Recovery is required for my Satellite C70D-A-114 files

I have a Satellite C70D-A-114...

I rarely used because it was slow

then I wanted to sell

first I wanted to get back to factory settings

Thus, in this process seems to have removed all the files

so now I only get the message no bootable disk, etc.

All tried, there is simply no file recovery

So where can I find such a file for free? It is not normal that he is not on the site.

All that you can find for free are all the drivers, tools and utilities. Original recovery image (software) is not for free and if you need you must order the recovery directly disk by Toshiba.

You can order it on https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx

By the way: in the document of the user manuals is clearly describes how you can create the installation of recovery disc. I wonder that you he has not done in the past.

    Dear users,

My 8 week old * laptop Satellite C70D-A-114 * (purchased January 14, 2014) is down for the second time.
It is still the HARD drive which gave, as well as a broken cd tray.

Currently, the situation is that Toshiba blames me for inflicting damage to the laptop Satellite.
Well, without any physical damage on the outside, it's a hypothesis rather bold, true?

It is not just that I, as a consumer, have suffered a lot of frustration and discomfort by this second default when a 8 week old product, don't... Now, it's MY FAULT.

After calling several times to a pretty expensive 'helpdesk'... which is now the result broken down from the Toshiba laptop which has not left my house since I bought it 8 weeks ago.
(he also spent 2.5 weeks for repair and transport... so if you think... I used it about 6 weeks and now it is down for the second time)
The laptop remains the repairfacility, until I paid for the repaircosts. 25% of the price - new.
I lost not only my product, I'm subject to blackmail.

In any case, feel like it... feel like I'm made to blame for a product that is less... that makes me furious!

    Way to go, Toshiba NL!
    Excellent service * not *.

Sorry to hear all this. Have you asked Toshiba hotline if there is only one service allowed in your country, or you can send it elsewhere?

I mean Toshiba contracts with various small approved partners and if you are not satisfied with one of them tried to contact someone else and ask for help.

    Hello.

I have a Satellite x 205-S9349 and I need this laptop recovery disk. I have 2 CD that came with the laptop and they say that the Toshiba Recovery and applications / drivers Satellite x 200 / x 2005 series windows vista Home premium 32-bit. but it don't work at all. Only are good drivers.

The thing is that I decide to install a new clean version of windows Vista, but I end up having a black screen asking me to choose between an earlier version of windows or the current version. So I have 2 windows particions. I try whatever it is possible to remove the earlier version, but still nothing. Now I can format the hard drive, but I don't know how to do it.

    Help, please...

    Hello

According to the description of the model of laptop, I suppose you have American portable model. I don't know how it works in the United States but, as much as I know, laptops computers Toshiba come with recovery CD/DVD facilities only.

In the past, Toshiba has delivered separate the CD with the drivers, tools and utilities, but no more. If you have this recovery installation CD/DVD it cannot be used to install drivers.
When you have written - it don't work at all what do you mean exactly?
Did you use this recovery media in the past or you want to do this for the first time?

  • New disk recovery is required for my Equium A100-338

    Hi all

I've had my laptop for a good few years now and I need to use the recovery disc, the problem is that the disc is scratched to hell and Toshiba say I must pay £29.99 for a replacement disk, which is a little steep.

My question is Toshiba has a replacement policy of the disks scratched if it isn't that how all the drivers and pre-installed software back, I have no problem with the help of my parents vista install DVD that is available for 3 machines, but I want all software and stuff that is loaded on the recovery disk.

Any ideas on how I can do this

When you buy Toshiba laptop (old model), you will get a disk to restore DVD facilities.
If this disk is destroyed and cannot be used you can get a new one, but is not free.

So, you have the choice of ordering a new or install a clean operating system.
Recovery image recorded on recovery facilities disc contains following software:
    -Operating system
    -All drivers
    -Utilities and specific tools Toshiba
-Some other software such as a DVD player or application antivirus (trial version)

In my opinion, you should install own OS. All the drivers, Toshiba tools and utilities that you can download from the Toshiba support page - http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com

It is quite the same as on the recovery image. DVD player is not important, and you can download free very good VLC player. As an antivirus application I recommend Avira antivir.

Hi there, my son lost the recovery disc 1 for its Satellite P10.
We got disc 2 (drivers) but no disc 1.

Where can I get an another restore disc 1. and what it cost around.

    Post edited by: merdat

    Hello

Usually you could order the ASP in your country, but I m not very well that if you will be able to order this disc because the P10 is an old notebook series and possibly the recovery discs are not more available for this model.

However, you must contact the ASP in your country to get a confirmation.
Maybe you are a lucky man and the CD is available.

    Good luck

  • The laptop recovery Toshiba Satellite L505-S5997 problem error: Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device

I have a Toshiba Satellite L505-S5997 computer laptop and my hardrive recently crushed, impossible to restart.  I installed a SEAGATE 500 GB/sata/GO 16 MB of Cache, 7200 RPM hard drive. I ordered recovery for the computer disks and many of the drivers will not update or install without error that tells me that "Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might be installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or maybe it's a malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52) "error.  Also, when I try to update Windows 7 I get the ' Windows Update cannot currently check for updates, because the service is not running. "  You may have to restart your computer. "When I try to download the service pack from the Web site it is usually interrupted with another error.  I tried to go to the Toshiba website and download the drivers needed and utitilities but nothing seems to work.  I am at a loss to try to seek and find a solution.

Are you sure that the original problem was caused by a failure of the HD, did you test that the hd with the utility bootable disk from audit?

As if you reinstalled to a new HD using that the required all defined recovery Tosh disk drivers would have been installed in this process.

Assuming that Tosh then rebooted successfully after recovery, windows update would have run some important updates automatically. If that failed then it would seem that something is happening with your system.
