(Redirected) Distributor of DELL is ripped off of something - guaranteed valid to a date prior to the purchase

Hello.

The distributor of DELL that I chose, sold me a laptop, well, but when I connect to the DELL Web site with my service tag security seems to have started 4 months before my purchase.

I need DELL Europe or DELL WE directly contact to complain about my Distributor. I am from Bulgaria, and DELL are not present in Bulgaria (directly), only to resellers.

I searched and searched for DELL website to find a way to complain, but all that it redirects me is the list of the resellers for my country. Of course, I need to ignore them and pass over them to complain about the specific dealer.

There must be a way to tell DELL what one of their tricks on me tire dealers.

Help, please.

Hi martinch8002,

You have purchased from a Distributor, who bought this pc four months ago. The guarantee starts when the laptop was purchased. I don't know may be modified on this something, but transfer your question in the forum we see customer service.

  • Dell u2415, turn off even for 1 second, when I turn on imagine is blurred

    Good afternoon.

I just bought a Dell u2415 and connected it to my gtx Nvidia gets through this miniDP 770. Now what is happening: the monitor is doing well. If my computer is turned on, IF I turn off my monitor and back, imagine it is impossible to see, see a lot of horizontal lines and and impossible to do anything whatsoever and 2-3 sec later the monitor tries to enter mode 'sleep', that it has become active again and so on. Even if the monitor is in standby.

The only solution is to keep it on all the time.

    No idea what to do?

    Thank you

Have you tested the U2415 on another computer to see if the issue follows the U2415? This video card has a DP (DisplayPort) size.

Instead of going DP video--> DP Dell card cable--> U2415 CDM CDM.

buy a DP cable to the RFP and test:
video DP card on-->--> U2415 DP DP DP cable in

  • Is my mother getting ripped off, she was contacted by a representative of windows phone 8, who said she has many mistakes and they consulted mote fix him.

A rep is currently approximately for 2 hours now.  She called to tell me, and it seems too hokey to me.  A representative contact you?  I think she's getting ripped off?

Your question is not clear, but if you want to say, "Someone called my mom pretending to be technical support, logged on to his computer and has been associated with for two hours now" then the answer is Yes, she is in imminent danger of having his computer corrupted, damaged or stolen from him information.  Read here:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-GB/security/online-privacy/avoid-phone-scams.aspx

You should have your mother back up all the files (photos, movies, music, etc.) that it cannot afford to lose and immediately clean up his computer and restores in factory new condition.  Check the manuals of your computer or the web support site for more details.

Finally, it must communicate with banks, investment firms, etc. and inform them of what has past.  They will advise what needs to be done to protect its banking assets or accounts online might be hacked by these people.

  • (Redirected) Verification of DELL

    Hello

To start my story: 3 days ago, me and my girlfriend decided to buy a laptop DELL XPS 13 Belgian Web site. Like any other company online order us something: we are entering data of payment, delivery address and all the stuff it takes.  We believe that we ordered the laptop and we will receive it soon. Until we receive an email the day of 'Joe jacob', an email apparently coming UK/Ireland said us he tried to contact us by phone (never happened) to verify our purchase information. Wait a second? We went right on the Web site, we live in BELGIUM and we get contactad of the UK/Ireland? Weird how? Since no other company online never check this, we think that it is a scam... And nowhere on the dell website is being mentioned that we would get a phone call or e-mail to verify our data? (Just for a laptop?) The Dell man told us that if we check, it will cancel our order. (It's weird, last year, I ordered the 15 inspiron 7000 inches and I never had to check?)
We always think that it is a scam, so tell us him that on the mail. He says we can contact dell in Belgium to check his e-mail. So we tried... Could not get a hold of someone in Belgium at Dell, we tried the telephone number and we tried the email address. (No respons at once)

Yesterday, Joe Jacob call my girlfriend. She picks up the phone and an apparently Indian man started talking to her with a strange accent. We live in Belgium, we are contacted to the United Kingdom of a man speaking with an Indian accent? She still thinks it's a scam and told her to leave him alone and hangs up the phone. Last night, that we receive a letter saying that our order has been canceled...

How the hell is it possible that an international company has no way to check if an email coming from their company or is it a scam? How is it possible that we had to check our results for the purchase of a laptop? How is it possible that nowhere on the Web site is being mentioned must check our order after we entered all our information online? How is it possible that we have contacted other countries and not the than ours?

We always receive this laptop, WITHOUT all the hassle.

  • (Redirected) Black screen Dell Inspiron 7537.

I bought my Dell Inspiron 7537 last year only to use it for 7 months before the part of my screen went completely black. There are like 3 or 4 black lines which became bigger and bigger by the day. It was still in warranty, so I took my laptop to my dealer. Its been almost 5 months, my dealer told me that Dell refused to send a replacement screen first. When Dell decided to send a screen it was the wrong. Reference Dell claims now that they don't have the type of screen that needs my model and I have to wait, like 5 months is not enough. I tried to contact Dell without a bit of luck. I hope that get answers here or something. Sorry for my English is not my mother tongue.

BTW someone with the same problem with their reference dell inspiron? My dealer told me that they had the same problem with the same model and once again, DELL would not send them a replacement screen.

  • (Redirected) 2710 XPS Dell all-in-one

Two years ago I bought direct Dell Computer XPS two 2710 in a computers within six months of each other.  When I bought the original unit is the upper part of the new line all in one computer and since I bought not less than twelve computers Dell directly from Dell in the past seven years for my business at home and gifts and have always been very satisfied with products I started using the unit of Service tag 8GNLBQ1.  There are about six months or 18 months after the purchase, I started to notice that both sides of the screen were becoming dimmer.   I decided to call a reputable technician who works regularly on my computers.   When he ran a diagnostic on the device, he said the monitor was going on and he also checked some rear lights that have a history of failing.   After looking at the unit, he said that I had to contact Dell and he felt that I don't want to run them on this machine as he is an all-in-one device for monitor and tower are combined into a single device that has a nice design, but can be difficult to work on.  About how to contact Dell and after talking to six people in customer service I was said the machine, which is two years old is obsolete and that they do not stock parts or they will try to obtain parts or service.  So basically I asked my last service rep what I do and he said I could get in touch with Geek Squad, they may be able to get the part.  Maybe, but probably not.  So I asked the Dell could attempt to get the replacement part and service?  No, he said, that the model is at the end of life.  END OF LIFE.  Two years old and I have a weight of three thousand dollars.  Everyone I spoke with, in the premises of Dell Customer Service was in India, everyone I spoke with basically told Dell really do not care a good customer who has more than one of these machines.  The company line is a two year old computer that just introduced one year previously, it was end of LIFE.  Another words computer Dell manufactured these units and they have design flaws that are deadly, and they are not behind their products.  The screen on normal computers can be replaced easily just buy a new, but with these machines, you can not replace the monitor because it is All In One.  Beautiful as it is that it's a pretty expensive paper weight.  Sad, that Dell doesn't care on the client or its reputation in this case just run faster that you can from a faulty design.

  • laptop (Dell Inspiron) with Windows 7 Home Premium is now slow to most of the activities - loading of the pages in the browser, etc.

I heard that after a few years of use, Windows-based computers lose their ability to function. This happened to me before and I bought a new laptop. Now, I think that it happens again. The laptop (Dell Inspiron) with Windows 7 Home Premium is now slow to most of the activities - loading of the pages in the browser, etc... He is also declining my VPN connection occasionally, but also my direct connection is very slow. Latency shows speedtest software provided by the ISP in addition of 250 ms, download speed of 1 MB/s (compared with 8 planned) and 0.05Mbps download. The ISP has corrected this once, but I'm wondering now if it is the computer which is slow rather than on the network because my laptop works well on the same network/router. Is there one solution to this other than another new laptop?

    Jonathan,

You say that your computer is slow, but all of the examples you give are rather than slow computer operations slow network communications.  To avoid any unnecessary work, check how fast the computer is on the tasks that don't use any network.

If it works fine for tasks not network then you can concentrate on the problems of network as being the only concern.

It has also become very slow for no network tasks you should study other causes.  Just as an example: If, like me, you sleep / turn off the computer when you are not using it then defrag will never work, so you can run it manually to make sure that doesn't cause problems.   Describe your symptoms in this thread so that someone can advise on the best course of action.

In the unlikely case where you must run Dell Factory Image Restore, then the instructions are in your manual PC *.  Before doing this, run Dell Datasafe Local Backup then click on Backup, recovery to create - media allows you to create a bootable USB of the partition that you can use the normal procedure that failing Dell Factory Image Restore [to do this, even if you have already solved your problems so that you could face if the hard drive has failed never completely].
