but had no chance that the partition is written in a newer way, which is not detected by them...

    Thank you in advance.

    > I have a recovery disk that was not loaded (I'm done with the pointer in a blank screen)...
Do you use it for the first time?

In any case, try to start the recovery disk, follow these steps:
-Launch the laptop model and when you see the Toshiba screen home press F12 repeatedly to enter the boot options
-When the boot menu appears to place the recovery disc into the optical disc drive
-in the menu choose the CD/DVD drive and press ENTER
ODD must start recovery disc playback.

What happens when you do this?

Thanks for the reply with the details,

You can activate the Device Manager to view hidden devices by following the steps mentioned below:

To work around this behavior and display devices when you click Show hidden devices:

    1. Click Start, point to programs, point to Accessories, and then click command prompt.
    2. At a command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER:

      Set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices = 1

    3. Type the following command a command prompt and press ENTER:

      Start devmgmt.msc

    4. Troubleshoot the devices and drivers in Device Manager.

    For more details: click here

Uninstall all software and drivers for printers:

When you need to uninstall a driver completely, the best and safest method is to use the uninstaller of the device (if it has one). If you have added the device to your system with a Setup program (as is the case with most of the graphics card and sound card drivers, for example), you can uninstall it as you would any other program.

    1. Click Start, type uninstall program, and then press enter.
    2. In the uninstall window, which appears, scroll through the list and find your device or drivers. Double-click the entry to start the uninstall process.

Sometimes devices will not have an uninstall program or the uninstall program will not appear in the list. In these cases, you can use Device Manager to remove the driver completely.

    1. Click Start, type Device Managerand press enter.
    2. Find and double click on the category of the device you want to uninstall (for example, the graphic card would be listed under display card) driver.
    3. Right click on the device, and then click Uninstall.
    4. Windows prompts you to confirm the removal of the device. Click OK to remove the driver.
    5. Once the uninstall is complete, restart your computer as soon as possible.

Once the above steps are done, click here to download the full software features for your printer and follow the Setup process to start to use your printer again.

I would like to know if these measures worked for you.  If they did, it's great!  Give us some reinforcements by clicking on the solution and laurels, buttons that help and others see that we have the answers!

When I try to open this accounting program, the command window opens and a text flashes on the screen, then it goes to a blinking cursor.  This program works very well under Windows 2000.  Is there a way to make it work in XP SP3?

Unlike earlier versions of Windows, Windows XP does not rest on the BACK, and as a result, Windows XP does not have a program to do many things that would allow BACK.

On the other hand, is Windows 2000, such as Windows XP, based on Microsoft's NT operating system, and in general, a program that runs on Windows 2000 must run under XP.  You can compare, for example,
Troubleshooting in Windows XP MS-DOS-based programs

    with

Troubleshooting MS-DOS-Based in Windows programs (that applies to Windows 2000)

and you will see that the documents are virtually identical.

If the suggestions of "Troubleshooting" in the article XP don't help not (in fact, before judge you), see if you can get your old application work using the Compatibility Mode of Windows XP program.  If the configuration in Windows 2000 does not work, try Windows 95.

  • Vista laptop - programs does not work

So, I was recently lucky enough to meet your typical Vista Security 2011 virus on my Dell laptop.  We met in the past I would be redemarrer to restart in safe mode, run the malware and generally she finds and remove it.  Well, this time I do the same thing as in the past, he finds it, but currently no program will run in normal mode.  I can get into safe mode, start the .exe files and others, but not in normal mode.  I combed the advice and tried several options that include:

    * Various /scans, Malware, AVG, etc.
    * Regedit, replacement of the exe, exefile, ' 1%"...and so on.
    * Find a vista_fix.exe file and I tried to use it last night, he merged, said to reset the computer, but nothing has changed
    * Microsoft Fixit (only runs in normal mode, but does not work... can not run it, he never completed create a control point)

I can see pretty good most of these responses when searching on different boards, but none of them does not seem to work.  Just to get into the detail here, I don't receive any message when I try to run a program, nothing happens and it crashes windows Explorer.  Also, if I'm in normal mode and try to run something like cmd, regedit, msconfig, it crashes the window start and I can't use it anymore.

I tried to go to the restore points, but nothing doesn't count, as does nothing when I try to run a file.  Oh and the internet works, so I can use it.  I also usually able to use malware, but he found nothing more.  I really am out of town on a laptop now, so I can't play with it atm, but I would love any assistance people can provide to combat this virus.  I'll get an external hard drive to back up all our photos, music, files once I get back and will just wipe soon if nothing works.

    Thanks in advance.
