I bought Dell Inspiron model 5th i7 of gen very recently and he got almost dead for no visible reason, when approached for the service after sales and technical support, I was left unattended, with only 2 complaints in hand. Now what to do with this product.
1 he stopped suddenly
2. to restart gave 3 beeps, approached the dealer, his engineer spoke to the people at Dell and pulled out a 8 GB of ram and the system began.
3. it automatically update the BIOS.
4A started his KRRRRRRRRRRRR from the DVD player.
5A started flashing an error Massage fatal ragarding hard disk failed.
6. I shut down and restart again.
7. it starts and go to help and Support, for Chek SMART and give me massages down.
8. I have file a complaint and it is for me a service no.
9. I stopped and give this laptop to the dealer to deal with the problem... and nothing happens...

When I turn off my laptop the fan starts to spin then and during a night, it drains the battery from 100% to 0. I also have some problems of marketing. If the computer is in sleep mode itself or by me, I can't wake up, need button for 10 seconds and then push again and it starts. When turned on, it works perfectly but has these problems. I read somewhere that the resolution of these problems has been to remove the software intel from my computer and I did. It helped but 2 days computer started having these problems again. My system is Windows 7 64 bit. This problem started after that I have somehow left fully charged computer asleep on the charger for about 2 hours. When I came back fan was spinning and the right side of the laptop was hot. Again, battery life is great and computer has no defects during the work (all tests by dell are passed). What can you suggest me to do?

When I plugged my inspiron Dell5050 the touchpad is not working properly. After removing the charger, the touchpad works properly. I restore my system, open in safe mode, digonsis the system, but it has not helped me.

I have a Dell system 325 legacy I need to restore. It does not start. Where can I get the original replacement with Phoenix ROM chips more version 1.10 X 48 BIOS (January 1988). The system is CPU 80386 Version A01 - 034 a 80387 coprocessor. The chips are two 28 pin DIP ROM (ROM 0 and 1 of ROM). There are stickers on the chips:

My modem was replaced in mid-December. So I had difficulties to connect to my printer wirelessly to my Dell laptop. I contacted the technical support Dell - main error. After a price of $199.99 and five hours on the phone with them for two days, it still didn't work. I not ask for their return. At the end of the 1st phone call (3-4 hours), they thought they had everything and test printed a Notepad doc. At one point the tech support rep placed me on video without asking if I was ok with that. Total invasion of privacy! Later in the day when I tried to print I got "paper mismatch". Most of the paper size options were in millimeters. The next day I called the technical support again. He wanted to redo everything that had been done the day before. After about an hour I told him that I have more time to deal with him, I was on a deadline. I had to drive to my work to print the information that I needed. Following all the delays caused by Technical Support, I did not finish my work until 02:00 I have not never will contact Tech support again. I will use a local person. I expect Dell to have a support department impressive considering the quality of their computer products. Worst customer service I have ever received.

I just bought a DELL U2412M monitor, but have problems with its brightness settings. I found extremely bright, can't spend too much time in front of him without having headaches, at the present time, this monitor is useless for me. If I decrease the brightness of the Panel, it helps a little, but only if the brightness is of ~ 10, which is too low to produce a screen the user can enjoy. Do you have any suggestions?

So I look at the my account page to see that my order was cancelled. I get then contacted by dell audit to confirm that I placed an order. I confirmed I was the one who placed the order, but it's been 12 hours and my order still says cancelled. Anyone have any idea when this will update / if there is a problem. Let me know thanks

Instead of just replace parts and sending it to me, they're sending me a 4th gen 14 Alienware, brand new, top-of-the-line. It was but a curse in disguise. 4 months in the use of this 14 Alienware, I noticed that the Ethernet port (which I never use) was not working when the only option to connect to a certain location was Ethernet. So, here I am, 06/17/14, call them, and they say that the computer is out of warranty, which is silly because with a new computer comes a new warranty. I will try to have my money refunded and replace my game machine with another manufacturer. I heard that some MSI computers are very good...

This is false.
When a Dell computer is replaced with a new one under warranty, it does not come with a new guarantee, he assumes the existing security of the computer being replaced, including the expiry date of the guarantee.
