(Redirected) Do not accept the password when connecting

Have a Dell laptop 15 3520 running Windows 8.1 have been logging in fine and all of a sudden it will not recognize the password. System is configured to connect by using the account of Microsoft and no password. Now, he starts asking a password and can't log into Windows at all. I went to another computer and connected to the Microsoft account and changed the password, but when I return to the locked computer it does not accept the new password either. Do not wipe and reload Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 again.

    OK, you cannot double-click the wsconfig file, cause, then you are not running it as sudo, so you will not be allowed.  'sudo' is 'Super user' and allows you to run a program, temporarily, as a super user.  If you do that you won't have permission to edit the httpd config file.

    Try the following.

    Launch the Terminal

    type: cd/Applications/ColdFusion9/runtime/lib (change the correct path if it is not the path to your ColdFusion)

    Press enter

    type: sudo java-jar wsconfig.jar

    Press enter

    It should ask you for your password. Enter it and press ENTER again.

    It should launch the configuration tool, this time with the appropriate permissions to modify the file httd.conf.

    You can change your password to something you remember (or use a white) another administrative user account. If you had only an administrative user account, all is not lost. You can then follow the general recommendations for implementing user accounts in Vista that I will give you at the end of this post.

    General recommendations for creating users in Vista:

    You absolutely don't want to have only one user account. As XP and all the other modern operating systems, Vista is a multi-user system with integrated system of accounts as default Administrator and comments. These accounts should be left alone because they are part of the structure of the operating system.

    In particular, you do not want one account user with administrative privileges on Vista because the administrator account integrated (normally only used in emergencies) is disabled by default.     If you want to go directly to the desktop and ignore the Welcome screen with the icons of the user accounts, you can do this:

    Start Orb > Search box > type: netplwiz [Enter]
    Click continue (or provide an administrator password) when you are prompted by UAC

    Uncheck "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer". Select a user account to connect automatically by clicking on the account you want to highlight and press OK. Enter the password for this user account (when it exists) when you are prompted. Leave blank if there is no password (null).

    Hello.  I have a torch 9800.  I was texting last night and my password has worked well.  Then all of a sudden I couldn't connect.  I tried the SIM card in an another blackberry and it was fine.  ATT have me try a SIM unlock access code and it changed nothing.  I'm sure it's the phone, but don't know how to fix it.  I am to 8/10 unsuccessful login.   I saw that you can reset if it spends more than 10 (but will lose all your info).  How do reset you?  Thank you!

    It certainly looks like the user created password locking device... only it will work. It can be a subtle thing to use keyboard... alt, sym, caps, etc. Or the keyboard can be somehow not in the correct state. A batt pull reboot can reset the keyboard to a normal state by default and allows you to enter your password as usual. But, again, be careful... only 2 chances left.

    As I said, it is only useful if you've done it before... If you have never done before in this way, you know maybe actually not quite what the exact password characters are (according to alt, caps, sym, use etc.).

    When I try to reinstall Adobe CC I am prompted to type in my username and password computer to validate, I'm actually the administrator of this machine, but after you enter the correct password the window just disappears and reappears. If I type the wrong password, this small window will shake and highlight the text I just entered (which means it does not recognize the correct password, but simply don't accept it).

    Obviously, the main issue here is that I can not open all Adobe programs installed on my machine. However, I'm also concerned by the program thinking that I have only a "trial" because I paid for this service on a regular basis.

    The password is being spelled correctly. As I said earlier, the installation program recognizes the correct password, but the window just pops up again. Type the incorrect password (like a bunch of random letters) makes the window little shake and highlight my text.

    I tried to download the Application Manager, and that's exactly where the question arises. The installation program does not past the password entry screen.

    I'll try to reinstall my OS, as seems to be a fix according to the Apple Support forums. Thank you.
