• Real big problem!

  Got an acer G3620 predator and ive since July without any problem at all. But noticed that the acer logo or the bios would not show the startup until it reaches windows 8 entry then I get a picture on screen, before his message "no signal available. Now this happened after the first installation and install when I started everything first when new.

Ive also tried another graphics me card pc companions is an old ati 5450 but still no signal on startup monitor and install... so im at a loss here and I'm looking for a PC hp tasty on amazon unless someone knows the solution?

  Yes, only has them rang 4 times and because it is an Indian call centre and the person on the other end I finally got through could not understand what I was on about I decided to hang up!   Acer doesn't support or benefit from upgrades of part 3. That said, my personal opinion is that you'll want to check the size of the map, but it seems that the 960 will work according to the specifications which I'm going to the link below.

• Can predator G3620 - you help pass the LITEONIT LCS - 128M6S ATA Device?

  The LITEONIT LCS - 128M6S ATA Device is disk system (drive c) 128 GB of my predator G3620.

  This disk is much too small, that much information is automatically stored on this drive with no possibility for me to intervene.

  That's why I want a larger version of this player, and I know that it is available on the market. I just want to be sure my predator G3620 can manage either of these versions, 256 GB, or 512. I have the hardware to clone the drive.

• Acer Predator G3620 does not start / has stopped working

  Hey, I got this computer from a friend who does not need it more. I have not had a true PC in 6 years. Always used a laptop with Linux, do not have a Windows operating system from 7. (I don't know no * beep * about material things) So, I got it home, bootet and everything works fine. A ran a few points of reference for the video card, checked if everything was ok. He had installed Win8.1. His former * beep * is all the more this thing, so any format / install Win10!

  I started the installation of Win10 in Win8.1 because it is somehow, he would not start the USB at the start. If something copied PC, I cancelled it bacause I couldn't choose my language and I tried to boot from USB again, but it did not work. So I hold the Power button until the coils of PC, press again and nothing. (The USB stick with Win10 works fine, used to install Win10 on my computer laptop girls last week.)

  There is an SSD of 16 Go inside, but the Windows files are all on a 500 GB Partition.

  I TRIED SOME THINGS:

  Turn it off for half an hour, running again. Same question.

  It turns off, took out the RAM GPU and BIOS battery, waited 15 minutes while. Always the same.

  Looks like something related to the motherboard, I suggest you to update the BIOS by the way so if it is something related to it, it can be fixed.

  I have an installed two years with Win 8.1 old Acer predator. I want to upgrade to Win 10, but I'm concerned about what will happen if I get a hard drive at some point failure. Should I pay for another set of recovery disks? Or will I have to install Win 8 of the discs I have, then move to 8.1, and then to win 10?

  If your HARD drive dies, you can use your recovery disk windows 8 and then switch to 10 without going through 8.1

  I can suggest an easy way.

  You can create an image just system after the upgrade to windows 10, have your drivers updated to version 10 of windows and make sure that your system is stable.

  After that, with the windows tool, you can create the system image on DVD or external HARD drive and use it to re - install your copy of windows 10 as you just improved.

• Predator G3620 - USB CD boot?

  I have an AG3620-TFUR12 predator, just bought a week ago.  I had a couple of random reboots and decided to test my RAM with memtest86 +, but was unable to boot from USB or CD.  After some research, I found that probably has to do with the Cree last UEFI stuff, but I can't know exactly what to disable it in EFI/BIOS settings for the computer boot from USB.

  • Whenever I try to pick different boot devices, it still fails to find anything except the hard drive, even with a bootable CD and USB drive availabe.
  • I tried to disable SecureBoot so.  In addition to increasing startup time to 4-5 minutes main boot screen, it has yet to find bootable devices.
  • The CD and the flash player appear in Win8 very well.

  Someone at - it experience with this machine or a similar model (I assume that similar models will have the same BIOS)?  Also, anyone who knows the random reboots or RAM problems?

  On the AG3620-TFUR12 mobos there is an option called "heritage OPROM."  I had to do some research to understand what is OpROM.  It turns out it's a UEFI feature that follows the old BIOS protocals, so that the devices are compatible.  Once I allowed him (it has been disabled by default) all started very well.

  So iv got myself another monitor and iv had a problem like iv got my main monitor with a mini HDMI cable setup but there is no second mini HDMI or a normal HDMI and there is a VGA cable spot which is blocked... anyone got any ideas how I can connect my second monitor?

  So I used the Intel RST in my mobile predator that I bought for almost 2 months, created a RAID 1 Volume using the SSD and HARD drive. But without treading of the understanding that the RAID1 'had to be done with 2 drives of the same capacity to avoid wasting space'. For now, I see only my SSD in my OS, but the HARD drive is still present in the software of the RST as a recovery disk. So I would like to cancel my RAID1, that I found is possible, but I couldn't use the CTRL + i or other ways to open the option of RST No. ROM POST. What should I do?

  BTW, I asked at the disk of dissappearing in the Intel community, a guy told me but now I want to find a way to cancel my first RAID1.

  Switch back to RAID without re-creating the table, it's just a degraded RAID array and leaving as AHCI is the best solution, the only thing you will need to set AHCI is to change the configuration of the disk 10 windows or you will experience a BSOD.

  here refers a change in the IDE to AHCI, but it's the same RAID on AHCI.

  One thing we address here is storing the value RAID controller in the BIOS, crossing the AHCI simply destroy the table and it's the fastest way to do and you don't even need to format the other drive with Gparted, but you can do it from windows itself if... RAID is 1.

  Only on the RAID1 configurations:

  1. run as administrator command prompt (logo key windows + x - click prompt (Admin))
  2 call a boot safe mode with the command: bcdedit/set {current} minimum safeboot
  3. restart the PC and enter your BIOS during the startup.
  4. change of RAID in AHCI mode and then save & exit (F10).
  5 Windows 10 will run in Mode safe, once started, remember that C: is your SSD and not the HARD drive.

  (if it gives an error 'no boot device', you need to check the BIOS if the windows Boot Manager is the first boot device.)
  6. do a right-click the icon of the window and choose to run the command prompt (Admin)

  7. then inside the cmd window, type
  DiskPart
  then, type diskpart
  list disk
  take note of the correct disc ID to clear
  Select disk x
  (where x is the ID of your disk to erase)
  clean
  output
  your HARD drive will be erased completely

  8. then open a command prompt (admin), once again and Safe Mode cancel startup with the command: bcdedit /deletevalue {current} safeboot
  9 reboot your PC once more and this time that it will start normally, but with AHCI mode enabled.

  Hi everyone I recently bought an acer predator 17 in one of the local stores from the Philippines last October 5, 2016. Overall, the quality is excellent and it works what is said. I have some of my favorite and need games apps installed in the computer, but after that, the system keeps on crashing. I tried to restore from the previous version until it becomes completely unaccesible.

  I tried to run the reset in the system recovery but the samsung mzvpv256hdgl-00000 256 gb SSD was locked. I tried to remove the volume completely and reinstall the partition. He worked a few times, but it's really unacessible even after that. I tried to copy some files, reinstall windows, but it says incorrect function. I can't open the disc itself, because of the warranty.

• Nine Acer Predator G3-605 starts windows 8

  Hello.
  I got my Acer Predator G3 605 last week, but the system was slow.
  So I decided to put my SSD OCZ Agility 120 GB 2 expansion slot and instal windows drive there.
  As a first step, it starts up fine and work fast. I installed all the updates and soft, reboot several times and no problems.
  After I put everything I have delete the windows HARD disk partition. Then system stop when windows starts.

  So far, I tried this:
  1. several resettlement on the SSD and HDD image or clean install.
  2. all the BIOS for SECURE BOOT settings (on/stop/standard/custom/key on / key removed) and CSM.
  3. I connect only SSD or HDD only and do recover or new installation.
  4 delete all partitions and recover / clean installation.
  5. update of the BIOS/SSD firmware
  6 recovery discs acer does not help. Even that resetting the BIOS.

  Nothing helps. He works until the 'Configuration' window material and after the reboot that it stuck.
  No idea what can be wrong and how to fix it?

  I finally found a solution by myself, so I'll post my solution here in case someone will have the same problem.
  It works for me, can't promise it will work for everyone.

  My step by step solution:
  1. I created WindowsToGo on my USB with this statement:

  2. from Acer Support I have download all the latest drivers for my Acer Predator G3 605 and extract everything to a special folder on my USB key
  3. I disconnect my HDD SATA cable drive (there is still no connected SSD)
  4. in the bios I have disable startup secure, activate the start menu and CSM always turn on
  5. After restart I press F12 and the start menu, I selected my USB with WinToGo
  6. once my Windows go hardware and post installation preparation I finally see the start menu.
  7. the first thing to do was connect my HDD SATA cable so windows automatically detects the drive
  8. I open prompt by admin, type diskpart, and then list disk, my HARD drive has disk 0 so I type select disk 0, then clean type
  9. I have installed all the drivers for my Acer and restart
  10 after restarting, I go to my pre downloaded BIOS updated and open the app updated
  11 choose ROM file, choose update all (not only part of pre selected), then click FLASH
  12 reboot, unplug my USB and put it in my installation USB Windows 8 key (DVD can also be used)
  13. from Windows install go to advance the installation and choose the HARD drive (in this point installation program said that cannot be installed on this drive as bios don't have drivers, but I could still create partition, so I did two create and click Next)
  14. After all server files have been copied computer auto restart
  15 Windows 8 shows the information for the preparation of the devices (it was the last part of work for me before, cuz after computer restart blocked)
  16. after restarting Windows boot and go to the Customization screen. Everything works.

  I have to keep secure boot off and CSM on yet.

  Is it possible to put an SSD in a 2.5 "to 3.5" SSD & Sata HDD Converter and use it in expansion of easyswap Bay of a predator G3620 running windows 8?

  And if so, what settings should I change?

  I got a private message to this essentially telling me that the answer is no you can use HARD Drive Converter in the expansion Bay. Which is a shame as I wanted to use the hard drive of my laptop.
