Hello

To use the recovery to factory with an Acer, you press the LEFT Alt + F10 keys at startup.

"With the help of the outside Windows Recovery Management"

http://Acer.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/A_ID/2631

Note: During the process, all data stored on your computer will be overwritten. This means that all of your files, such as e-mail and photos, will be deleted. Therefore, we recommend making a backup of all data before starting the recovery process...

Use the following steps to start the system recovery:

  1. Restart the computer.
  2. When the Acer logo appears on the screen, press the left Alt and F10 keys.
  3. If you are prompted with a Microsoft Windows splash screen, press the Enter key.
  4. After that the Acer eRecovery Management application is loaded, select your type of restore.
  5. Read the review and then click Next when you are ready.
  6. Click next to start the restore process. Restoration can last from 10 minutes up to an hour.
  7. Once the recovery is complete your computer will load Windows and start the installation of your software and drivers. Your computer may restart several times during this process. Once they are all completed, your computer will be like it was when you bought it first.

If the steps above do not work, you will need to use recovery media to restore your system. If you don't have an Acer recovery media set, you can buy a game online.

See you soon.

I have a HP pc only to return some malware a few weeks. Tried to remove it and restart got the Startup Repair. Who ran, but received a message that the problem could not be resolved automatically. Tried several times but without success.

Then I tried the system restore, which seemed to work. It should restart the process and I got a screen that says Windows Recovery error. Gave me a few options but also safe mode start Windows normally. If so start normally, just screen becomes black and hangs there. I tried in safe mode, a list of drivers starts, then stops at crcdisk.sys and I get a box that says that I can't get into safe mode because Windows has not finished the installation.

Then I tried the HP recovery disks to restore the factory settings. Crossed reinstall it without problems and clicked on Finish to reboot and continue. It goes through the process some, restarts a few times and the final reboot immediately comes the same Windows error recovery screen. I tried several times and made sure the only cool things are the monitor, the keyboard, the mouse and the cord. I also tried to remove one of the memory two sticks and the sound card that is not the original. Memory sticks are original.

I thought it was the failure of hard drive and bought a new one last nite and was installed. Ran the recovery disks appeared once again, as he worked but got the same error Windows Recovery screen after a reboot.

Any ideas of what I can do? I can't go in safe mode at all.

    Thank you!

Edit - I forgot to mention that I have managed to get into the manufacturers menu and delete the original hard drive and tried to do the reinstall, but got the same error.

Fixed it got! Found the answer in another thread here. It's a problem witht Nvidia Geforce card I have and the DVI output. Think an update or something hit malware but all I had to do was remove the video card, plug a VGA instead of DVI cable and I was able to complete reinstall it! Everything works except the sound now. Trying to get that fixed and reinstall the video card later today.

  • Windows Recovery error screen: cannot get my computer to start!

After using my computer for a long period of time, I set it down for a few hours. When I put it up again, the screen was blank and I couldn't get out of hibernation. I manually turned off and restarted. Reboot, I had the Windows recovery error screen, where I was given the opportunity to 'launch Startup Repair' or 'start windows normally '. At the launch of the repair, the screen empties for a few seconds and returns to the error page. When you try to start windows normally, the system rebooted and returned to the error page. I did nothing durastic which would result in this error. Windows was preinstalled and came with any disks. How can I fix my computer and recover my files? My computer is a laptop Gateway MD.

Have you tried from disk running of all of the above programs.  Of course, some of them managed from the disk as the Startup Repair and system restore.  Others such as SFC and chkdsk or event viewer can be run from the disk by using the command line option (and instructions above on orders to enter).

Startup Repair and system restore has nothing to help?  Try these other options from the command prompt on the drive if you can't even in Mode safe (which is not a good sign).

    Good luck!

    Hello

This process will allow you to do a Vista repair disc. This isn't an installation disc, but will allow you to use the Vista Recovery Console that is available on commercial versions of Vista.

Download the file from the link below.

    Vista 64-bit

It is a zipped file.  If you do not have an extraction utility installed, download and install 7-Zip, when installed, right-click on the zipped folder, select extract files and then click Ok.  You should now see another folder containing the ISO file.

You will need software to burn the ISO to a CD.  If you don't have that guy on the software installed, download and install ImgBurn and use it to burn the ISO to a CD.

Once you have created the Vista repair disk, follow the guide on the link below to see if it undertakes to repair your installation - you may need to run this several times.

Your post shows your PC than the execution of win10, but it comes preinstalled with Win8x.  This means that at some point, you've done setting at Win10 level, and unfortunately, that corrupts the information of HP recovery: HP Recovery Manager blocked after Windows 10 Upgrade - HP Support Forum's - 5170752

Once you do this upgrade, the ONLY way to perform a recovery after that use HP recovery media.

Ordinarily, I advise to use HP recovery media to restore your PC to its original state. That would erase the entire disk, format the drive and install the operating system, drivers and utilities HP.

Unfortunately, there is no support of HP recovery related to HP for your PC Product Page. This could be an oversight by HP, or it could also mean that HP stock is no longer the recovery media for your PC.

You can try to contact the HP customer directly, using the links below, to see if you can order them if:

If you live in the United States or the Canada, details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1

If you live elsewhere, contact details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html

NOTE: once you get through, stay on the line until you are finally able to talk to someone ' one - it can take a while!

    ---------------------------------------
However, HP customer care is generally not available on weekends, so you will have to wait until Monday to contact them.

A question: did you create recovery media and try to install the recovery DVD or USB recovery image?

In my opinion you shouldn't change anything. I assume that your laptop is guaranteed valid so I think you should contact Toshiba service provider and ask for help. If there is a problem with the HARD drive, you should get a new one for free.

  • recovery error code: 0xe0ef0003

When I tried to recover windows 7 recovery DVD that I created from the recovery partition, I got the error code: 0xe0ef0003 and the PC did not run windows again, so I can't start it anymore, the model is HP G62-121EE... Please help. I think that the problem is not a software problem.

    Thank you

It could be other material causing the closure downwards during the test, unfortunately there is no good way to understand what it is, you may have to send in repairs or try another hard drive to see if that solves the problem.

  • Drive HARD on Satellite L750-22Z recovery error

    Hello

I tried to do HARD drive recovery. It was fine until instaliation. And after the 1% error message (1117) maybe someone knows what is a problem?

How do I recover HARD drive without errors L750-22Z?

    > How to HARD disk without errors L750-22Z recovery?
Very interesting question. If the recovery image is ok there is no reason for the message error.

Did you create the recovery disk?
If so try to install the recovery image using the recovery disk.

  • Satellite A305-S6992E recovery error

I have a set of two disks of Vista SP1 disks for my A305-S6992E.

I tried to move the HARD drive to a larger and bought a HARD drive and installed.
I put the recovery disk and click on it to return the computer to factory settings.

It took a lot of time, reading data from the disk, then creating files and complete the installation.
Restart the computer, I get the little scroll bars green, while the load Vista, happens on the pretty blue-green screen, and it said "Please wait while windows continues to set up your computer...". "then I get an error dialog that says:

+ The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. Windows Setup cannot continue. To install Windows, click "OK" to restart the computer, and then restart the installation. +

I have read several forums saying to use the F8 option at startup to repair, but repair is not an option in the start menu. My choice of boot mode safe and ends with start Windows normally.

I tried to re - run the program of recovery disks and messed with a few variations (with or without re-partitioning, verification of memory, etc.), but still, it returns to the same spot and stops with the same error.

    Any advice greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Hi mate

You said that you have upgraded the HARD drive.
Have you noticed the same problem installing using the old HDD?
Please check this! It would be useful to know if the new HARD drive could be the problem.

I also recommend to check the BIOS.
There is an option (or should be) called SATA mode. Try putting it in compatibility mode and then try to reinstall the operating system

  • Tecra M3: recovery error 70%

You just bought a tecra m3 that 5 months by Ebay, has perfectly worked until I decided to perform a system restore. As usual, I went through the normal stages by inserting the cd and C button, then back to 1 and 1. The problem on when the system restore process are about 70 percent and it comes out with an error message. Tried it many times but still give the same results.

Finally frustrated I installed an original copy of windows xp professional on the computer and restart it as usual. Everything was fine and work until I downloaded the software from the graphics driver from the toshiba Web site and installed. While it was installing, it appeared a message saying that file called nv4_mini.sy. So now everything works, but I couldn't have the graphics card to perform general graphics being very lag.

The laptop model, I said in passing is Tecra M3 with the PTM30E-OR5019EN model number.

    Hello

Eventually the restoration error message to 70% because the recovery CD has a malfunction. Perhaps a scratch on the surface of the CD.
You suggest however that you have installed the original Windows operating system.
Usually after the initial installation of Windows OS, you must install the drivers of Toshiba in the right order.
I don't know if you have installed the Toshiba drivers all or only the graphics driver, but it is important that you will install the chipset utility first.
Then common modules if they are available.

    Hi nox,

    Strange what s...

In the worst case, it s associated with RAM or HARD disk as Akuma writes. So download these special testing tools! :)

  • VPCF-22SFX recovery error code: 385

The disk of 5 against 5, towards the end of the part of the copy of the file, an error screen appears with the error Code: 385. "An error occurred during the execution of an application."

I had cleaned up my drive, so there is no recovery partition, only the recovery disks. The discs are fine and I see that some of the files have been copied no disc 5.

What is this error? How to get around? What is sanitation?

I received the new recovery media. Installed a system of fees, new recreated recovery media. The newly generated recovery support properly installed. There was obviously a flaw in the installed system software which prevented the accurate recovery media must be created. I appreciate the quick response of the Sony Advanced Client answer to this team and make it right.

My recommendation, always make a copy of the master boot record partition and partitions 1 and 2 so they can be restored on a new drive, if need be, and recovery media is not practical or useful.

  • Soft recovery error

I'm upgrading from my hard drive to a larger. I created my discs of recovery without any problem. When I try to use them, the recovery gets through formatting the drive and starts to install the operating system, it gives me the error message "Recovery Manager is unable to restore your computer by using the original image. Please contact HP support. Error code: 0xe0ef0003. I need help to work around this problem. Thank you.

Were the recovery disks created when you got at the origin of the computer or later.  Llthe disk may be defective or you got a bad image and you'll have to order new.

If you live in the USA/Canada, call HP at this number 1-800-334-5144 and see if you can still get a set of recovery disks.  Is also via the website in the world:

Suggest that you also perform hardware diagnostics from the BIOS.  There may be a problem with the memory or the new hard drive is defective at first.

  • Re: Satellite A210 - Setup Toshiba Vista Recovery error

    Hello

Last February, I bought Toshiba Satellite A210. Yesterday, I had to reinstall the system to obtain the original factory using CD DVD recovery setting. I followed the step shown on the display until I came to the scene "Format partitions. Start to copy No 1/5 to 4/5 things that I forgot the name, what happened to copy and suddenly I get an error saying that it could not copy data or an error of data redundancy check failure and "Please press any key to continue" and I press a key to continue, and suddenly the cmd window disappeared.
I realize it was shown another cmd window on the bottom, and when I maximize the window I don't see is something like

    X:\widowns\system32

I didn't understand what I need to do. If I restart the system and do same thing again and I get the same error.
First of all, I thought that my HARD drive is perhaps a foul on him so I used my one other original cd of Windows Vista to install Vista to see if my HARD drive is correct.

During installation, I see 4 partition and one of them saying WinRE. In any case, I have install my vista. But I need original cd data recovery, so I can install the driver.

Then later, I tried to use DVD CD-recovery and I get the same error I describe above.

Does anyone know what was wrong?
It is very difficult to call from the night to the Toshiba Help Center so I will try to get an answer in this post.

Thank you for reading my post.

    Kind regards

    Hello

I got my A210 laptop several times and had this problem once.
In my case the black cmd window appeared and I didn t know that I have to do.
So I closed that window and nothing happened.
Now, I know that I have to leave everything until the installation process would end.

But listen buddy; you said that you have installed the Vista using an original DVD of Microsoft Vista. Well well, in that case you n t need the recovery DVDs for the Toshiba driver installation.
All need Vista drivers are available on the European driver Toshiba page.

Check the driver page, select your model laptop, then you should get all the necessary drivers for Vista!

    Good bye
