  The types of files that you listed are those which is supported to display path of the device and the file path.  Other types of files are always scanned and checked against the cloud, they will simply not display on the device and the file path.

• ContentHandler: can it provide icons for its file types?

  I implemented the ContentHandler/RequestListener/registry setting to manage the types of application attachments (and files), using the 'CHAPIDemo' incoming email as a reference starting point. I'm pretty confident that I've got things that works pretty well. My app responds to the menu item "Open Attachment" and my app jumps into action and is provided with the necessary information. So far so good.

  Is it possible to register an icon for file types that handles my application? For now, the icon is a white box with a question mark. I would rather offer something a bit nicer.

  I hope it's a matter of easy noob who takes 2 lines of code to fix, but I tried a little different searches Google/forum, nothing helps.

  No, this is not supported.  Content API Manager does not provide the means for an application for registration of an icon for its content type.

  I don't know what version of DW, you have, but in CS6 preferences panel allows you to specify the default document type and file extension for all new files that you create in DW.   This does not affect your existing website files.  Only for new.

  To edit existing documents, go to modify > Page Properties > title/encoding.

  Now, if you are working on several sites with the requirements of the other script, you can specify the type of page to create by clicking file > New > blank page > choose a page type.

  I'm having some problems with the functionality of all Associations, located in the section default programs in Control Panel.  There are a number of types/protocols files that are set up to be opened with the wrong default programs.  When I go to change the program, the browse option doesn't let me choose the program I want.  One of the files I'm having this problem with is the .docx file.  I want to put in place to make the default Microsoft Word program, but he keeps recommending Microsoft Word Viewer and will not let me choose Microsoft Word on my computer.  I know this isn't a major problem and that the files can be opened by Word by using other methods.  It's just annoying, and it bothers me when something does not work on my computer.  A lot of files/protocols are also unknown application listed under the column of default program.  I know that is not normal.  Any of you know what is the cause?

  Yep, you will need to write an application server (your Push initiator) that will send the shoot to the BlackBerry push Service PPG (it will be the public/BIS PPG if you send a push the public and not the users business/work).  If you're comfortable with Java, we offer a Push Service SDK that makes it easy to write a push initiator.

  I've recently updated my laptop and Vista for the first time.  I now have difficulties to download zip files of emails and sites such as magnatune.com.  When I choose to save, he saves as file "iTunes Music Player" type and creates a copy of my iTunes library.  The file is marked however I save it, but when I try to open it, it's my library iTunes rather than any other file, I tried to download.

  Beyond the Hide/Unhide check, there may be individual entries in the registry keys that include the termNeverShowExt

  Backup of the registry.

  To change a name of file, all you have to do is right click on the file, and then click Rename, instead of the path you describe in the thread.
