  My HP DC7100-won't start and when I turn it on it flashes the red light 5 times, I searched and apparently, this meant that it was a mistake of memory, now, I thought it was kind of weird because the RAM worked fine before this incident. Although this was immediately after I did something, the case was not properly and I pushed in place and then the screen is blurry and it turns off automatically. Then I tried to start it and now it flashes 5 times and I have not yet installed all additional Rams, are the RAM that came with it. Help, please!

  Ok.. what I've done

  On XP (in this case in a parallels VM) I uninstalled all the blackberry related to software give me a clean slate.

  Installed: "9000M_PBr4.6.0_rel518_PL4.0.0.248_A4.6.0.303_Orange_UK.exe."

  I HAVE NOT installed the Desktop Manager.

  Ran

  /NoJVM loader.exe and select 'next' when he said peripheral unknown

  There is no half feel, though... but that's ok, as it then had a '507' whitescreen reboot loop!

  Ran

  Loader.exe (this time without the /jvm bit)

  He saw that the serial number so just followed the instructions on the screen

  battery remaining in all the time as it was the sim card.

  The subject little line about everything said.  After you have installed 3 new ink carts (made many times before) the ink Light Magenta and Cyan continue to Flash.  After printing a 'HP Deskjet general purpose Test-Print Page assessment', all 4 squares show own colors, perfectly informed, so I know that the ink carts are installed correctly, etc...  (Clicked in place)

  No matter what I try the lights continue to Flash.  Cannot get 'Toolbox' show, or else that could help.

  Any help appreciated.

  After a lot of digging around to ask questions and even back to where the ink carts have been recently purchased, the conclusion is that the ink level monitors do not work when using reloaded ink carts. (Yes, those carts to Office Max which I forgot to mention in original post.) HP designed their carts to original ink for 'single use '. So now the printer "think" the cyan and magenta ink carts are low causing the red & blue lights flashing.

  　

  Not long after this printer was purchased in January 2010 the Toolbox stop working, even if HP carts have always been used... until now. Recently I reinstalled the HP digital imaging software and the Toolbox works again. What's weird, is that the Toolbox shows low ink on the three colors, but only the red & blue lights blink. (The black wagon is still an original HP.)

  　

  Bottom line: next time I'll pay 3 extra bucks for carts HP ink cartridges so flashing lights don't drive us crazy. LOL either that or put a piece of tape insulation on them for now.

  Time Machine is not a light yellow because TM is a software and your description does not match a function of TM, I think you are referring to a Time Capsule.   CCan really turn on and off with power button flashing light / stop.  And can hear the click (assuming it's the disc) turn off.

  With or without the adapter is connected to the computer (well known socket), the computer will not turn on.  The LED located on the left side of the computer where the socket is attached blinks 3 times (white), but does not supply power to the top.  Another post I saw said "continuous" flashing would be the power adapter, but wanted to ensure that it is in fact the problem before buying a new...  Any help would be great!

  I understand that the computer will not turn on. However, when you connect the AC adapter of the power port light flashes 3 times.  Please check that the power cord is not one of the recall. HP laptop AC Power Cord Safety retirement program and replacement announced August 26, 2014 .  You use a power bar?  Have you tried a different outlet? Here is a link to the HP laptops - tests and using the AC adapter which can also help.

• Yoga: S1 ThinkPad won't start, only the light flashes three times.

  So I just bought a refurbished Thinkpad Yoga and everything was great for a little while. So I decided to stop it and put it aside for a few minutes. After coming back, he now refuses to even POST.   I have the feeling that you had opened the back cover of tinkering with components (whether a change of SSD or the modem 3g / 4g).

  the symptoms you described sounds exactly like a cut cable MB. You can try opening the hood back and on the left side, you will see a wire labeled "MB". tighten, and the computer should fit now.

  I was replacing the fan in my friend's laptop computer.   I have a T450S which is a few months. It worked fine until the other day when it wouldn't turn on.

  When I push the power button, the Green LED flashes three times. Then, the LEDs on the keys F1, F4 and Fn comes on for a few seconds and turns off.

  It seems that your laptop has a blank screen and a blinking/flashing CAPSLOCK all the time

  If the Capslock LED flashes 3 times this means "Non-functional memory error", in order to solve the problem, replace the card memory

  Note: If you are comfortable open Notepad, you can check how much you have memory module. If you have 2 sticks of memory, you can test one at a time on the two slots individually to check if the fault is with the module module slot or memory memory your laptop [repeat the same steps to test another memory module]

  If you find the above steps difficult and that it is a hardware problem and I recommend you contact HP Support by phone for further assistance immediately to get your diagnostic Notebook and repaired by an authorized HP Certified Engineer

  Hello, im hoping someone can help me, I have a 1113eo of the g7. that does not start. the battery has been dead for a while, but his works well with just the adapter.   Ok.  I have 2 almost identical machines.  One is a Compaq CQ57-229WM and a HP 2000-2B19WM.  They share a large number of components such as batteries, chargers, memory, etc... It's the 2000 is Windows 8.0, it's hard enough for my elderly mother of 69 year to Win7 and IMPOSSIBLE for her to understand Win8 without touchscreen interface, so I went down there to Win7 and it worked fine... for a while.  He kept getting slower and slower and finally got the point of being useless.  I ordered a set of food DVD and he would give Win8, mother mine and use the 2000 myself.  I read the instructions, started how the flyer said, and he began to fix the system.  20 seconds, he froze and would not answer and finally turn off.  It was plugged, but I thought that the battery can have died and grabbed my Compaq battery (same reference by the way), put in there and nothing.  I thought nothing of it since I had been using my Compaq and it had been left unplugged for a few days and thought the battery on this subject was dead too.  I swapped batteries back, plugged in the Compaq and the a/c charging light came not.  I pressed the power button and the a/c flashed light 3 times and went.  I put the battery in the HP unit and you press the power button and the button itself barely (more than a quick "glow" than a flicker) flashes and a/c light flashes 3 times.  I swapped the memory on the Compaq with a new memory (since flash 3 code if for bad memory module) and nothing... still 3 flashes.

  Anyone want to try stabbed at it?  I think that the battery has lost his "condition memory", but which do I put a new battery in as they both do the same thing now?  AND if that is the case, how do I get the HP restore Win8 on it if all it's going to short-circuit batteries?

  The rental, it is set awhile with no battery solved the problem.
