Recovery of accidentally deleted data

Hello

I have a feeling there is no solution to this but here goes, my daughter has deleted data recovery on the L300-299.
Is it possible to recover? The partition has been formatted, so I couldn't t get something in return.
Toshiba is no ISO or whatever it is in these circumstances? Any help would be appreciated.
Frankly

Unfortunately there is no way to recover this data.
Data recovery is not downloadable.

Only thing you can do is to order the new DVD of recovery under https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx

original title: how to restore my data express form in outlook that was placed in the trash, I moved an email in a folder and all other data files were sent to the Recycle Bin

    1. Please do not use Outlook as a shortcut to Outlook Express. They are two completely different programs.
    2. Bak files, you see in the trash is moved when you attemptrd to move messages, i.e. an automatic backup that occurs when the compaction of your records. They were probably there already.

If you are moving messages, first examine all records to ensure that they don't end up in the right folder, or becomes one subfolder of another. If this is not the case, read on.

    *****************************************

Two reasons the most common for what you describe is disruption of the compacting process, (never touch anything until it's finished), or bloated folders. More about that below.

Why OE insists on compacting folders when I close it? :
    http://www.insideoe.com/FAQs/why.htm#compact

    Why mail disappears:
    http://www.insideoe.com/problems/bugs.htm#mailgone

    Recovery methods:

If you are running XP/SP3, then you should have a backup of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin (or possibly the message store), copied as bak files.

To restore a folder bak on the message store folder, first find the location of the message store.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, the .dbx files are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in the Solution Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder options | View.

Close OE and in Windows Explorer, click on the dbx to the file missing or empty file, then drag it to the desktop. It can be deleted later once you have successfully restored the bak file. Minimize the message store.

Open OE and, if the folder is missing, create a folder with the * exact * same name as the bak file you want to restore but without the .bak. For example: If the file is Saved.bak, the new folder should be named saved. Open the new folder, and then close OE. If the folder is there, but just empty, continue to the next step.

First of all, check if there is a bak file already in the message. If there is, and you have removed the dbx file, go ahead and rename it in dbx.

If it is not already in the message, open the trash and do a right-click on the file bak for the folder in question and click on restore. Open the message store up and replace the .bak by .dbx file extension. Close the message store and open OE. Messages must be in the folder.

If messages are restored successfully, you can go ahead and delete the old dbx file that you moved to the desktop.

If you have not then bak copies of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin:

    And see:

A general warning to help avoid this in the future:

Do not archive mail in default OE folders. They finally are damaged. Create your own folders defined by the user for mail storage and move your mail to them. Empty the deleted items folder regularly. Keep user created folders under 300 MB, and also empty as is possible to default folders.

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:

  • Recovery of accidentally deleted vCenter

We run 5.5 on our hosts and vCenter. and the vCenter VM has been deleted by accident one of the hosts. So, we currently have our guests running in a cluster, with VDS and no way to manage it properly. The VCDB was on a different virtual machine which is still OK, but I need to do it all in place and working again.

In terms of recovery, what would people recommend? Delete the DB and rebuild it from scratch (I have no real need for historical data)? Or can I reinstall VC and that it points to the current VCDB? Also, I'm better off migration at this point out of VDS hosts for a standard switching? I think I'll have questions, add hosts to an another VC if they carry a VDS created on another VC?

Hi, if you have vCenter DB intact, so you can install a new vCenter and point to the existing database.  If you do not have a backup of the files system of the former vcenter, so you will have problems with the ssl certificate.  It would be helpful for you http://www.virtualclouds.info/restoring-vcenter-server/

Regarding the VDS, once you have vCenter and launched, you can resynchronize hosts.  I would not retreat standard switches, here's a good read Distributed vSwitches and vCenter fails, that & #039; s the deal?

  • HP Envy Phoenix 810-000ec recovery partition accidentally deleted.

    Hello

I recently bought a HP Envy Phoenix 810-000ec PC with Windows 8 x 64 pre installed. After I received it, I ugraded to 8.1 Windows x 64 and installed all necessary updates. But when you try to create a recovery disk I accidently deleted the entire recovery of the bootable SSD partition. Is it possible to undo these changes in return? As I have now a 13.5 GB unallocated disk SSD 120 GB of disk space.

I tried to google the question a bit and I managed to recover the partition lost with - MiniTool Partition Recovery. So my problem is solved now. Thanks for the reply anyway.

  • Satellite A665 - accidentally deleted my recovery partition

I accidentally deleted my partition restoration for TOSHIBA SATELLITE A665 LAPTOP.
Would I be able to create a partition for recovery with the same content again?
    If so, how?... really confused...

Should I buy a new recovery disk because when I bought my laptop I did not receive any recovery disk...
I'll be able to get my laptop as it was before?

    Hello

Do not have recovery disks because there is a pre-installed software called Toshiba Recovery Media Creator who creates these discs.
But it must be created in the first day of the purchase, I assume that you will not be able to create this disc now because the partition (which contains the image files) has been removed.
So now, you will need to purchase the recovery (about 30) disk in order to recover the laptop. After that the recovery partition should be available again.

  • Recovery disk is deletes the data at the 2nd disk on Satellite A300?

    Hello
I use a laptop Toshiba A300, which has 2 hard drives (250GB). The laptop has Windows Vista Home Edition 32-bit installed, but I want to change for Windows Vista 64-bit, which comes with the recovery disk, in order to use all 4 GB of RAM.

I have all the backup data and move them to the 2nd HARD drive (D, C named first name).

So I wonder if Recovery Wizard will delete the data of the two hard disks or just a 1st.

    Hello

Your laptop was equipped with HARD drive recovery option allows you to create the own Toshiba Recovery disk which would be contains the preinstalled operating system.
In your case the Vista 32 bit.

And Yes, install from the recovery disk format the whole HARD drive and removes all the disk, also of the second partition.

That's why to create the recovery disk before you install or change anything on the HARD drive

I don't think that you can move the recovery partition of the USB hard disk.  The D: partition is restored when you perform a recovery of the system using the USB drive, however.

If the user accesses the server accidentally deleted the folder how recovery

    Hi AmjadPasha,

If you are referring to a local file, you can check the trash.

If you are referring to a network share, then there is very little that can be done.

You can try using recovery software/services of third parties to retrieve the file.

You can use your favorite search engine to search for third-party software.

Note: The use of third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

  • Z420: accidentally deleted the recovery partition

Accidentally deleted the Partition D:Recovery on my win machine 7 Z420. I have HP recovery disks: System Recovery, Driver Recovery DVD, 8.1Pro operating system and operating system Win 7 pro sp1.  The use of these will recreate the partition D automatically or do I have to do this first.  I have the orientations of the white paper "Restoring Microsoft windows 7 on the z420 ', but I was told that it will not recreate the recovery partition.  There is no need to restore everything if in fact I still have until the end without disk recovery D and files?

There is no way to recreate the recovery partition on the z420.  The recovery disk media that I bought with the Z420 does not include this information.  It will only recover the original operating system and drivers and software that came with the system.  I spoke with HP z workstation support today.

  • FAT32, exFAT, NTFS, which is the best for the recovery of deleted data?

I have a usb 3.0 port (Kingston 100 3 16 GB) to store my important data. I read the article on this site: http://www.ntfs.com/ntfs_vs_fat.htm

and they say recoverablitity of exFAT is "Yes if FAT active." I don't know what FAT and how to activate it, and what type of file system should I use (FAT, exFAT, NTFS) for the highest ability of data recovery if they are deleted?

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

According to the description of problem, you're ready to recover the deleted data and would like to know some information about the FAT.

A transaction-safe FAT (FAT) file system is a file system designed specifically to ensure the security of transactions for data stored on a disk. FAT requires a driver of specific hardware designed for the type of media on which the volume of FAT will exist. Assuming that there is a driver of material-specific secure transaction block, and that the driver provides interfaces to standard FAT file system, the FAT may work on removable media such as Compact Flash cards and digital cards secured, as well as media not removable, such as hard drives and NAND Flash memories.

By design, the FAT file system is not a secured file transaction system. FATF may be corrupted if a write operation is interrupted in the middle of a transaction. Interruptions to occur due to loss of power or the suppression of the media. Fat is corrupted when the content of the FAT table does not have directory sections or data on the volume.

I suggest you to return the article mentioned below and see if it helps you to recover lost or deleted data on your computer.
